At the graveyard, Harry and Gwen stand infront Norman Osborne's graveyard, leaving flowers.

"I still can't believe he's gone. He did, so much for me."

Gwen sighs.

"I know your father meant a lot to you Harry, but he did frame you, made you think that you were the Green Goblin. He even hurt you and other people."

Harry turns to Gwen with frustration.

"He was sick. Addicted to the green, just like I was, he needed help."

Harry then grabs Gwen's hand.

"I'm just lucky I had you to get me clean. To keep me clean."

A slight smile appears on Gwen's face, still feeling guilty that all she can think about is Peter. Harry goes in for a kiss but Gwen pulls away. Before Harry could get disappointed, he gets a call from his mom.

"Hold on, I gotta take this, it's from my mom."

As Harry walks away, Gwen sighs rubbing the back of her neck, not knowing what she's doing anymore. At that moment she looks across the graveyard and sees someone in a hood standing infront of May and Ben Parkers graves. She looks closer, trying to confirm what she already knows deep down inside, that the person she's looking at is Peter Parker.

"Peter?" She says.

When Peter hears Gwen's voice, his eyes widen, but he doesn't say a word, instead just keeps his head lowered, puts his hands in his pockets, and tries to walk away. Gwen quickly chases after him, trying to talk to him.

"Peter wait! Just- talk to me, please!" Gwen yells, stopping Peter in his tracks.

The young man wants to turn around, he wants to see the girl that he loves, but he knows if he turns around, if he looks into her eyes, that he'd stay and put her in harms way, just like Aunt May.

"I'm sorry about May. I can't imagine how you're feeling. But you don't have to be alone, we can be there for you. I- can be there for you." Gwen says.

Peter still doesn't say anything.

"Peter please, say something! Say anything!" Gwen yells with tears in her eyes.

Peter grits his teeth, trying to keep his distance from Gwen, but it hurts him to do so. At that moment Harry calls out for Gwen, causing her to look away.

"It was- good- hearing your voice again, Gwen." Peter finally says.

Gwen's eyes widen, but as she turns around, Peter is gone. Gwen sighs, wiping away her tears and walking away while Peter is up in a tree, holding back tears of his own. Later, at the Stacy's home, Gwen is staring out of the living room window, sad that she couldn't get through to Peter When her dad comes into the room.

"Hey Pumpkin. Is everything ok?" George asks.

Gwen sighs as she looks up at her dad.

"No, not really. I saw Peter today, at the graveyard."

Captain Stacy is shocked when he hears this.

"How is he?" George asks, sitting next to his daughter.

Gwen lays her head on on her father's shoulder.

"He's in pain, dad. And I don't know how to help him." Gwen says.

George sighs, wrapping his arm around her and kissing her forehead.

"Right now, Peter is carrying a lot of weight on his shoulders. He wants to let someone in, but feels like he can't. Just give him some time, I'm sure he'll reach out back at you."

Gwen continues to lay on her father's shoulders, thinking to herself. Meanwhile at the Daily Bugle, J Jonah Jameson is barking orders at everyone, but then turns to Betty Brant and Frederick Foswell with a calm tone.

"Any word from the kid?" He asks.

Both Foswell and Brant shakes their heads no, all three of them disappointed by this.

"Well keep trying! And tell him that a job is waiting for him, no matter how long he needs!" Jameson says.

J.J. then picks up a picture of him and his father and mother.

"I- know how it feels to lose the people you care about."

Foswell and Brant agree, leaving Jameson alone.

"Parker, where ever you are, I just hope you let someone in." He says to himself.

After seeing Gwen at the cemetery, Spider-Man was going non-stop. He stopped muggers, car jackers, saved a kid from getting hit by a bus, and much more. As Peter lands on the roof, he can barely stay on his feet from exhaustion, dropping to one knee. Before he could rest for another minute, he hears someone crying out for help. Peter sighs, forcing himself to stand up again and swings to the scene. He gets to an alley where he sees three men cornering a woman.

"I want to see her, Talia." One of the men demand.

The woman looks at the man, trying to hide her fear.

"I have a restraining order against you, Tommy. You're not supposed to be within twenty feet of me, or Isabella." Talia says.

Tommy gets angry.

"She's my daughter too, you bitch!"

He goes for a slap but he gets webbed and thrown into trashcans. Spider-Man then lands infront of them, keeping Talia behind him.

"Run, now!" He says.

Aa Talia runs away, Tommy gets to his feet with anger in his eyes. The group of men then notices that something is wrong with the web slinger.

"He doesn't look too good, boss." One of the men points out.

Tommy grins, realizing that they might have a chance at taking down Spider-Man.

"Let's squash a bug, boys."

At that moment one of the thugs swings a crowbar at Peter, but he dodges it, grabs the man by the wrist and throws him into a wall. Another guy throws a punch that the web head catches, kicking him in the gut. While Peter is taking down most of the men, not only are they landing more and more hits, but some are getting back up, because Peter can barely put any force in his attacks. Peter throws another guy into a wall and tries to catch his breath, but that's when Tommy comes up from behind him and pulls out a gun. He aims it at Peter, and pulls the trigger, shocking the young hero. Peter looks down and sees that he shot him in the side. Spider-Man slowly turns around, clutching his side but still ready to fight. That's when sirens are heard and the group of men quickly run away. Peter tries to chase after them, but he's in too much pain and loosing too much blood. He quickly webs his side, keeping himself from loosing anymore blood.

"Have- to keep- moving." Peter thinks to himself as he tries to walk.

The hero then passes out in the alley, as a police car pulls up across from him.
