Chapter 49

After defeating the Dodongo King and getting on the blue teleport circle, Link, Hope, and Morgan suddenly appeared just outside the Dodongo Cavern in a flash of blue light.

The trio smiled, but then Morgan and Hope sensed someone coming down towards their location, luckily for this person, the girls sensed who it was, otherwise, this person would have been blasted apart by Hope or Morgan.

But knowing who was coming to greet them, made Morgan and Hope just push Link back a bit, and Darunia suddenly dropped from the sky really close to the kids.

Link gasped in surprise, while Morgan and Hope just watched on, as Darunia stood up and smiled "It's me Darunia! Well done with clearing Dodongo's cavern!".

The Goron boss gave the kids a few head pats for a job well done, though Link being just a normal Hylian, was pushed down to the ground by Darunia's strength, Morgan and Hope hardly moved though, and smiled at Darunia.

The Goron Boss ignored the fact that Link was now on the ground groaning in pain and twitching, he just continued excitedly speaking "Thanks to the three of you, we can once again eat the delicious rocks from Dodongo's cavern until our stomachs burst!".

Darunia beat his chest in excitement and then grinned at the kids "What a wild adventure! it will make an incredible story... I can't believe the Dodongos suddenly appeared in such great numbers! And that big rock blocking the cave...

All of this trouble must have been caused by the Gerudo thief, Ganondorf! He said 'Give me the Spiritual Stone! Only then will I open the cave for you!".

The kid frowned at the mention of Ganondorf, Hope looked down and glared at the ground "Him again... first the Great Deku Tree and now the Gorons, I bet he did something where the last stone is too, and were going to have to fix things".

Morgan nodded but seemed rather annoyed now "When I get the chance, I'm going to punch that guy in the face".

Link sweatdropped and couldn't help but to feel a little bad for Ganondorf, he has seen how hard Morgan can hit and no one could take a punch from her unharmed, she is capable of pulverizing stone after all.

Darunia chuckled at Morgan's comment and then went on "Ganondorf tried to force us to give him the Goron's Ruby, but you three, risked your lives for us... I like you kids! How about you three become my sworn brothers?".

Morgan sighed "Again? We're girls you know?".

Hope nodded in agreement, but Darunia ignored the girl's complaints and went on to explain "There's no big ceremony involved! Just take this as a token of our friendship!".

Hope and Morgan pouted at being ignored, while Darunia raised his hands and summoned a red light to appear above him, Link slowly stood up and shook his head as he watched the red light grow and glow brighter.

Until the light suddenly flashed and the Goron's Ruby was revealed, Link raised his hands and received the red floating Spiritual Stone with a smile on his face.

Darunia smiled and said, "Brothers! You'll keep brushing up on your skills as you travel, won't you?".

Link nodded, he had planned to train some time with Morgan and Hope and learned a few new skills before heading to the next stone, Darunia smiled and then pointed at the top of Death Mountain "You should go see the Great Fairy on top of Death Mountain! She will power you up!".

Darunia then clapped and suddenly yelled out "Hey everyone! Let's see our brothers out!".

Suddenly, Gorons began to drop from the sky and cheered for Link, though when they went to give him a hug, Link took off running for his life, a hug from a Goron would be deadly to him

The girls, however, gave the Gorons a big hug and then took off running after Link, leaving an amused Darunia and happy Gorons behind.

Hope and Morgan caught up to Link and then pick him up by the arms, with the young Hero in their grasp, both girls took off flying and headed towards the top of Death Mountain.

It didn't take long for them to arrive, and there they found a large boulder blocking the entrance of a cave, Morgan and Hope sense a great amount of light and magic behind the boulder.

So Morgan backhanded the boulder and destroyed it, allowing the kids to go through the entrance.

The kids found themselves in a beautiful temple-like domain, inside they also found a small fountain and a monument with a Triforce carved into the floor and inlaid with gold.

Morgan looked around and smiled "This place is beautiful and the amount of mana in here is enormous as well".

Hope nodded "Yeah, plus it's pure as well... I think we're in a pocket dimension of sorts, I sense some space and time manipulation just as we were walking inside".

Link walked over to the fountain and then looked down at the golden inlaid Triforce, having done this a few times before, Link quickly took out his ocarina and began to play Zelda's Lullaby.

