Yeah but prize money isn't
This is the problem with not dealing with such people quickly. They just need to get lucky once and you're screwed. It's especially true with a kamikaze like Su Fei.
I really wanted to enjoy this story but it killed itself. The story starts relatively strong. Good level of family conflict truly annoying white lotus/ worm tongue of a fake daughter. That persists for the first few hundred chapters (they are very short). Then the story just derails. The author or authors just seemed think they want to go a couple thousand chapters or more so they just started putting in side quests and distractions all over the place that do nothing to move the story forward and are fundamentally uninteresting.

He is cannon fodder.

You see this is what happens when you listen to what people tell you (Looks over at crying Rachel Maddow and Don (a black hole swallowed the airliner) Lemon)
Another one has sealed their own fate.
Really which life is he talking about?
Business people don't like to let themselves be robbed.

What is with it the chinese and knockoffs? You know what the difference between a dress sold in Woolworths (Today that would be walmart for the youngsters), one sold in Macy's, Nieman Marcus or B Altman's? NOTHING EXCEPT THE PRICE. They all came off the same production line, and then were randomly stored on the same dress racks. Oh well it's not like the people who think they can taste super premium distilled spirits. (Hint buy a brita and run it through the filter)
Zero scores plus a stupid and petty teacher that won't acknowledge when they are wrong.
