Ideal Belly
while i like the novel, i am not going to waste my coins. over the past few months i have often looked forward to a translated novel, but i basically always end up disappointed. He/she are ALWAYS confused, sentences are weird, and there is no logic to the chapter, or weird logic is applied. i find that reading the original with machine translation can give a better reading experience than these translations, which is just sad. sometimes it just turns out the novel is weird, but then why choose to translate it? i read till chapter 20 and just cannot continue. out of nowhere whe goes from lying on her bed and dying to her original rich parents. then out of nowhere she goes from weak/malnourished to using 10% of her strength to disable a soldier. she rescues a grandma on the road, that grandma FRACTURES her TAILBONE, yes you read that right, but then the very same day grandma is shopping at Dior, discussing the rescue. Overall i don't think the novel is bad bad, but just close your mind, cause it will consume your braincells
40 chapters in and it's a little weak. I am just not emphasizing with the wronged child theme of the story. So far her family has been mildly annoying, no worse than most random families you might see in the real world and for this type of novel other heroines would tell her "Cry Me A River!!". The MC has a Mary Sue vibe going, but it's just not done well. How many times can you read that she ran/invented whatever in her second life? Conflict situations also aren't handled well. There's the usual accused of cheating scenario but it just deflates with very little tension. Bottom line there's much better in the genre.
2/10The concept is stupid. She supposedly transmigrated to a world 1000 years in the future, then died and reincarnated again on Earth. This is fine, but somehow she knows a lot of things that she really shouldn't:- She has incredible memory because of something they did in the future with education. What? Are they able to modify souls?- She is an incredible hacker. How? Even if she was an incredible hacker in the future, the programming languages, the software and the hardware would be completely different, so she should relearn everything again. Also what does hacking have to do with being a scientist?- She is an amazing Chinese doctor. How, why? 1000 years in the future they use Chinese medicine instead of having advanced technological devices that heal everyone automatically? Also what does being a doctor have to do with being a scientist?- She knows how to use the equipment in a scientific lab. Even if she was an incredible scientist the equipment would be completely different. And I doubt she would immediately be an amazing scientist again after the transmigration, since she wouldn't have the advanced equipment, theory and other stuff that were there 1000 years in the future. For example even if you knew how to build an entire computer from 0, would you be able to do that 1000 years ago without any modern equipment and probably without the materials needed?- Why is she amazing at fighting? What does fighting have to do with being a scientist?- She's also good at driving. How? Why? In 1000 years you'd think they don't have cars, and even if there are cars they would be automated so she shouldn't be able to drive well.Everything could have been resolved by making her not know many things but being able to learn stuff really fast.Everything aside from Chinese medicine. I hate that part. It has been used so many times and it's always stupid and boring. Entire chapters with nothing but the FL sticking some needles in the body, mix a couple herbs like we did when we were kids with grass and they are able to bring the dead to life. Also based on a comment I read, in the first 190 she's also a game developer, actress, singer, businesswoman, artist, historian and she's involved in the military.WTF.
