Need Help?!

It's been a few days since I checked into this hotel. Recently I've had no luck finding a bodyguard job, guess Kyle was a special case. I was luckily able to sell those diamonds to a jewel store, seemed a little sketchy but I got money that's all I'm worried about. With nothing on the job side, I've just been relaxing in my hotel room, occasionally going out to explore.

I also talked for a moment on the communication line with APD-01, but I think he went his processor went a little haywire. He kept talking about freedom and the termination of organic beings, I hung up after he started laughing with that rusty mechanical voice. Some reason I feel like there will be a pain in the ass situation when I get back up there.

I don't think I'll be staying on this planet that much longer. I did some searching on the internet using the hotels public computers, and looked into some things. Found out the world is mostly peaceful, with many of the fun things banned such as: Warrior tournaments, fighting, dueling. There are few things called extreme sports, but none of that can compare to some of the crazy things I've done in space, like using my fighter to slingshot around a planet.

There isn't too much on this planet that can truly move my adventurous spirit, so I'll probably only stay for another week or two. I'll buy some souvenirs then head out, back into the big grand galaxy.

Just when I was getting ready to look on the internet for some food that delivers to me, I heard a knock on my door.

Thud, thud,thud,thud,thud

In quick succession they knocks came, I walked to the door while wondering who it could be as I had yet to even order my food.

I open in the door, only to quickly close it again. I then proceed to start packing my things. Looks like that week is up and time to head home. I guess I could use my swords to climb down the outside of the building.

"Hey, don't close the door on me. I have something important to ask of you. Come back please!" Persisted a young women voice, that could be no other than Sarah Lakes; the interrogator.

As I open the door I ask "what do you want?" I try to seem as annoyed as possible, hoping she catches on that I don't want to go through another session of "that".

Of course she ignores my plea and continues on.

"I need your help! Your a bodyguard right, I need you to protect me!" She quickly states with urgency in her voice.

"And what could possibly coming after you that you need my protection from? If it's a simple fight with a boyfriend, then count me out."

"No I don't have one, it's actually something that's a big problem. You see the other day I was shopping and I happened to notice a suspicious bright blue colored box with a ribbon on top in an alleyway. I was curious so I opened it up , and saw about 50 thousand dollars of cash in there with a bunch of disturbing pictures also inside. I quickly left the area and went to the police, but before I got there a thug stood in my way. He just said that "since you've seen the box, the "Blood Falcons" are coming after you!". I need your protection, please!!" As she was talking I quickly pulled her into the room, and also notice she started crying while explaining the entire fiasco she got herself involved with.

I knew that next level curiosity she had would get her into trouble but why did it have to happen while I'm still here!

" I would love to help, but I'm already preparing to leave soon so I can't take a long term job." Is what I honestly replied, I would like the action but I already decided to leave this planet so I don't want to take a job that has no known ending point.

"That's fine, take me with you to wherever your going!" She passionately and urgently declares to me.

"Fine, but I'll only protect you until we reach Blue Ridge, Georgia. Once there, we will separate and you'll have to find your own protection." Sighing as I made that decision. Even though I'll have deal with her talkative personality, at least I can end off with some fun action.

With my mind made up I quickly grabbed her and took her to the first floor.

"My car is parked in the underground parking lot, we can take it."

"We ain't taking that junk, we are taking my car."

"Your car?"

I didn't bother to say anything as i brought her out the front door. I picked a nice sports car that was waiting out front, quickly got in and got wired the car. I realized that hot wiring these cars are a lot easier than hot wiring Fighter ships.

"This ain't your car, your stealing it!" She angrily yells at me.

"Well it's mine now, isn't it!"

Once I finished hot wiring the vehicle, I started it up and drove it out onto the main road heading aback towards Blue Ridge.

While I'm driving, I sneak a look over at her only to notice that she is still sniffling and crying quietly. I guess for someone that has never known any danger like this is having a hard time cope, she was smart coming to me first instead of heading home where she could indanger her family by leading the thugs to her home.

Well my job is just to protect her and not be emotional support, so I'll leave it to her to find her own mental strength and ability to cope with her new found problems. Let's just focus on driving for now.

Last one for today guys! Hope you enjoy the first major action scene coming up later.
