The house

Upon awakening, I was greeted by the soft glow of the sunlight blanketing the room. Methodically, I stretched and exited my bed, ensuring to neatly restore its appearance. My next course of action was to freshen up, hence I gravitated towards the bathroom.

As I neared the sink, my attention was drawn to a toothbrush which had a paper attachment bearing my name; Reo. It dawned on me that its purpose was for my dental health. Subsequently, I applied a generous amount of toothpaste onto the toothbrush and esteemed its given instruction for an optimal tooth cleansing session.

Sporting a refreshed state, I ventured downstairs into the well-kept kitchen. To my astonishment, a prepared breakfast was waiting for me. The spread included eggs, pancakes, and a serving of hot tea. I deduced that John and Sonia must still be in the vicinity. Pleasing my palate with the tasty meal, I concluded it with a proper handwash.

Subsequently, I chose to acquaint myself with the house. I perambulated through the premises, grasping the floor plan and recognizing the varieties of the rooms. Within the living room, my attention was drawn by toys strewn across the carpet. A doll, along with a chaise in hues of blue and black, and a coordinated chair resided on the right side. On the opposing side, an admirable library stacked methodically on a bookcase was displayed.

When I stepped outside, I was greeted by a tight-knit community where everyone was familiar with each other. This strong sense of camaraderie rendered it a secure and agreeable dwelling place.

Upon surveying the room, I unexpectedly overheard a discussion unfolding between John and Sonia. John was expressing his concern about Sonia leaving Amelia unattended. Offering an explanation, Sonia shared that she had left Amelia under the supervision of their neighbor, Miss Vern, due to an urgent workplace issue which she had to address. Seemingly, Miss Vern had departed upon John's arrival.

Transitioning to a more solemn appearance, Sonia posed a query to John regarding his action plan for aiding Reo. In his reply, John shared his aim to assist Reo in recovering his lost memories, with the hopes that a catalyst might be discovered. John also considered the possibility of a missing person search being initiated by Reo's family. Despite this, there was no one in their local community reported missing or actively seeking a lost child. In a less desirable scenario, Reo might be from distant parts such as the thriving coal city or even the more ominous Lukeburg City.

As the conversation concluded, Sonia acknowledged John's plans with a simple "Okay". Subsequently, she gathered her handbag and exited the dwelling to attend to her work responsibilities.
