Chapter 1

It was a dark and gloomy night in vita city. As the rain was pouring from the sky the Red Crusader was on top of a building looking over at his beloved city. He kneeled down on top of the building looking over the streets as the cars drove pass and the civilians walked about the streets. Everything seemed fine, until he got a VCPD radio distress alert through his communicator.

" This just in armed thugs are located on the west side of the city robbing the Vita City Creek Bank. All distress units dispatch out immediately."

"Guess that's my Q. Savanna pinpoint me the coordinates to Vita City Creek Bank. Time to get to work"

" As you wish sir." Savanna responded.

Springing off the building top the Red Crusader detracted his cape gliding through the sky heading off into the directions that were given to him. Once he got to the nearest rooftop across from the bank he takes a moment to analyze the area for any signs of break in. Nothing seemed to had been tampered with, but using his audio sound system he could hear everything going on in a twenty mile radius. The red knight glided over to the top of the buildings glass rooftop looking down to see the group of robbers pointing their guns toward the lady at the front desk demanding to know where the safe was. Thinking rationally the red knight dashed over to the vents breaking the bolts off the latches. He quickly slid down the shaft into the walls vents down below the floors undetected.

Once he got In position the red knight waited till the robbers got close enough to where he bursted from the floor vents jumping up taking down each one of the robbers one by one in complete swiftness. He punched one of the robbers with a right hook turning blocking another before kicking him the stomach sending him sliding across the floor. Another robber went to pick up a vase tossing it at the knight, but he turned catching it breaking the vase over the bigger robbers head knocking him out cold. After taking each one of the robbers down the red knight grabbed one of the remaining robbers by the throat lifting him off the ground with one hand.

"Let me go! I'll tell you whatever you want to know!" Robber says in fear.

"What were you doing trying to rob the bank?"

" It's all apart of the bosses plan" he responds.

" Who!? Who sent you!?"

" It doesn't matter if you won't be able to stop what's soon to come knight freak" he says chuckling.

" We'll see about that" red knight says slamming the guy on the ground knocking him out conscious.

The lady behind the desk thanked the red knight for saving her as he told her to call the police immediately. Hearing the sound of screaming come from outside the red knight hurried backup to the rooftop using his grappling gun. Once he got back outside the red knight noticed someone shadow got dragged into the alley from the sidewalks. He turned his night vision mask system on seeing the women calling out for help being backed into a corner by what looked to be another robber.

" Help! Someone please help me!" She cried out as the robber demanded she be quiet.

" You are in the wrong part of town don't you think little girl" he smirks pulling out a knife as she started to shake in fear.

The robber got closer to her waving his knife back and forth swinging his arm slashing her wrist while pushing her to the ground. She stared at him with fear in her eyes crawling back against the wall. Without saying a word the knight jumped off the building gliding down to the alley where the attack was happening at. Dropping down behind the bushes in the shadows the knight creeped slowly toward the man from the side.

" Whose there? Don't come any closer or she gets it!" he says.

" Your worst nightmare."

" Ah! Get back!" He panics.

" Were you with the other robbers who just tried to rob Vita City Creek Bank?"

"It's nun of your business. So if you don't mind I'll get back to mine" he mutters as I without hesitation dashed at the guy twisting his arm slamming him up against the wall.

" Not a chance. Now talk."

Before anything else could be said a smoke bomb was dropped from the robbers pocket causing everything around to get covered in fog. As it started to clear up both the knight and girl noticed the guy was gone. The knight clenched his fist in annoyance as He walked over helping the woman up.

" Are you alright miss?"

" Yeah. I'm fine." She says.

He grabbed her hand looking at her arm as it was a cut going across her wrist.

" When did he do that?"

" I-I don't know he must have did it when he pushed me down on the ground...I didn't even feel him cut me," she explains.

The knight took a moment wrapping her wrist for her as he picked up her bag handing it to her.

" Thanks." She says looking in her bag about to close it as she noticed the robber had took her blueprint notes.

" That guy stole my lab data" she continues to say panicking.

" Lab data? Why would he had robbed you for data?"

" There were notes on chemical reactions to high and low concentrated levels of temperature. Understanding how the changing friction affects cellular structure. It's for a project I'm doing." She explains.

" Don't worry I'll find him and get it back. I wonder what he would've taken them for."

" Please I really need them." She pleads.

" Where do you do your research? It may have something to do with your cooperation. Are you a enemy of anyone's?"

" At Harold Stokes lab center just around the corner and down the street, but I only just started working there a few months go I'm still new to things" she says thinking to herself.

" Alright here. If I find anything I will let you know. Most likely this wasn't just random and you could be endangered" He say handing her a communicator.

"Thank you. What do you think they are going to do with the information?" She says.

" I'm not sure. It's not anything normal for a researcher to be robbed in the city. One think I can say is that whatever is going on I have to stop it"

" Hopefully it's nothing that serious," she says.

" It's not safe here. You should get somewhere away from here."

" Wait!? who are you?"

" I'm the Red Crusader...Most people just call me Red or Red Knight" He responded.

" I'm Jasmine. Nice to meet you" she says smiling slightly.

" Yeah. Now get out of here" He say before jumping up onto a building and dashing off into the night
