Reviews of Perfect Secret Love: The Bad New Wife is a Little Sweet

This is actually a lot more interesting than you think. Very entertaining characters and MC & ML has good chemistry. 1st chapter and I’m already laughing out loud. So it has humor, vengeance, betrayal, cute scene and moments, along with developing plot and characters. It’s starting off very strong so I’m hoping it will get better. Looking forward to seeing how their relationship will develop. It’s written by the same Arthur as “Full Marks Hidden Marriage” so I feel the MC character is a bit similar to each other after rebirth, especally in the way they handle the ML. Overall, this novel is diffinity a must read!

Here is an actual review: SO SAD WHAT HAPPENED TO JI XIURAN OMFG. I ship YWW with SYH but it’s so sad that JXR loved her even though she didn’t know about it. I really liked JXR’s character. Too bad YWW never knew the truth behind his coldness. JXR only wanted to protect her, he loved her even though he could never show it because he knew it would hurt her in the end because his health was deteriorating. I wished he didn’t hypnotize her memories to forget their precious times together but the ending of this story was very good. Especially the side story of JXR.

Am rating this novel all 5 stars and I am hoping the translator gives a mass release of updates am dying to know what would happen in the next chapter. Very addictive story.

This novel is like an upgrade version of HM. (book from same author) You can find traces of HM here (like hidden martial art expert, white tiger, show biz etc) but those elements are blended really well in the story. Second life theme really suit the novel too. (I have read around chapter 670 in raw. Other than rooting for MC and ML and hating QRX there are almost no problem. I especially like the show biz arcs.) May be you will hate first some chapters where ML abuse MC. But ML is actually not a repulsive wife beater type in later chapters. He gives more of salaryman/loving husband type feeling. (Other than his bg, he is kind of boring for ML tbh) Don't worry there are many other interesting things in this novel. Struggle in show-biz, Ye Family affairs, Cross Dress! etc. Translation Quality 4 Update Stability 4 Story Development 4 Character Design 3 World Building 4.5

Please change the cover picture. It doesn’t do justice to the interesting story and female lead. If it’s not because of the author, I wouldn’t be reading it. The picture really irks people and prevents reader from clicking onto it.

Ok excuse the foul language. Wtaf? Seriously wtaf?? Why would this novel suddenly appear out of the blue when there's a translation out there. And wth is wrong with the cover srsly. Who tf is that. Wtaf. I think that someone may have mistakenly choosen the wrong fucking cover. I have no fucking clue who that girl and that guy in the cover are. Srsly should change the cover.

I have no idea who decided on that cover, but knowing the story and spoilers, that cover definitely works as an example of "How Not to Turn Off New Readers". The story itself is fine, been catching up with the author's release and it's one of those that I still follow. Could have done without the Rape beginning (it starts with rape), pretty much why most people ship Wan Wan with other male characters instead of the real male lead. Everytime I want to like him, I remember the rape *sigh*

Overall is great, but i still hung up about Ji Xiuran life/ending. I really love the FL and ML, but i sincerely hope that the second ML got a better life when he is not with the FL, got his own story for example. Nevertheless, this story is so good 😊, glad that i encounter it, hope to see more of the Author works. Best of luck Author 💪🏻🤗

This novel is so amazing to the point I can't believe it's over it feels just like yesterday when I started reading it this novel definitely is an emotional rolacoster sometimes it will make you cry, happy, excited, laugh, and more I'm very picky on what I read and if I like it's really something I cried so much at the ending I couldn't expect the fact that it ended but I was also very happy that every character had an amazing life moving on hahaha but I do wish they have a part 2 this novel is full with suprises it's just perfect but I do wish on the end that Si yehan and Wanwan could have more parts together and maybe have one more kid and had a supportive sentence at the end but that's my opinion hahaha I don't wanna spoil anything but for the person who's gonna read this get ready for some tissues and laughs btw I love the cross overs there so funny but if someone is reading this comment and your just started reading the novel make sure you laugh and have a fun time reading it this novel will make you feel loved I wish it didn't end yet but all good things have to end one day I'm off the road to find a another novel to read but till then I'll still have fun here binge reading every few months

The story development is so slow. Its focusing too much on explaining things that are not important. Almost half of the chapter is just the explanation about the stones and the real scene with wanwan was just like 1/4.

I have a big expectation for this novel at first. For the first 100 chap, you will this novel interesting and want to know more about it. But for the rest, dont even think about it. Disappointed, ML cant do anything and MC stir up trouble everywhere. Even if she know's she loves him and vice versa, the developement is shallow Dont bother read it, I warn you already
