CHAPTER 14
Reuben walks inside the sport field and sighted Madison who he has been looking for,for a while now.
As expected she was eating."I finally found your fat ass. ...Why are you sulking".And he lower himself to the bench.
A low gasp escapes his lips on seeing a hand imprinted on her left cheek."Who did this to you!!!".He growl.
Madison wondered what would happen if she told him what Linda did.'Would he believe that his girlfriend who he loves is cheating on him???'.
She was tempted to but she couldn't bear to see him heartbroken.
She couldn't because she had a crush on him,the only man that didn't look at her with lust,the only man that set her heart on fire but too bad he didn't like her one bit.
She forced a smile and said."I had a fight with Nike".
"How dare he-".
"Why you getting angry?Do you like me?".Those words spill out from her lips before she knew it.
"Hey!!You fat ass girl...Why do you think so?I have a girlfriend".
"Just kidding".She quickly say between laughter.
"Stop touching me with your dirty hands,here".He handed his hanky to her.
"Help me,please,huh?".
She asked,giving him her cute adorable face that he could not refuse.
"Argh!".He exclaims expressing his annoyance and defeat."When did you become a flirt".Nevertheless,he still wipe her oily hands.Subconsciously,his gaze went up to her full juicy lips.
Strangely,he had the urge to grab those lips and torture her with his and use his tongue to taste every bit of her and and ....
"And when did you start looking at a girl lips,are you a pervert?".
He spring to his feet so hastily with his face crimson red."Do it all by yourself!".And he tossed his hanky to her and walk away as she quickly follow behind.
"Hey!Did you find me so attractive that your blushing this much".Her statement made him halts in track.
He dismisses it with a scoffs."I assure you,you are a least attractive!".He snapped
"Hey!Wait for me".And she ran after him.
Gowon impatiently watch as Ted walks into the store.
Quickly she took off the store uniform jacket."Thank good lord you arrived here on time,I really need to run".She passed him the jacket and brush past but stopped and she turn around.
Her jaw hardened on seeing Ted's black eye,no doubt someone hit her Ted.
She strides towards him and held his chin."Who did this to you??".He heard her ask husky.
'Did she really care about him?'.He couldn't explain but he somehow felt happy to see she did care."Speak!!".He heard her say,sounding murderous this time around.
"Well,you see I was trying to protect Trina from Nike but he ended up punching me hurting my classmate and Trina-".
"That bloody bastard!!".And she grab an empty bottle and storms out.
Sensing danger,Ted lock up the door and chased after her.
"What are you going to do??".He asked,tailing behind.
"Come along and you will see what I do to those who messes with my friends".And she matched to Nike's house.
Finally,they arrive at his house,she try to open it but it was locked,so she pulled out her hairpin from her hair,twisted it and unlock it.
"Gowon,we can still go back it's not still late".He said trying to talking her out of it.
"Just shut up!".She growl and step into the house and smiled on seeing a lady's clothes scattered all over the floor. "Great,we have a guest-".
"Am certain is Linda,she also hurt out friend.Gowon,let's go back".
The corner of her lips curved into a smirk."Excellent,just like killing to bird with a stone".And she ran up taking the stairs two at a time.
And she kicked the door to Nike room open as Nike instincts kicked in and he sprung to his feet,putting on his trousers."What the fuck!!!.Gowon??".He questioned her presence here in his house.
Linda quickly wrap her naked body with his blanket. "Nike,who is...ahhh!".Instantly,Linda was violently pulled away from the bed and was smashed with a bottle over her head.Linda screams in pain as she bleeds from the head.
"What the...".Before Nike could continue he was given a blow across his face,silencing him.
He sat still shocked and bewildered.
He knew this girl was crazy but not this crazy to hit someone with a bottle.
"If you ever touch a string of my friends hair,i'll make sure is not only head that will break but also your legs!".She threatens and drag Ted along with her.
Gowon looked at Ted who has been quiet since they left Nike's place.All she hoped was that he didn't think of her like a big monster.
And that's what she feared the most."I..I hoped you didn't see a thing".
"Am not blind Gowon and besides you were cool back there,how did you learn to fight?".
She laughs."At home we ate violent for breakfast,breaking of bottles,bleeding from the nose,breaking of legs every of those things was nothing to us and I didn't mean to show you that bad side of me even Trina hasn't seen this side yet-".
"Why?".
"What?".Her brows lifted as she turns to look at him.
"Well".He started,staring down at his shoe,feeling nervous."Why did you help?T..Trina told me you bully people you love-".
"WHAT!!I i mean what are you saying??".
Ted face broke into a smile on seeing how uneasy she was.
"She didn't mean to say it.....i was just wondering if it's true".
"What are you insinuating?".She questioned,her voice cracking.
"Do you like me!".He blurted out.
"Me?"She gave a nervous laugh."No...".Her voice dies off into silent as Ted landed a light kiss on her cheek.
"Thank you".She heard him,making her speechless.
He walked away,leaving her behind.
She definitely sense his happiness over the fact he defeated,the strong Gowon but he was so wrong.
With a sly smile across her purple painted lips,she wasn't going to let him take the upper hand."I don't think that's enough for me to accept your thank you...Unless"She stresses."You give me another kiss".She propose.
Ted lean in again intending to peck her again but she intentionally turns and his lips landed directly on hers.
Instinctively,he quickly took a step back. "I..i didn't mean to-".Instantly his mouth was captured with hers as she kisses him and he unwillingly open up for her.
And they both tore their mouth from eachother panting with their faces flushed.
And in those eyes unspoken words was said.
