school sucks...sometimes

I ran as fast as I could in hopes that I wouldn't arrive too late. My legs were already beginning to ache, with every step I took I felt my feet pounding against the ground. It didn't help that my injuries from the previous and other nights, felt as if I had gotten kicked over and over. Which well I did but still. Soon enough I saw my school's entrance. I quickly rushed in and ran to the office. Once I reached it I was a bit out of breath. I quickly calmed my breathing then quietly opened the door. The moment I did, all the office people stopped and stared. I freeze instantly. Once everyone went back to normal, I walked towards the main office lady, Mrs.Lydia

"Name and class sweetie?" She inquired with a smile.

"Peter Parker and im going to Miss.Leyva class." I respond softly.

She smiles and nods, printing out a tardy pass once it's done she hands it to me. "Thank you, Mrs.Lydia" i see her smile and say "Run along before you miss more class"

I smile and quickly walk out of the office. Once I'm out of view I run to class. I turn a corner at the end of the hall, almost slipping but I quickly steady myself and run to class.

Finally I arrive at the door and quickly calm myself down. Once I was okay I knocked , before hesitantly opening the door instantly all eyes were on me. "Seems you finally decided to join us,Mr.Parker." Mrs.Leyva spoke up. I nervously nodded and walked over to her and handed her the tardy pass. She inspected it before saying "All right go sit at your desk" i nodded and tried to speed walk past Flash and his friends. But as soon as I reached him he tripped me. Luckily Mrs.Leyva saw what happened and told Flash off "Mr.Thompson! Apologize to Parker and help him up this instant!" I had already picked up my stuff and was about to get up when Flash grabbed my arm and pulled me up scoffing and.. "Apologized" , "Sorry Parker" he spat with venom. I already knew today was going to be horrible. He scoffed again before letting me go.

I quickly rushed to my desk hearing a few quiet snickers. I heard someone whisper thanks to my super hearing. "Jesus if i were him i'd off myself" Others whispered "what's wrong with Flash? Parker didn't do anything" i hurried up and sat next to Ned instantly dropping my head onto the desk. Ned looks at me with concern before asking"You okay Pete?" I slowly turned to look at him before groaning and saying "I'm tired, I'm injured, I'm late and my super hearing isn't helping at all." "I know man patrolling takes a lot of energy and time..." he responded before pausing and turning to fully face me "Wait you're injured! How bad is it?" I quickly shushed him "shh everyone's gonna hear you now man" "Right sorry, but are you okay?" he responded with concern. I simply smiled and nodded saying "well i'm alive aren't i?" I hear Ned sigh and look at me in concern.

Before he could respond Mrs.Leyva caught our attention saying "alright class I have a very important announcement to make and I know many of you will be excited!" At the end she looked at me ,Ned and... Flash? I shook it off and decided to lean forward my full attention on the teacher. I noticed I wasn't the only one, Mrs.Leyva seemed excited so it has to be a good thing. "Drumroll please!" Mrs.Leyva asked excitedly earning a few eyerolls but nonetheless everyone, including Flash surprisingly, did as she said and hit the table to make "drumrolls."

"Stark enterprises is sending exams to schools all over the u.s.a looking for new interns!" Instant silence before a few kids started cheering and high-fiving each other. Me and Ned instantly looked at each other in excitement.
