Lunch

Peter's pov

(Timeskip to bell rings for lunch)

*ding ding* (my best bell impression 😌)

Once the bell rings everyone gets up and rushes out. Me and Ned always wait for everyone to leave so we don't get pushed around. So I took my time neatly putting my things away. Just as the last people left I finished, so we started walking out the door. Until we heard "Mr.Parker, Mr.Leeds I need to talk to both of you." Mrs.Leyva calmly asked. Instantly Me and Ned pause looking at each other he quietly whispered "She knows your spiderman are we going to jail??" I stare dumbfounded for a bit before whispering back "She can't know it's probably a warning about us talking too much" Ned quietly nodded before turning around to Mrs.Leyva and saying "sure…Miss is everything okay?" I turn around too and give her a nervous smile. She pauses before smiling and saying "You're not in trouble, I just wanted to know if you were going to take the Stark internship tests?" Me and Ned look at each other with relief. Ned instantly responded "yup! I'm not missing this opportunity!" That seemed to be the answer Mrs.Leyva wanted cause she lit up before she turned to me smiling expectantly i paused then smiled a bit nervously and nodded saying "I might..i mean i doubt ill do good but what harm can it cause..?" I noticed her and Ned frown slightly. Before she stood up slamming her hands on her desk. I stare in shock as she begins to rant "Peter Benjamin Parker! I will not have that negativity in my classroom! You are an amazing, smart and kind student! I will not stand by and watch you miss this opportunity because you think you're not good enough! Which first off is straight bullshit! You are literally the smartest in the class, the kindest and most bravest which is obvious. Not only that but you're an honor student while being a freshman!" "Yeah what she said! Pete you are not missing this once in a lifetime opportunity!" Ned quickly added earning a nod from Mrs.Leyva before she once again added "the test is on Tuesday by that time I better see both of your names on that list!" Ned nodded instantly and she paused before saying "Tell MJ that too!" Ned instantly  said "I'll make sure they both sign up!" Mrs.Leyva nodded enthusiastically  I simply stared dumbfounded "alright now go get lunch!" She stated with a smile "Yes ma'am" Ned responded grabbing his stuff.

I paused before grabbing my stuff smiling slightly "Peter." I turned to look at her "yes Mrs.Leyva?" "Don't lose this opportunity " she smiled gently. I Paused nodded and responded "I won't." I quickly walked out after saying goodbye and see you tomorrow.

I saw Ned outside on his new phone. The moment he saw me he grabbed my hand and we speedwalked to the cafeteria.

We quickly grabbed our food and speedwalked to ours and MJ's table to se her already there with her own tray and as usual with her sketchbook. We quickly sit down and she notices us and greets us as usual. "Sup losers" "hey MJ, guess what???" Ned instantly starts a conversation as mj puts her sketchbook down to chat "What happened now? Was it flash?"  " well no but yes he did do something" I respond. "What! What did he do now?" Ned began explaining while I quietly ate by the end of the explanation MJ seemed mad but content Mrs.Leyva helped me out. I remembered the more important detail and decided to speak up "MJ guess what?" Seeing as she turned her attention to me I continued "Stark enterprises is handing out an internship test to schools all over the u.s!" I waited for her usual response but she simply paused and reached into her bag pulling out a flier saying "I know." We continued talking for a bit until Ned light up saying "oh yeah guys I forgot to mention but I got a new phone with a new phone number" "hmm.. give me your new phone number" "you told me but i kinda forgot it. So give me it too!" MJ+me replied. Ned paused before reaching into his pocket and searched for his phone number and MJ took ours out and got ready to type it in "678-137-6961" I typed it in.

And just when I put his name and pic the bell rang. Indicating it was time for 3rd period.

*ding ding*