The effect was instantaneous, as soon as Link finished playing Zelda's Lullaby, a giggle was heard from all over the place, and then a big laugh, from the very fountain, a very tall woman wearing leaves and vines as clothes emerged from the water.

The woman spun around in mid-air and then ended up in a sitting position with her legs crossed and her face resting on her hand, the woman smiled at the children and then spoke "Welcome children! I am the Great Fairy of Power! Link, I grant you a sword technique! receive it now!".

The Great Fairy of Power opened her arms wide and magical energy then began to flow from her toward Link, the young hero felt the surge of power and the knowledge of a secret sword technique.

The Great Fairy of Power smiled and then explained "Now you can use the spin attack! Use it wisely, as for you girls.

I don't have anything that would be useful to beings such as yourselves but thank you for aiding Link, please continue to give him your aid!".

Both girls smiled at the Great Fairy of Power, Hope then said "You're welcome Great Fairy and don't worry, we will help Link with his quest! Rest assured, he won't be doing this by himself!".

The Great Fairy of Power smiled at the girls and then looked towards Link "Young hero, charge power for a spin attack will consume your mana, do keep that in mind".

Link nodded, he was really thankful that Morgan and Hope taught him how to channel mana otherwise he might have had some difficulties with his new technique, the Great Fairy of Power then said "Link, if you get the chance visit my friends who live across the land! they'll grant you other powers".

Link nodded, the Great Fairy of Power smiled one more time and then vanished into the fountain in motes of light, the kids smiled and then left the Great Fairy Fountain.

Once the kids were outside, they jumped a bit in surprise at a sudden ringing noise coming from Morgan's pocket, though Link was more startled it scared him into making a flip back and away from Morgan.

Both Hope and Morgan stared at Link in silence, Link stared at the girl's back, until the girls both began to giggle and then laughed at Link's sudden flip, the young hero just sheepishly scratched his head.

Morgan smiled at Link "Nice flip Link".

Hope nodded in agreement "Yeah! It was pretty neat the way you did that so quick! Like a cat!".

Link just sighed but soon laughed as well, Navi then decided to ask what that ringing sound was "What was that noise? Do you have a monster in your pocket, Morgan?".

Morgan shook her head and then took out her smartphone "No, it was this!".

Morgan showed Link and Navi her smartphone, Link tilted his head, and Hope knowing that he was curious about the smartphone decided to explain "It's a machine that allows you to call and send messages to others who have a smartphone.

Though ours are a bit special since we can communicate to other worlds".

Link looked amazed, while Navi began to fly around Morgan who was reading the text she just got, she suddenly smiled and cheered "Hope! Uncle Harry is home! He's back and he's calling for a family meeting!".

Hope smiled and cheered as well "Daddy is back home! Yay!".

Link smiled at how excited his friends seemed to be, Morgan turned around to face Link and cheerfully asked him "Link do you mind if we go back home for a few hours? We'll return soon!".

Link nodded to Morgan, he didn't mind waiting for them for a few hours, not after everything they have done for him, Morgan and Hope then cheered, and after they were done cheering Hope said, "We should at least take Link somewhere were he can wait for us!".

Morgan nodded and then grabbed Link and together with Hope, they took off flying towards Kakariko Village, so they can drop off Link there and then go back home for the family meeting.

After the girls made sure Link was going to be okay and safe they went home, Link was left by himself in Kakariko Village, but he didn't mind taking it easy while he waited for his friends to return.

He played Saria's song and spoke to her about his adventure in Dodongo Cavern, Saria was shocked and worried about Link, but the young hero told her how Morgan and Hope kept an eye on him and made sure he was safe throughout the whole adventure.

They really helped when he needed it, and this put Saria at ease, after that Link told her about the Gorons, the Great Fairy, and about the new sword technique he had gotten from her along with a boost in magic.

This is how Link spent the rest of his day, while waiting for Hope and Morgan, time just flew for him, and before he knew it, nighttime had arrived, so he let Saria go to sleep and waited.

It didn't take long for the girls to return after he had let Saria go, and they quickly ran up to him, it was nighttime, and deciding that it was too late to get going, they decided to camp out.

So the kids headed outside of Kakariko Village and into Hyrule fields, there Morgan took out the camping gear from her boosted gear inventory, while Hope took some food out of her pocket.

