5: Knowing You (His Side)

"Good evening, Mrs. Klien.."

"Oh.. hi, Dave! Please come in!" she welcomed me with a huge smile. I walked into the house. Duplex house with a warm and nice neighborhood. Kinda like it. Since I was little, I live in a small condo right in the middle of the city. Kinda busy and noisy. But here, I found some serenity.

Walking into the house, with nice and sweet decorations, I could see how neat this house is. No wonder. A girl is living here. Right at the corner before entering the kitchen, I saw a huge display with lots of medals inside it.

" Who won all this?"

" Oh, mostly it's Jane's. And the rest belong to Jack," I looked into the glass. There's a medal from a judo match and basketball.

" Who's taking judo class?"

Before Mrs. Klien could answer it, we had already stepped into the kitchen. There's a noise from the dining table. Laughing and teasing. I could hear somebody talking in a very calm voice.

" Okay, we have a guest today.." Mrs. Klien made some introduction. There's a big man, sitting on the right of the table, looking at me with a smile. Next to him is a boy. Probably The Jack.

" Here's come the best part!!" a voice came out from the kitchen. A light footstep and...

" Jane, look who's coming!" Mrs. Klien push me upfront, a little. I could see a shocked face shooting my eyes. The pudding almost falls off but, that little guy manages to grab it from her hand.

" What are you doing here?" Jane looks so uncomfortable.

" It's okay. He's our guest,"

" You didn't say anything. Well, there's only enough dessert for us,"

" It's okay, sweetheart. Dad's almost full," said Mr. Klien. He stands up and walks toward me. This man is seriously huge. Tall and big build. The basketball medals might probably be his.

"Hello, young man. I'm Jane's dad,"

"Nice to meet you, sir," he shook my hand. I felt trembling inside. It feels like meeting with the president for the first time. I feel so honored but at the same time, it's kinda nervous. He walked to his daughter, who still standing there like a roman pillar, still in shock.

" Well, why are you standing here like a lamp post? Serve some dessert for your boyfriend.."

" He's not my boyfriend!" Jane stomped her feet. I just smiled.

" It's okay, daddy understands it very well. Sooner or later you can't hide it anymore," Mr. Klien teasing Jane. I could see her face blushing a bit. Mr. Klien put his hand on his wife's shoulder.

" Come, honey, let them talk.." she winked at me. Jack pushed his chair and followed his parents to the hall. Silent. I just stand and smiled. Jane looked confused, but still, she manages to control her shock.

" Well, that looks delicious," I pointed at the pudding. She just stood there, biting her lips. Kinda cute and sexy, at the same time. I pull out the chair and sat in my dining room, holding a dessert spoon and a plate.

" Care to serve me some pudding, Miss Jane Klien?" my eyes winked. She's shocked but in the end, she serves me some.

That's how I bonded with Jane.

And, yet I still didn't know her very well.

After the pudding incident, we bond so well. I always came by her house, especially on Saturdays. Her family always held a movie night and they always invite me to their house. At first, she felt awkward, but as time pass by, she's my friend. I constantly spend my pass time at her house, inviting her to watch my game and hang out with her. Even my team complained, saying that I spend less and less time with them. But, I just can't miss it. Kinda miss her.

Yet, I still didn't know about her, well.

It was a PT session. The whole class gathered at the gym. Our class will continue with basic martial art, and we will learn about judo that day.

" Hey, did you see Jane?"

" Nope. Maybe she's still in the locker," suddenly, I felt uneasy. She is never late. Never. She's a punctual person.

" I should probably check her,"

" Don't you dare!" Krissy pointed her finger to my eyes. I just chuckled. Suddenly, I saw Jane walking from the locker. She looked miserable, holding her judo uniform so tight and her eyes looked cautious.

" What's wrong?" I asked. She just keeps silent and ignored me. She walked slowly towards Krissy and Luna. They spoke for a while. Luna just embraces her. Krissy said something before they sat together. I took my place next to her, but she changed seats with Luna.

" What's wrong?" Luna just kept silent. Class started. Everybody's in a sitting position. The coach gave a simple briefing before the sparing session started. Jane looked timid, trying to avoid any contact with her sparing. She always held her judo uniform tightly. This isn't right. She was always active during PT.

" Okay, let's do one-to-one sparring," the whole class gathered. Coach looked at us one by one.

" Okay, we start from Miss Matthew," it was Ginny, one of Julia's friends. Quite interesting. They talked and giggle before pushing Ginny to the judo mat.

