Chapter 33: Grey skin, green skin and the impregnating octopus.

"Mr. Collins please come with us, we have to get you to safety!" One of the guards from Reddot said.

Kevin followed them while looking back trying to figure out what was going on.

The guards were leading him inside, towards a safety room, when they reached a place where the halls were empty with no cameras, Kevin just turned around. The world seemed to stand still as he ran back out, disappearing before anyone else could notice.

As he ran, he pushed open his shirt, revealing the "S" on his chest.

When he arrived outside, he flew upwards to get a better look.

All of it happened in a blink of an eye.

When he reached high enough altitude, he looked down. That's when he saw Captain marvel Fighting a hulk looking beast. No, this one was slightly different, it looked like a combination of the Hulk and doomsday.

Their fight had taken place right between Manhattan and Queens, bringing destruction to both boroughs.

Superman saw that many people had been harmed, the streets and buildings were damaged as well. Lots of people shouting for help as they were hurt or trapped. Superman frowned at this.

'Why is he so durable!" Captain Marvel thought as she fought the abomination. Their fight had lasted longer than she thought it would, as the beast was way stronger than she had counted for.

As their fists met once again creating chaos, both flew apart, and before they could once again attack each other again, a man landed straight from the sky, in between them. He landed on his knees looking down, his white cape fluttering in the wind.

When the dust settled and the people in need of help saw who had come, their hearts started to fill with hope.

"It's Superman!" One woman shouted from the inside of an upside down car.

"We're safe!" Another exclaimed.

People started to cheer and shout for help as Superman had arrived.

Even though Captain Marvel only saw his back, as he was turned towards the abomination, she knew exactly who it was, after all, she recognized that back very well, or rather, her fists did.

"Don't you know that you should always take these kinds of fights away from the city?" Superman said as he turned slightly backwards looking at Captain Marvel with a frown.

Then as the abomination was further angered and roared, Superman flashed before abomination and gave him an uppercut, shutting his mouth mid roar, so hard that abomination flew straight upwards high above the clouds.

"Take the fight somewhere else, I'll stay here and help the people!" Superman commanded Captain Marvel as he started helping the citizen.

Captain Marvel didn't like his attitude but she couldn't deny that he was right. So she took to the skies and brought the airborne abomination to another location.

Superman saw that a woman was trapped in an upside down car so he flew towards it. Landed near it and simply ripped the door from it, as if he was ripping a toilet paper in half.

The woman crawled out crying her thanks. She had thought that she would die for sure as those two fought.

Superman looked around and saw that many people were under the debris and wreckage of fallen buildings.

He helped all the people that needed it, the fire trucks and ambulance couldn't reach most places as the streets were destroyed, so he blew out fires as well.

He was ready to fly away about 15 minutes later as this was a delicate job. If he carried rubble too fast, the rest of the debris might fall down and kill the people under it, so he had to take his time.

As his feet left the ground and he set out to help Captain Marvel in her fight, the people surrounded him shouting his name and thanks.

Superman looked down as he flew up, and answered them with a smile, He was genuinely glad that they survived.

The people were stunned at this sight, Superman with the sun above him as he flew up with the brightest of smiles.

When he had flown away, a youth looked down on his phone at the video he had captured. "This will surely trend." he whispered.

Superman flew up and listening after the sound of a great fight, it didn't take long to find it.

Captain Marvel looked at the abomination as he laid on the ground with broken ribs and arms. She couldn't hit hard in the city but here she let loose a bit more, but this thing kept healing his body.

She saw that his body parts slowly healed back to their original state, and she got ready to pummel him again.

Superman landed near them.

"You have to be more decisive!" He said as he walked forward slightly pushing her from his way.

He bent to one knee above the abominations body, took abominations shin in one palm and the back of his head in the other.

Turning both hands in opposite directions with such a force that the big, grey, head flew hundreds of meters upwards.

"I know what it means to fight at our level. Normally a simple weak punch is enough to kill 99.99 percent of the foes we fight against. That's why you have to constantly remind yourself to treat enemies like these as time bombs. If you don't, you'll regret it, like today, 29 people died unnecessarily." He said standing up and looking at her with blood on his hand that had spurted from abominations neck.

Then he flew away.

Captain Marvel just stood there looking at the headless abomination on the ground. He was right and she knew it, she could've taken the fight elsewhere, and she was strong enough to fight with lethality. Usually she fought without intent to kill because most of her enemies died anyways, but she has to learn to differentiate between such enemies.

She was awoken from her thoughts when she heard the head of abomination finally reached the ground, near her.

For people like them, most enemies were like ants, They could simply squeeze them, so it's easy to forget when to get serious, when to use lethal force and when to go for the kill directly.

As for other enemies, they might be too strong to instantly kill, they have to tire each other out, hurt each other before the other person gets sloppy enough, to go for the kill.

Superman had learnt all of these through his experience during the last 3-4 years. He had to learn to control his strength, if he stepped too hard, New York would be destroyed.

Missing his mum's food, Kevin flew home to his parents place and found his parents in the living room, speaking in front of a whiteboard, they had made a cons and pros list.

"This time we learnt from our mistakes with Kevin, he became too righteous and upstanding!"

"You're right Papa bear, I mean as an alien shouldn't he try to conquer the earth, at least a little bit?"Mama bear made her disappointments known.

"Or eat people?" Papa bear added.

"Or impregnate half the planet so this world becomes full of green aliens? Mama bear said in excitement at having grandchildren.

"Or at least be green himself?! What kind of alien is not green?" Papa bear said in frustration.

"And he never lets us play with his spaceship!" Both bears cried out hugging each other, it was then that they noticed someone else's presence.

As soon as they saw him, they hurriedly hid the whiteboard with a blanket from the nearest couch.

"Son welcome home, we didn't expect you here." His dad said with a drop of sweat tinkling down his forehead. He seemed nervous for some reason.

"My little green honeypot how can we help you? are you hungry, let's go to the kitchen and get your green stomach something to eat!" She spoke very fast as if she wanted him out of the room.

As she pushed him out she looked back nodding at Papa bear, hinting to him to hide all evidence.

Kevin just allowed her to push him out, he had seen what was on the whiteboard and he really didn't want to know more.

It said:

"Should we clone our alien son, and make him green this time?

pros and cons:

Cons:

-Might, maybe make Kevin sad.

Pros:

-Finally a green alien

-Another alien in our house.

-We could raise it to eat people

-We could film it doing alien things and then putting it on iTube so others can join our cause"

- We could make it a female then teach it seduction techniques so it takes Kevins flower, then pops out a few grandchildren!

-We could teach it politics and make it the next president.

-Everything is a con."

'Dad, mom why do you have to be so extra' Kevin though as he ate his mum's delicious food.

His mom turned on the TV, and the news were on, talking about how Superman had saved the day and helped hundreds of people survival a disaster in New York.

Seeing this, his mother turned to him with a smile and said "What a handsome son I have, he is so righteous and upstanding, I couldn't wish for anything else!"
