Who is he?

Alice and Kira walked down the school hallway. It was close to the end of the school day and they had a free class. They each held a drink, it was a new addition to the school cafeteria, a strawberry smoothie.

Taking a sip, Alice spoke, "We won't be training in building D today since Noah's out for the school competition. Are you doing anything later?"

"My Martial arts teacher knows the instructor of the MMA club, she asked me to substitute for him until he comes back from a trip. So I'll have to go to the MMA club after school from now on." Kira answered. Her instructor wanted her to improve by teaching other people.

"You won't train with us?" Alice sulked.

"You already have Noah, I'm sure you don't want me third wheel on your time together." Kira joked.

"We don't mind... fine I can't speak for Noah, at least I don't mind," Alice answered, looking at Kira with big eyes. She liked having Kira around when they trained.

"I'm kidding, I'll come after the MMA club ends, you guys stay pretty late so I'll be able to come near the end of the training session." Kira soothed the cute Alice.

"Yes!" Alice then stopped and looked at the restroom door they had reached. "Can you hold this for a second? I need to go."

Kira held the smoothie as Alice entered the restroom. She looked around to see the hallway empty, the school was quite big and this part didn't have as many people.

She leaned back, near the wall. This part of the building was open to the outside, it didn't have any windows, just a short wall that extended up enough to stop people from falling.

Kira put Alice and here's smoothie onto the flat wall. She stretched her arms as she covered her mouth from yawning. She had barely gotten any sleep after getting back from the Eternal Battlefield, she ended up spending the night researching about it as much as she could.

She turned around to look outside. One person was walking by, wearing a sports jersey holding a large bag.

Kira looked at him. The boy had dark brown hair and eyes, sharp features and a toned body, she thought he looked kind of handsome, he wasn't close to Noah in looks, but Noah was basically another species.

His looks didn't interest her rather the way he walked and how his body was built, she could tell he had trained in martial arts for a long time.

The boy that was walking was Vince. He was walking to the MMA club in building C, then he stopped hearing a meow, looking for the source of the sound he found a kitten in a bush, directly under the place Kira was standing. Its feet were tangled in some rope and a branch of a bush.

He came close pushing the bushes aside and helped untangle the kitten.

Kira hadn't noticed the Kitten before, so seeing him help it and improved her opinion of him further. A smile formed across her unconsciously seeing the act of kindness.

A breeze passed by her going through her short hair. It was strong enough to unbalance the smoothie on the wall, it started shaking and fell off.

Kira reached her hands out and caught Alice's, while the other fell.

Vince also felt the strong breeze and looked up after untangling the kitten. He saw a plastic cup filled with a thick pink liquid fall directly onto him. Plop! The cup landed on his face with the cover already off. The pink liquid emptied out onto him.

Kira with her body over the wall holding the saved cup pushed herself over the half wall and stood up. She then ran down a nearby stairway to the ground floor and ran to Vince.

"I'm sorry, are you okay?"

Vince wiping the strawberry liquid off from his face using the selves of his already dirty shirt.

"It's fine, I needed to change my clothe," Vince said looking away. After clearing the liquid off his face.

Vince had a look at Kira and was dazed by her appearance. An angel stood in front of him. Her delicate features, soft voice, ruby eyes and look of concern, his heart was stolen. His heart began to race as he saw Kira come closer.

"I'll compensate, who should I send the money to?" Kira took out her phone asking.

"No, no, no you don't need to pay for anything. See you later." His heart thumping hard, he wanted to stay and talk, but he was covered in a strawberry smoothie. Getting out of the situation was the best he could think of, he needed to get to the MMA club anyway.

"At least let me pay for dry cleaning..."

Kira watched him leave, she looked at where the smoothie fell and saw the kitten was fine. It had come back to taste the strawberry smoothie.

She went forward and picked up the cup and threw it in a bin as she walked back up the stairs.

Alice walked out and saw Kira holding one cup now.

"Did you finish drinking yours already?"

"I spilt it," Kira answered simply.

"Should we go buy another one?" Alice asked drinking hers. She didn't know where Kira spilt it but she had probably already dealt with it.

"No, I'm fine. I have to leave soon for the MMA club."

...

Kira changed into her martial arts uniform. Trying the Black belt around her waist she thought of the guy she dropped the smoothie on. She had to find him and repay him.

She then walked out, of the changing room, and entered the large training hall. In the hall, a group of both boys and girls were standing around and talking. They all saw her and stood up. They didn't know who she was but they were all intimidated for some reason.

"Are all of you here?" Kira asked as she scanned the group.

Someone came forward, "Vince hasn't arrived yet."

"You, what's the time." Kira randomly pointed at someone and asked. The boy looked at the clock behind Kira and said "2:15 PM."

"When does your lesson start?"

"2:15 PM."

Kira nodded then looked at the students with sharp eyes, "The person who has not arrived will be excluded from training today, any question?"

No one said anything. This was a rule set by their main instructor so they were all used to arriving ahead of time. As for Vince, they could only pity him.

"You go lock the door." Kira pointed at someone in the back.

The boy nodded and walked to the door, he looked outside and saw Vince running, "Vince is coming should I still lock it. "

"Lock it," Kira said coldly, she didn't know who Vince was and didn't care, she was just following the rules she was given. To her discipline was everything.

The boy couldn't do anything and locked the door.

Outside Vince was springing for his life towards the door seeing it close, the door was locked just as he reached. His body slammed into it.

"Dame it!" He knocked and tried to open it, "Please let me in."

No one responded, he was being ignored. Kira started her lesson. She had been given a hole lesson plan and goals she had to complete before the instructor returned from his trip.

"I'm Kira Lancer, I will be your substitute instructor for a while." She loudly spoke as she walked.

...

Vince outside saw that no one was answering fell to the ground, he had to spend extra time to wash the smoothie out from his hair. Even now he still had the strawberry scent on him. His entire clothes were a mess since he wore them in a rush.

He took out his phone and messaged the instructor about letting him in. He received a response.

"I'm not teaching class today, I have had someone to replace me, it is their dicision to let you in or not."

"Damn it." Vince sat waiting, missing a lesson wasn't a big deal but he was the head of the MMA club and had already used the days he could take off to participate in other activities. If he missed today, he would be on thin ice and had a chance of losing his recommendation. He would need to convince the substitute instructor to give him his attendance.

...

The class ended and the door opened, students walked out seeing Vince, greeting him as they left. Vince said a quick hello and walked in, he saw the back of the substitute instructor.

"Hello instructor, I'm Vince, I have a reason-"

Kira turned around to look at who was talking, it was the boy she had dropped the smoothie on, 'Oh, that was why he was late.'

Vince paused for a moment, it was the angel that dropped the smoothie on him in the first place. He stuttered not knowing what to say.

"You missed today's lesson, don't miss tomorrow's, make sure to come early." Kira was currently in instructor mode, she couldn't be partial to any of her students.

Vince instinctively nodded and just watched Kira leave. His jaw then dropped, how did the smoothie angel become his instructor. Plus she acted like she didn't have any responsibility for him being late. Where did that kind-looking girl who wanted to repay him go?