" Okay, you can choose your opponent,"

" I choose Jane!" she said, with a cheerful and bright voice. Krissy and Luna looked at Jane. She's turning blue. Julia's clan giggles again. They might know something. It's very obvious! They tried to pick her up. It's kinda trouble.

" Sorry coach, but she's not feeling well today," Krissy giving an excuse for her dismissal.

" Woah, it's so sudden! Why, are you sick or afraid?!"

" Chicken!" the whole class booing her out of blue. She just looked down. I feel sympathy.

" Let me take her place, coach!" Luna volunteer.

" What? You?! Oh my gosh, just forget it! With your weak leg, you're not in my league!" Ginny smirked. Luna just ignores it. She stood up and went into the ring.

" I don't care! Let's begin!"

" Okay, if it's what you wish for!" Ginny swing a powerful punch. Luna felt down. I could hear her cry. But, she keeps on standing up.

" Take this!" Ginny grabbed her collar and threw her down. I could hear a crack sound. Luna cried in pain.

" That's enough!" Jane suddenly stood up. Everyone was shocked. She looked at Ginny with red eyes.

" I'll fight you.." her voice was slow but sounded so sharp. Ginny smirked. She went into the ring. She looked at her with sharp eyes.

" Ready, fight!" within seconds, Ginny flew through the air and fell like a heavy rock. Everyone's jaw dropped. I was so damn sure the one who flew up was Ginny.

Jane just stood up, with a good stance. Ginny swings her leg to take her down, but Jane manages to abort that and rolls aside. Jane remains calm.

" I'll fight her!" Judy takes a turn. She walks into the ring. Ginny had already pushed herself out of the 'war zone. They looked at each other.

Judy makes a move, but Jane pushes her with a calm face. She tried to lock her, but in the end, she fell by herself. Everyone was amazed by Jane's speed and ability. She looked like a professional. With calm on her face.

" I thought she's weak!" Frank whispered in my ear. Me too, Frank! This is a whole new thing for me too!

Judy looked tired and almost pass out. It's Julia's turn. She walked in with confidence. Yes, everybody knew she is a good judoka. Even had a black belt.

They stared at each other. Jane looks tired but remains calm. Julia walked towards her. She spoke something in a low voice. I could see Jane's face turn glooming. But, all of sudden she smirked.

The 'fight' began. It was quite rough and serious. Both of them seem like going to kill each other. But, the overconfident bites oneself. Jane locks Julia's hand very hard. She's in pain but manages to get free.

Suddenly, Julia grab Jane's belt and untied it. The uniform was exposed. Everybody gasps. It's just a camisole, a white camisole with lace and... super provocative. Jane's in shock. She warps herself fast. All the boys screamed with excitement. Julia smirked.

Suddenly, Jane ran and grabbed Julia's collar, take down her leg and throw her hard onto the mat. She's struggled a bit. Jane pulls out something from the trouser's pocket, and headlock her until she cried in pain.

" That's enough!" the coach ended the sparring session. Jane let Julia go. She's coughing, gasping for air. Jane stood up, didn't realize she exposed herself. Julia looked unsatisfied. She tried to knock on her but suddenly the bell rang.

Everybody rushes into the gym locker. But, the boys just stood there wooing at Jane's body. She got quite a sexy body. I stood up, walked toward her, and hug her.

" Sorry, but it's too much exposure!" I chuckled. I looked at her hand. She was holding her shirt. Oh, this shirt might probably be the thing that she pulls out from Julia's pocket.

" Show's over!" Frank swished all the boys back to the class. It just left her and me.

" She said if I let her win she will return my shirt.. but I know she's just lied," she spoke with a deep voice. I pushed her back a little. She was crying.

I pull her judo uniform and wrap her properly.

" It's okay. You did quite a good job. Better, I guess!" I smiled at her. She suddenly laughed sheepily.

" At least, I learn something new about you today.."

" Which part?"

" All of it!" I pointed to her whole body. Suddenly, she sweeps her leg and I fell.

" Ouch! That's hurt!"

" Pervert!" she just smiled. I stood up and laughed.

Well, that's the day when I realized, I should know her better!

After the incident, my classmates took quite good attention to her. She's gradually become every men's desire. It's quite a bitter fact. I tried my best to brainwash everyone, but the harm has been done and there's nothing I can do.

Jane was okay with the situation. But, she didn't like it very much. But at least, Julia's clan avoided her very much. And life becomes easy for her. At least, until then.
