Chapter 13

Right after Nathaniel clicked on the lightning bolt symbol on the bracelet in order to shut the alarm down but that didn't happen instead, a holographic silhouette of a woman was projected from the bracelet and it introduced itself as Nathaniel's personal assistant and also the A.I of the suit which shocked him.

"System, why didn't you tell me that you added an A.I to the suit that you gave me?"

Nathaniel instead of thinking about how the suit had an A.I and didn't know about it decided to ask the system but the system's answer confused him.

[DING: I didn't make the suit, host.]

"Huh?! You didn't make the suit then who did and weren't you the one who gave it to me as a gift?"

["The suit and I were created by you, Mr Allen."]

Nathaniel's confused questions weren't answered by the system no instead the A.I answered the question which made Nathaniel surprised but not as much as he was when the system told him she wasn't the one who made the suit and after a few minutes of thinking about it he figured out that his future self built it and stored into the system so it can give it to him when he awakens it.

"SIGH! So what was the alarm for?"

["That was a signal to inform you of an ongoing crime."]

"Huh! Why would I care about that?"

["The current you may not know but the world isn't going to be the same as it was before. After the particle accelerator exploded, people who were affected by it and had their DNA altered by the dark matter that affected them will start to manifest different kinds of abilities and some of these people used them for evil. In the year 2020 from the original timeline, after the particle accelerator exploded you and your brother Barry Allen were struck by lightning and given the abilities of the speed force. You two used your powers to protect the citizens of Central City and later the entire multivarse from certain doom."]

The A.I explained as she brought up a holographic newspaper article that had a picture of him in his suit while standing beside him was another man in a red suit. In the newspaper Nathaniel had the name Godspeed written underneath him while the other speedster who is Barry had the name Flash underneath him.

Nathaniel became stunned when he heard the A.I's explanation and also seeing the newspaper article. Nathaniel didn't know what to say for a while until a question came to his mind and decided to ask the A.I since the system won't answer him.

"In the future, did Barry and I have enemies who were speedsters and if we did what are their names?"

Nathaniel asked this question because he thought he could figure out something about Harrison Wells if he knew what name he has.

["You and Barry indeed have many enemies and among these enemies, there were two very prominent ones. Barry had his arch nemesis, Reverse Flash while you on the other hand had Phamtom. A very powerful speedster who was almost as fast as you and he comes from another universe in the multiverse."]

"Wait, what?!"

The holographic newspaper article that showed him and Barry changed and another two speedsters appeared. One of the speedsters was wearing a yellow suit with the name Reverse Flash under it while the other was wearing the same suit as Nathaniel but the colour is dark black with a white and black lightning bolt symbol on his chest and the name Phantom was under it. Hearing that his arch nemesis is from another universe shocked Nathaniel silly as he stared at the holographic silhouette of the A.I with a dumbfounded expression.

["Sir, you don't have time to stand around when there are lives at risk. I will explain everything to you later but now you should focus on saving lives."]

Nathaniel who was expecting the A.I to give answers to clear up his shock and confusion instead received something else from the A.I. The A.I brought up a holographic interface map of the city and located where the crime is being conducted with a red dot and from the mark on the map, Nathaniel knew that it was downtown.

So with the location in mind, Nathaniel suited up and headed for the area at his modest speed of Mach 2.

BANG!

BOOM!!

When Nathaniel got to the area he saw that it was a full-on battle between the cops and the local gangsters. The cops were hiding behind their cars and shooting at the gangsters while the gang members were hiding in a building and were also howling bullets at the cops from the building.

"A fight between the cops and the Darbinyan crime family."

Nathaniel used his Temporal dilution to slow down his perception of time to almost a standstill which made him able to analyze the situation without wasting much time.

Nathaniel's first move after he was done accessing the situation was to take the civilians that were caught up in the shooting to a safe place before he started collecting all the stray bullets from the cops and the gangster, after he was done with that he took handcuffs from the police and handcuffed the gangster before taking their guns away and brought them to them out of the one after the other.

Nathaniel also didn't forget to unload the guns of the police so they don't shoot at the gangsters when they suddenly see them in from of them before he left the scene like a Phantom.

"Somebody help... What?!"

"What's going on?!"

"What just happened?!"

Shock and confusion were what the people in the area had when they realized that some things were not as they should have been and the people who were the most shocked of them all were the people who had their position changed and also had their things taken away.

Meanwhile, the person responsible for that act was now standing at the top of an apartment complex looking at their reaction with a smile on his face especially when he saw the look of shock on the criminals' faces.

"Services them right."

Nathaniel dashed off towards his house after he said that.

DING! DONG!!

["You should get that"]

Currently, Nathaniel was sitting in the living room of his house watching tv when the doorbell suddenly sounded in the room and right the A.I told him to go and open the door.

"Why should I?"

["You will understand when you open the door.]

'If this is something the A.I know about it then it must have something to do with me in one way or another.]

Nathaniel thought to himself before heading for the door and opened it when he got there only to see a delivery man standing at the door.

"Yes, how may I help you?"

"I'm to deliver a mail to Mr Allen."

"I'm Mr Allen, what do you have for me."

"Nothing much, just a package. Here it is and can you please sign here for me."

The delivery guy presented Nathaniel with a small box that had the 'From F. Nathaniel to you' on it. Nathaniel knew immediately that the package was sent to him by his future self so he quickly sighed for it and took inside but before he could open it, his phone started ringing.

RINGING!!

"An unknown caller?!"

["Answer the call."]

When Nathaniel took out his phone from his pocket and saw that the caller ID was unknown he has the system and just like he was expecting, she told him to answer the call.

"Hello! This is Nathaniel speaking, who is it?"

"Hello, Mr Allen. I'm Dr Christina McGee, the head of Mercury Labs and I'm calling you to inform you that I will be expecting you tomorrow to sign some documents. Further discussion will happen when you come tomorrow, have a good day."

"....?!"

Nathaniel became confused when he heard the name of the woman but he became surprised when she said something about him signing some documents tomorrow.

"Alexia?!"

["I advise you to open the package to clear up your current unanswered questions"]
