I have no idea who decided on that cover, but knowing the story and spoilers, that cover definitely works as an example of "How Not to Turn Off New Readers". The story itself is fine, been catching up with the author's release and it's one of those that I still follow. Could have done without the Rape beginning (it starts with rape), pretty much why most people ship Wan Wan with other male characters instead of the real male lead. Everytime I want to like him, I remember the rape *sigh*

It's something that I follow even in its RAW form (Chinese author's release) but I won't censor things and just say outright that the rape is still a trigger for many readers even at the latest chapter.

even though their relationship wasn't good from the beginning of the novel, it gets better later and you will also find out that it wasn't all his fault (most of the blame is her friend and his illness). i like this novel so i just don't want you to miss out because of the beginning of the novel.

Who said I don't like it? I follow even the updates from the author at chapter 509 now. I'm telling the truth anyway, Si Yehan raped her. It's not gonna undo the deed no matter how gentle and caring he gets later on.

It's alright. I know I sound like I hate it, but aside from the rape incident I actually like the story. Even the author didn't expect this to get that much attention. Here's to hoping it'll grow as big as Hidden Marriage, that one ends after 2000+ chapters.
