"You're telling me there's a sentient bacterium out there that is responsible for all the hate mutants have faced since the dawn of the species because of time travel shenanigans?" Evelyn asked as we enjoyed some cold drinks, non-alcoholic of course.

"That pretty much summarizes it," I said, in my V form but without my mask to enjoy the cold breeze.

"Why is everything complicated in this world? Couldn't we just stay out of it?" Oh my dear Evelyn, don't even get me started on the 'new god' that's actually a multiversal entity.

I stayed quiet, letting it sink in that we would get into this mess, mostly because I wanted to do something nice for the ever-suffering mutants. Just to show how bad it is, mutants are considered worse than diseases and are treated worse than rats with the plague v2.0.

"Well, how will we deal with this?" she finally asked, and I just smiled.

[POV change, yeah, we're going there]

John Sublime paced back and forth in his dimly lit lab, his mind racing. Something was terribly wrong. One by one, his clones had begun to die off, their neural connections severed in a cascade of catastrophic failures. He had tried to reroute the network to save as many as possible, but it was no use. Now he was down to his last host, a single, fragile body that held his consciousness.

Sweat dripped down his forehead as he adjusted the settings on his terminal, scanning for any signs of what could be causing this disaster. His once numerous army of clones had been reduced to this frail shell, and fear began to gnaw at the edges of his sanity.

"Dammit," he muttered, slamming his fist on the console. "Who's doing this to me?"

As if in response to his question, the room suddenly filled with a low hum. The lights flickered and then cut out completely, plunging the lab into darkness. Sublime's heart pounded as he fumbled for a flashlight, the beam of which revealed two figures emerging from the shadows.

"Good evening, Mr. Sublime," a smooth voice called out. It was Dr. V, standing tall and confident. Beside him, Evelyn stood with a calm demeanor, her eyes cold and assessing.

"Who are you?" Sublime demanded, his voice trembling. "How did you get in here?"

"Oh, getting in was the easy part," Victor replied, his voice dripping with nonchalance. "The hard part was tracking down a sentient bacterium with a god complex."

"You..." Sublime's eyes widened with realization. "You did this!"

Victor nodded, taking a step closer. "And now that you're down to your last host, we thought it would be the perfect time for a little chat."

"You won't get away with this," Sublime spat, his voice laced with venom. "I have powerful allies. The world needs me!"

Victor laughed, a sound devoid of warmth. "Needs you? No, I don't think so. And as for allies, well, I think you'll find that they have a tendency to disappear when things get tough."

Evelyn produced a syringe filled with a glowing blue liquid. "Now, Mr. Sublime, if you would kindly cooperate, this will go much smoother for everyone involved. We just need a little sample for our research."

Sublime's eyes darted around the room, looking for any means of escape, but there was none. Reluctantly, he extended his arm, thinking on how to get out of this.

Victor stepped forward, holding the syringe with a steady hand. "Good choice, John. This won't hurt a bit. Well, it might, but you'll get used to it."

As the needle pierced his skin, Sublime felt a cold rush spread through his veins. He could only watch helplessly as his vision began to blur, his consciousness slipping away. The last thing he heard was Victor's voice, calm and composed.

"Welcome to your new reality, Sublime. I hope you enjoy your stay."

[Back to your king]

I couldn't help but feel a rush of satisfaction as we secured Sublime in our containment unit. Evelyn and I had done it again, and now I have a new toy. As we walked away from the lab, I turned to Evelyn, a grin spreading across my face.

"Well, that was fun. What's next on our list?"

She rolled her eyes, but there was a hint of a smile on her lips. "You know, Doctor, sometimes I wonder if you enjoy this a little too much."

I shrugged, the thrill of the hunt still coursing through my veins. "Hey, everyone needs a hobby. And besides, it's for a good cause, right?"

Evelyn laughed, shaking her head. "Whatever helps you sleep at night, Dr. V."

Good, she's almost perfect...

Huh, you wanna know what happened? Maybe if you beg enough I'll tell you MUAHAHAHA.

That's how's gonna be, I had this idea and it flooded my brain so I wrote it. 'what about the flow of the story?' so, what about it? If you truly want it, convince me