The kids soon sat around a fire and the girls then told Link what the family meeting was about, to him, it all sounded so fantastical to him, life beyond the stars, aliens, and technology beyond his understanding.

It was amazing to think about, though he was a bit worried about the fact that there was going to be a war, but Hope and Morgan told him that there was nothing to worry about.

They might call it a war, but for the Potter household is a rather simple fight in which they were going to win.

Even then, Link offered his help, and the girls smiled at him, both Hope and Morgan knew Link would want to help and were very happy that their thoughts were proven right.

After that, the kids then went to sleep after Hope raised a bunch of wards around the campsite just in case monsters attacked, with that done, they peacefully slept through the night.

~The next morning~

Morgan and Hope woke Link early in the morning for some training, they taught him how to channel mana into his sword and fire an energy sword slash, along with a few simple low-level elemental spells.

Things like a fireball, aqua edge, wind blade, and lightning, are offensive spells for Link to have some variety to his arsenal, they even taught him, first aid, which is a low-level healing spell, that will come in handy to the young Hero in his adventures.

The kids decided to get going, so they had a quick breakfast and picked everything up, Morgan then raised a question "So where to next? We have two of the stones now, but where do we find the third?".

Hope hummed and then nodded to Morgan "Good question, I guess we can try sensing the Stone's location?".

Link tilted his head, he seemed intrigued and it showed on his face, so Hope noticed right away and explained "We can sense out one of the stones we have and then we can scan for an energy signature similar to it".

Link nodded in understanding and quickly took out the Kokiri's Emerald, Hope smiled and took it, she then held it in front of her and sensed the stone out, about a minute later she handed it back to Link who put it away.

With all of that done, Hope then closed her eyes and focused on locating an energy signature similar to the Kokiri's Emerald, she immediately sensed the Goron's Ruby inside Link's tunic.

It felt like divinity and flames, the Kokiri's Emerald felt like divinity and nature, but then she felt something kinda far away, something that felt like divinity and a spring of water.

Hope opened her eyes and then smiled "Found it! Let's go guy's!".

Both Morgan and Link nodded and when Hope disappeared in a blur, so did Morgan and Link, the trio made their way through the Hylian fields, followed a stream, and then arrived at a new location.

The kids arrived by a river, Morgan saw a sign nearby so she walked up to it and read it "Zora's River?".

Hope walked forward and nodded to herself "We're close, I think we should follow the river and see where it leads".

Link and Morgan nodded and then the trio walked forward while following the river, but not far to the entrance of Zora's River, they found the big owl again, and as always he spoke right away "Hoo, hoo! Looks like you've gotten bigger and stronger already Link!

Just ahead lies Zora's Domain, the Zora serve Hyrule's Royal Family by protecting this water source, their door will not open for anyone except those who have some connection with the Royal Family.

Let them hear the melody of the Royal Family! Hooo hoo hoooot!".

The big owl suddenly took off flying after saying his piece, Morgan scratched her head and stared at the owl leave "There goes Mr. Owl, I wonder how he knows where we will be going?".

Link shrugged, he had no idea, he was just glad Mr Owl always helps him whenever he see him, Hope smiled at Morgan and just said "It doesn't matter, he's helping in his own way and that's enough".

Morgan nodded, and then the kids kept going, along the way they found their way blocked by some big boulders, but Morgan pulverized them with a punch the the trio kept going.

Further, down the river, they found a guy sitting by a fence eating something, curious about him, the kids approached him, the guys smiled and then said, "Chomp chomp chomp... how about some magic beans? They aren't selling well... how about ten rupees for one?".

Morgan ended up buying a whole bunch of the magic beans and then putting them away in her boosted gear inventory, the guy tried to ask for more rupees at one point, but Morgan just gave him a malicious smile and he thought better of it.

Link was glad he did so, the guy had no idea just how big of a cannonball he just avoided by not trying to swindle Morgan out more rupees.

Hope was curious about the magic beans, so she asked Morgan to plant one on a patch of soft soil nearby, Morgan did so and a plant grew in an instant, though it was still sort of young, it was still rather cool to see.

Now the girls were quite excited to show these seeds to Harry and Neville, who is in charge of the Agricultural Guild, maybe they will get some prize for discovering a new plant.

With that done, the kids jumped over the fence and kept going, however as the kids walked by the river, an octopus-like monster jumped out of the water and fired a stone at the kids, but Morgan slapped the stone away before it could even reach any of them.

