FennrrirX1dPostedIt looks good at first glance but the story has no substance. It is all focused on trash-talking and posturing but nothing ever gets done. There is no payoff, no progression, and no development, just a rehearsing of canon with the introduction of a character that everyone says is the most talented but that became the weakest. 30 chapters in and the system hasn't even been introduced yet, it feels like a contrived set of circumstances designed to just result in a lot of face-slapping in the future. Utterly boring!

Not true, there are 3 ways to be eligible for a Captain seat. 1- Mastering Bankai, 2- Being the Selected Successor of one of the noble families in their respective divisions (they usually reach Bankai anyway before ascending), and 3- Defeating the Captain in a fight. It is just that for numbers 1 and 2 the Captain also requires votes from other division captains.

It's because of the Risk Vs Reward idea. The Jump Chain works by giving you progressively harder worlds to build up your powers that makes it slower than just getting dumped on Naruto with a jump doc but it is a lot safer.
It marvels me how fast people can ramp up in these jump worlds. In the first one, all I could do was teleport, but I was only stronger than a baseline human. Still, now, with my enhanced telekinesis teleportation and the ability to mimic any martial arts, I see after only three jump worlds, it makes me wonder how effectively I can take these powers. - FennrrirX25dReplied to xGhillie
