CHAPTER 13
Vera watched as Reuben and Asher matched their way into the class.
"Late again Mr.Lee and Mr.Elvis".Prof.Doris says.
They both bow their heads and apologized before making their way to their seats.
She fixed her gaze on Asher as he talks with Reuben. 'Could he ever love her'.She wondered.
How was his girlfriend like?Only if she knew,she would differently be like her just to please him.
Asher recline on his chair and stretch out his legs and brought his text book.
"So how is it going with your student?".He asked Reuben whose face fell into a frown.
"She's crazy,annoying...gosh!!I wonder why they have to let them choose,if they did let us choose I won't choose her".He spat.
"She's not pretty bad right-".
He scoff."She's bad,she's fat with her stupid cute doll like round face,large ruby eyes,brunette hair,pink lips....Why are you staring at me that way?".
Asher shrugs."You sound like someone that keeps looking at her doll like face".His smile widens.
"Darn it!!".Reuben curses realizing how drawn he was to her face."Stop it!".He snapped,glaring at the annoying smile that plaster on Asher's face."I don't like her,am.dating Linda".
Asher gave him an innocent smile."I never said you liked her-".
"Maybe I should rather take Trina".Reuben said,trying to spite him off and gladly it did.
"Don't you dare!!".He growls as Reuben laughs.
Asher was surprised by his own possession over Trina.
'He hopes it isn't what he thinks'.
Trina walks into English classroom and sighted Teddy,she waved and made her way to where he sat.
"Ugh!!".She exclaim in disgust."I hate english!".Then she stared at Ted who was lost in his thoughts.
She tap his shoulder,bringing him back to earth."Hey!Ted are you okay?".
"Ow,Trina you're here.Good thing you're here,I have a question,if someone bit your ear.What does it mean?".His question made her choke."Are you okay?".
She gave him a slight nod as her cheek heats up as she thought of how Asher had bitten her ear on the first day they met.
"W..w..well..".She stammer nervously."I don't know".She finally said as Ted face fell flat
in disappointment.
"Hey Trina,What you doing here hanging out with this loser??".Nike snaps and grabbed her bag."Come sit over there with me and my friends".
Trina took a look back to see friends making out with some sexy girls.
She chuckled and look up at him irritated by his presence. "Do you think I will ever come to you".And she yanked her bag away from him.
"What do you see in other boys that I Nike don't have.Am handsome,tall,wealthy-".
"Manners you lack that".Ted cut him off."Maybe if you.....".Nike cut him off with a blow across his face that made Ted to lose his balance.
Trina quickly went to help him up but Nike grip her by the hand."NIKE!!!!".She roared.
"Let go of her!!".A new voice chime in and violently pull his hand from Trina and shove it.
Nike looked up glaring at the girl but it was quickly replaced with lust as he stared at her plump breast.
He had to admit the girl was pretty and complete.
He took a strand of her fine brunette hair and inhale the sweet smell."Do you wish to take her place in-".
'SLAP'..Everyone eyes widen in shock.No one,not even his parent had laid a hand on him but a short girl with plumpy breast and curvy butt had done it.
Who the hell does she think she is to do that????.
He grip her by the hand violently enough to make her bruised."How dare you!!!".
"And how dare you lay your hands on them-".
"Hey!Madison are you crazy!!".Linda,a sexy slender girl with blue sleek hair and bright golden eyes with regular features strode at her and landed a slap across her face,leaving the imprint of her five fingers on her face.
Trina pulled Madison behind her and confronted Linda."Why did you do that!!!".
"How dare she slap our Nike,just because Asher is your mentor doesn't mean you have the right to question me".Linda said as Trina laugh like a lunatic.
"You will surely pay for what you've done,let's go guys".She helped Madison and Ted to the clinic room.
Nike finally felt satisfied to see that Madison slapped.
He hook his hand round Linda's waist and asked."Care to join me this evening.....at me house?".
Without thinking,she nodded smiling like a fool.
After Trina treated the bruise on Ted's face and apply cream to erase the finger print on Madison's face,she head over to the school garden and waited for Asher while waiting she decided to give her mother a call.
"Hello,am i speaking to Chloe Owens?"
"Kat darling,don't speak to me like we're strangers-".
"After you laid your hand on me you became a stranger to me.Now speak and don't waste my time!".She demands.
"My birthday is tomorrow".Trina detected pain in her voice through the other end 'She deserved to be hurt'.She remained herself.
"And so??".She retort harshly.
"So I want you to be there,is not something big,just me and you having fun in a restaurant".
Trina sigh."Fine,I will come since am not as heartless as you to have put Vera as your first priority instead of your own flesh and blood".She didn't realize tears was welling down her face until a drop landed on her hand."You knew how much I loved Aiden yet,yet you cut off our engagement without informing me and made Vera his fiancéé,not only that,you handed dad's inheritance written under my name to her.....I would have accepted this terrible betrayal from someone else but not you,my so called mother-"
"Your not fit to run a company,you're still young-".
"BECAUSE YOU NEVER GAVE ME A CHANCE TO PROVE MYSELF TO YOU!!".she roared."See you tomorrow,send the place and time and remember am only doing this for father".And she quickly disconnect the call.
A warm hand touches her shoulder that got her to jump like a startled cat.
She turn and was now staring at Asher who was staring back at her worried."How much did you hear?".
"Much to know that you're hurting.Are you okay?".
She nods."I will manage"
All she wanted to do was to curl up to him and cry out her eyes as she let him caress her back.
His hands,words,unusual violet eyes made her feel safe and bring comfort to her.
"Do you want to go home?Maybe another day".She heard him ask and she nodded,brimming with smile.
