Rudeus grabbed Paul by the neck and throw him back, sending him crashing through the wall to the hallway.

"GAH!!what are you doing Rud-" Paul coughed blood from his mouth as his throat was almost crashed, when he was going to question what was rudeus doing, he saw that instead of his son, he saw a darkness in front of him, this darkness mad him feel death, something he didn't feel for years.

" you have really done it now" Said the angry Rudeus

when Paul heard the voice of Rudeus he looked at his son and trembled, Rudeus red eyes were glowing making Paul scared.

"R-Rudeus!!" Paul couldn't talk properly, his mind was coming back to him and he Remembered what was he doing. his body trembled more and sweat was coming out of him, he looked at Lilia who was crying and holding her body as she hide behind Rudeus.

"I...I...GGaaah!!!" before Paul could explain himself Rudeus shot a red beam from his finger towards Paul's thigh making a small he in it. Paul was rolling in the Ground from the pain.

" You really wanted to Risk everything and destroying this family just for a moment of Satisfaction " Paul was still holding his thigh in pain as heard Rudeus speak he looked at him and he saw Rudeus with Tears on his face. no matter of how much if jerk is Paul he was clearly hurt seeing his son cry then the from pain in his leg.

"Rudeus... I...I wasn't in my mind" Paul tried to explain

"Explain??... Explain what??" Rudeus was very angry and sad as he was just about to witness his family Destruction. his feeling were complicated, he couldn't help but imaging what will happened if his mother was the one to see this, he looked at his father and said

" answer me...do you really want to risk destroying this family and mother's smile just for this ... tell me, do you think that my mother deserve this from you..."

"anybody can tell that my mother have complete trust in you, she knew about your past nature, but still she loved you, and you promised her, to leave that in the past..."

"I don't knew if you realized this or not but the thing that is making this family strong is the trust and love my mother have for you,, without that this family wouldn't be able to survive till now."

Rudeus was speaking from his heart he couldn't control his emotions anymore he really wanted to kill Paul but... again he was his father... how can he bear to hurt him,

as for Paul the more he heard his son talk the more his heart gained more pain. the pain in his leg couldn't compare to the pain in his heart anymore. but the next words made him feel even worst.

Rudeus looked at Paul in the eyes and said with a sad and hurt face "father...I don't want to loss my family."

Paul looked at Rudeus and Lilia before he said"Rudeus...Father is wrong...see, I promise I won't ever do this again... " Paul's face was having a terrible expression of desperation and fear his eyes had tears in them about fall, he looked at his son before crushing his head in the floor and screaming while crying " BOTH OF YOU... I AM VERY SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR MY MISTAKE " Paul kept on hitting his head on the floor while apologizing to Rudeus and Lilia.

" you know-" before Rudeus could say anything the three of them heard something that seemed like a nightmare to them.

" I am hoooome~" zenith came back.

also you may think that the MC became weak emotionally or changed... but he just became too attached to his family and afraid to lose it more than anyone.

I am sorry for those who want Paul to die but I am planing on making him realize the Value of a family