Link, wanting to test out one of his new techniques, gathered mana on his sword and then swung it at the monster, an energy sword slash, flew from his sword towards the monster and soon hit it, cutting it in half.

Links smiled proudly at his victory, Hope and Morgan giggled at how proud of himself Link seemed right now, but with that done Hope decided to ask Navi a question "What was that monster, Navi?".

Navi was of course happy to answer Hope's question "That was an octorok, octoroks are aquatic monsters usually found in water bodies.

For this reason, they are found in nearly any place that has water, they usually lurk under the surface of the water, but when an enemy gets within their range, they pop up and spit rocks at their target.

If an enemy gets too close, they will retreat back into the water, they can be defeated with the use of any long-ranged weapon, attack, or by deflecting the rocks they spit, with a shield, a rather easy way to defeat them too".

Hope hummed for a few seconds and then said "So they're not too dangerous huh? Looks like you can practice your new technique and spells a plenty here Link".

Link nodded and seemed rather excited, which made Morgan and Hope smile at him in amusement, with that decided, the kids got going and continued to follow the river, they found some high cliffs and a Heart Piece on top of a stone Pillar.

But the kids easily jumped from one stone cliff to the other and reached the piece of heart, which Link grabbed and then lifted above his head in victory, after Link's antics the kids jumped down and continued to follow the river.

Along the way, Link blasted octoroks with his new magic spells, that day, octoroks were slaughtered by the dozen by fire, wind, water, and even lighting, but the kids didn't really care about the bloodshed they unleashed and happily kept going.

Arriving close to the end of the river and by a big waterfall, the kids found another heart piece, but again, they quickly jumped over and grabbed it, Link did his victory ritual, and the kids then got closer to the waterfall to investigate it.

Once in front of the waterfall, the kids found a stone plaque with a golden Triforce engraved on it, Morgan smiled "Oh! So here's where Link should play Zelda's Lullaby! Just like Mr. Owl told us!".

Hope nodded "Seems like it, go ahead Link".

Link quickly played the Song and the waterfall actually split in the middle revealing an entrance, the kids were amazed at the super secret entrance and were now excited to see what was inside the entrance.

Though Navi suddenly spoke, "Um... Morgan, where's your cucco?".

Link looked towards Morgan's head and noticed that indeed, her cucco was not there, Morgan smiled and then said "Oh, I left in my room! She fell asleep on my bed so I didn't want to wake her".

Hope raised an eyebrow at Morgan "You left a big chicken, alone in your room? Where we keep a bunch of power-ups from the Mushroom Kingdom?".

Morgan sweatdropped "... It will be fine... I think?".

Meanwhile, back in the Potter household, a giant cucco was now having a staring contest with Harry after eating a super mushroom"... So now we have a chicken in the house?... I don't even know what to say to this".

Thecucco just tilted her head at Harry, who just deadpanned at it "And why do I feel like death doesn't even want to touch you?".

The cucco of course didn't respond, instead, it continued to stare into Harry's eyes who felt as if he was staring at a heartless monster who had bathed in the blood of its enemies.

Truly, this chicken was a horrible monster, one that could defy even death... and it was Morgan's pet, Harry didn't know if he should be impressed or worried for Morgan.

Morgan suddenly shrugged "Well, in any case, as long as no one hits her it should be fine!".

Hope sighed and then took out her smartphone to sent a text to everyone, to not hit the cucco, who knows if anyone can survive being ambushed by countless immortal chickens coming after you for blood.

Even she didn't know if her daddy could survive that, and that was a really big sign that the cucco was really dangerous, Hope was just glad that the cucco seemed attached to Morgan for some odd reason.

Either way, the kids made their way into Zora's Domain, and wow did the kids gape at how beautiful the Zora's home is, it was a cave sure, but its beauty came from the crystal blue water whose reflection lit the cavern, and gave it a pretty blue hue.

Morgan walked over to the edge of the cliff they were standing on and looked down at the water "Wow! I've never seen water so blue and clean!".

Hope joined Morgan and looked down "Amazing... this kind of water would be priceless in our world, the sample we took from The Lost Forest was already amazing and full of mana.

But this? This water is even more saturated with mana, just think the sort of things someone like Daddy could do with just a bit of this water".

