After 74 chapters I have to rate this book a 3.5. A few issues I have is that it took 70 chapters to get a monster rating system. Also we have no idea how the people other than mc level up or get stronger. Grandpa makes a big deal with him getting stronger killing monsters after all, which is odd. Little thing like leaving out what his level is as well. It's not clear if his main job lvl is his or not. Not sure why he has to go to Temple to advance main class but not sub. Little things like that constantly get annoying and only require a bit of early rewriting.
Really awesome story with unique characters! I love the world building that's happening and all of the jokes that are thrown in too XD. It's only 59 chapters at my time of writing, but the story keeps a very consistent tone as the first chapter. I can't stop myself from laughing out loud sometimes! I can't wait for more! Thank you Elyon!
I started reading this novel a few days ago, and got up to date really fast... So far, I have loved this novel a lot!!!! Love the characters, a little weirded out with the goat-kid "interaction" though... not my kind of sauce... The best part of all is that you don't find that stupid cliché that you find in so many novels of this genre: I was betrayed by everyone, included my family... Nobody loves me... I hate everyone... I'm going to prove them I'm the best and destroy them all kind of BS... Love how the character is loved by his family and doesn't have to go through those stupid cliches that most of the main characters in most novels go through just to justify the ruthlessness of its characters... Thanks for the novel! Keep up the good work! You'll have me looking forward to your posts!
It's a nice novel except I think I'm going to drop it. The power structure has bugged me a lot, everyone is put under their own power system except William, he has his own power structure, meaning it's impossible to know how strong he is on paper. I'd say if you can get over the fact that a goat is his mother, he has Stockholm syndrome, and the power structure means nothing then I'd say go read it.
Mc is extremely innocent and crybaby although he is supposed to be living his second life. I would say his innocence is pretty much forced, since he kills monsters and stuff and risks his life daily yet gets culture shock when he sees slavery, murder, robbery etc. And that milk stuff is overdone. Good points are the system of gods and reincarnations very interesting, Combat system is good, all the characters have depths to them and they are interesting except the mc.
Dropping after 40ish chapters. I just can't get into this one, was hopeful when I saw all the good reviews. Characters feel really 1 dimensional, I really cant describe anyone's personality other than MC and his grandfather. Even those two feel like cliches. Also the goat momma stuff is kinda off-putting.
I read up to chapter 75, the book is fun and there's a silly comedy that's really cool to read. The downside for me is the large amount of quantities. Reading the fight narrative, is often boring. Another bad point to highlight are chapters 59 and 60, they are terrible, honestly they don't make any sense, but other than that, the story is cool.
