He (me thinks it's a dude, don't care what he or she identifies as if not born what way) (also going to assume author was born a dude and stick with that) CAN WRITE! the first chapter was an AMAZING rollercoaster. one of the best openers I've ever read.then, the author made the plot go in ways that just made no sense or pathetic sense. I stuck with this and read the entire story was i have enough bored moments and the majority of other novels suck to a sickening degree beyond this.Make a bet about getting a teacher or being a slave if the mc loses? he won. but was betrayed and forced to become a slave. then this was justified later but it made poor sense. he could have been told that being a slave for a short time would be a part of the apprenticeship and would protect him from enslavmement in the future. it would have been SOOO much better than the master never paying for this betrayal and instead taking his virginity in this life and the mc taking the initiative once they got started and insisting on making her his lover/wife.In this story, having good looks will get the girls forgiven if they commit genocide (this is exaggerated but the gist).The harem rapidly became bland. the only feature worth talking about was how either each girl was involved in the MC's past lives. or the mc needed them to find hope. or it was a special edition Pokemon better catch them all. i.e. the seven/eight sins and virtues. the girls themselves were minimally interesting.the "strongest system" played so little part in this. the system was involved, but not in the capacity of a strongest system.the MCs patron deity is the jack of all trades. by the end of the novel, that feature was no longer relevant. the mc didn't even use this perk for his final battle. he just used a "class" that has always been waiting for him to meet the conditions to be activated. and an OP weapon.as much as nearly all harem novels have a monogamous mother pushing her son to seduce and impregnate every good looking girl under the sun while dominating the previously OP father for even considering a second wife. it just doesn't work. it does make sense to be fair. absentee parents will buy a lot for their kids to compensate for next to no quality time so this could be taken as a parallel. still, it does not work that welloh! the fact that the mc didn't find ANY half siblings in this story is a big plot hole. The father is said to be an expert in seducing women. you don't get born that way. you also don't get there without practice, discarding virginity plus practicing some more to become more adept. the mc being born from a single night of passion indicates his father isn't one to use protection and is possibly very potent. so this line is reasoning demands that someone else got pregnant during his learning stage.the pros of this story are all the references to a lot of popular media. the occasional decent humor.and moments when the author reminds us that he CAN WRITE. randomly giving us goosebumps inducing moments. this is a good author who in my opinion could have done SO MUCH BETTER. But probably had a vision he wanted to go with.