Link looked around and seemed curious, but then he noticed a humanoid creature on the water, Navi noticed that Link was staring at a Zora and decided to explain "That's a Zora.

The Zora are an aquatic folk who possess fish and amphibian-like traits, including fins, webbed feet, and gills, which allow them to swim and thrive underwater.

Zora can come in many shapes and sizes but are most commonly known to look like humanoids with long tail fins on their heads and finned appendages on their arms and legs, they are protectors of water.

Zora lay eggs which hatch into tadpole-like young, their eggs hatch one to three days after they are laid provided that the water they lie in is of a proper temperature and that the eggs that were laid at the same time are together.

While they resemble tadpoles when they first hatch and they become humanoid even before reaching adulthood, Zora are known to have long lifespans as well".

Morgan heard what Navi told Link and nodded in understanding "Oh, so they're a long-lived species, that's kinda neat, I wonder how long can one live".

Hope nodded as she as well heard Navi "More than likely, they can live a few good centuries, though I kinda want to see a Zora tapdole now".

Link nodded since he also wanted to see a Zora tadpole, but right now they had a few things to do first, so Link and the girls follow the cliff, the Zoras that they passed by, looked at the trio with interest and curiosity.

But didn't say anything nor did they try to stop them, however, Morgan noticed a few torches that were out along the cliff and even below "Hm? This looks interesting, Link?".

Link turned towards Morgan and tilted his head towards her, Morgan pointed to a torch "Try setting those torches on fire, see what happens".

Link nodded and raised a hand, a fireball coalesced on his hand and Link immediately threw it at the torch lighting it up, with that accomplished, Link and the girls then quickly went around doing the same to all the unlit torches they could find.

Eventually, they even found two unlit torches behind the waterfall inside Zora's Domain, as soon as Link lit up the two churches, a big chest magically appeared between them.

Morgan smiled and kicked it open "Heh! I knew those torches looked suspicious!".

With the chest open, Hope took a look inside "Oh! A piece of heart! Take it Link".

Link nodded and immediately grabbed the Piece of Heart and held it above his head in victory.

After that little odd surprise, the kids then walked went back up the cliff and went even higher up, they soon found a big Zora with a crown and cape, but the kids ignore him for now and continue to look around.

Eventually they made it just above the waterfall where they found a Zora standing there, the Zora smiled at the kids and then explained that he was there to offer a game of sorts.

The game involved jumping down the water and diving into the water to collect a few rupees that the Zora was going to throw, all for just 20 rupees, Morgan got intrigued and decided to give it a try, so she paid the Zora.

The Zora smiled and then threw a bunch of blue rupees down the waterfall, Morgan's dragonic eyes were able to see where they landed so, she immediately jumped down the waterfall.

As soon as she hit the water below, she dived in even further into the water and collected the rupees as fast as she could, a few of the Zoras swimming in the water gaped at how fast Morgan was swimming for the rupees.

What they didn't know, was that not only could Morgan breathe underwater, but she was strong enough to even outrace a Zora in the water.

Eventually, the little Stark collected the rupees in a few seconds and resurfaced, much to the shock of the Zora above the waterfall "... Ah! e-excellent! Come up here for your reward!".

Morgan smiled and nodded, and then to the further shock of all the Zoras staring at her, she suddenly stood on the water and then jumped high into the air, the Zora above the waterfall gaped as Morgan landed beside him.

Morgan however didn't pay the shock Zora any mind and just smiled, she then said "I'm here!".

This snapped the Zora out of his shock and quickly said "That was amazing... I didn't think Hylians could do things like that".

Morgan just shrugged "I'm not a Hylian though, but it was fun! and the water was very refreshing too!".

The Zora smiled and nodded to Morgan "I see, I'm glad you had fun, now please take this! It's a scale of our kind, with this, you can dive much deeper under water".

Morgan accepted the silver scale and feeling a bit happy about her prize she lifted it above her head in victory like Link, Hope giggled at Morgan, while Link smiled in amusement.

Morgan however handed the scale to Link "Here Link, I don't need it, I think you'll be able to make better use of it than I would anyways".

Link smiled at Morgan thankful for the gift, he quickly put the silver scale away and the kids went to go talk to the Big Zora with the Crown and Cape, perhaps he knew where the last Spiritual Stone was.
