Mana, or perhaps many people know it as magic energy, is a form of energy that exists throughout the universe, a primordial energy that has composed the universe.

Humans, animals, and plants also have a certain amount of mana in their bodies, the amount of which will depend on several factors, such as luck or genetics.

The magic used by magicians uses mana as fuel.

The important thing to know is that mana is a very important aspect for every magician. Because of mana, they can do things that humans might not normally do. Often, mana is used to activate various magic spells and arrays of magic circles. This energy naturally exists everywhere, and the thickness of mana is sometimes affected by several things, such as treasures, mana beasts, and precious minerals.

The presence of mana in every human does not mean that they can use magic, it is common knowledge that everyone who has mana can use magic to some extent.

Although it was very weak, it was not even meaningful.

According to some magician families, humans can be divided into two groups, the first group is someone talented at using magic, while the second group is trash. It sounds cruel, but that's exactly what happens in the real world, those who are strong will be appreciated and praised.

On the other hand, the weak would simply be oppressed and treated like trash worthy of being used at the whim of a tyrannical ruler.

That's the conclusion Bruce got about mana. All the musings above are the result of reading several novels with fantasy themes. An easy way to understand it is that if you have mana, you can use magic, but if you don't have it, then forget your dream of being able to throw fireballs at your enemies.

Although there is no mana, there are several ways to become a magician. For example, there are magicians in the Marvel Universe. Kamar-Taj is an assembly of people who use the mystical power of cosmic beings. In the presence of batteries from cosmic creatures, they can do anything, such as teleportation, space mirrors, and many other magics.

Since arriving in this world, Bruce has discovered the existence of mana, both within himself and in the atmosphere around him.

The amount of mana in the world is thin.

So you can be sure that where he is now is not as peaceful as it seems. There may be secret societies or monsters moving in the shadows of the world.

"My understanding of mana should be enough for practical activities, references from some of these fantasy books are very good," Bruce said while sipping coffee.

"Coffee is the best. If I'm not mistaken, the name of this drink is caffe-"

"Caffe latte, caffe mocha, cappuccino! Des! " Ayana suddenly appeared like a ninja beside him, her eyes twinkling as she said the phrase.

Bruce was confused to see her, why was she acting so excited?

Ayana is a part-time employee here, she said she was one of the students who attended Toyogasaki Academy. Because she likes anime, she works at old man Hajime's book cafe, which doesn't have many customers.

You know the reason why.

Bruce has been consulting with Ayana about what books to read and what is good to read, and the results did not disappoint.

"Ahh, since you're here now, I have a few questions for you " Bruce caught her hand and forced Ayana to sit on the empty seat beside him.

"Ehh... ehhh! Bruce-san, Bruce-san. What's wrong?" she said it in a timid tone.

"If you had mana, what cultivation method would you choose?" asked Bruce with a hint of seriousness in his tone.

"Number one, there is the mana circle method, making a circle out of mana and placing it around the mage's heart."

"Number two, there is the mana core method, making a mana battery in a mage's body."

"Or the third, who doesn't rely on any cultivation methods, just manipulating the mana around the mage," Bruce walked behind Ayana.

"Think carefully, it concerns the safety of the world," he said as he patted the girl on the shoulder.

"Hiiiii... circle… " she said with a small voice and a red face from embarrassment.

"Huh? Harder, or I'll kiss you," Bruce threatened the schoolgirl.

No, little girls are not his taste.

Bruce still doesn't want to make enemies with the FBI between dimensions, for now.

"Mana circle!" she shouted.

It made the customers in the cafe look at the girl with displeasure, Bruce made a challenging expression while staring at all the customers. He is ready to take down anyone who comes forward, whose future is at stake here, and who cares about their miserable fucking lives.

After seeing that no one was making trouble, he turned his gaze back to Ayana.

"Mana circle? Hmm, why did you choose that?" Bruce walked back to his chair, sipping his coffee.

"Because that method is often featured in the manga I read."

"That's right, and this method increases the effectiveness of magic and its damage to a much higher level than the original." relieved to see Bruce take it off, Ayana explained the reason calmly.

"Is that so? It's interesting, but how would mana circles work in a world without mana sources?"

"I had read there are several methods that can eliminate the circle, " Bruce asked back.

He didn't lie, there were some shortcomings to the mana circle method. One of them was that it was difficult to function in a world without mana, because the mana circle he read about was just a wild pool of mana channeling into the body of a mage.

"That... that is problematic. That method is indeed less effective in a world without mana because it will only weaken."

"But there can't be a mage in the world without mana, right?" she recognized the correctness of Bruce's opinion.

But she was a little hesitant about the last thing Bruce alluded to.

"Who knows? Maybe I'm a mage that you doubt exists."

"Well, what about the mana core method? Although the process is a bit long and a little dangerous, it is quite effective for magicians who are in a world without mana." Bruce smiled slightly and openly admitted his identity as a mage.

"You're really funny, Bruce-san, impossible for a mage to just divulge his identity in public like this." Ayana laughed at Bruce's stupidity while looking at the people around me.

"Your opinion is not wrong. But the risk for this method to fail is very high, it will explode and have to be repeated from the beginning," she said with her eyes closed.

Tell me if there is any grammar that is wrong or inappropriate
