Kissing Contest

Aaron and Aphmau were sitting on a towel, and Aaron said: "It feels so nice to finally get some alone time with you, Aph. Honestly, it feels like there's always something interrupting us." He says, leaning his head on her shoulder. "But now, it's just you, me, the ocean, a blanket, and Nicole... NICOLE!" Aaron says. "Uh, yeah, sorry if I'm interrupting anything. Um, Aph... It's time..." Nicole says. "Oh no, I had sincerely hoped they just forgot..." Aphmau says. "Well, they didn't, unfortunately." Nicole says. "What's going on?" Aaron asks. "Aaron, listen... Before I tell you this, let's go back to the house, okay?" Aphmau says. "Oh, um, okay." Aaron says, walking with them.

They arrive at the house and Aaron sits on the couch. "So, a week before we came to Love ~ Love Paradise, Nicole decided to enter her and I into a contest, without even asking me first." Aphmau says. "Hehehe, sorry." Nicole says. "What kind of contest?" Aaron asks. "Promise not to get mad?" Aphmau says. "Get mad? Why would I get mad at you, honey?" He says. "I'm sure he'll understand. After all, it was an accident." Nicole says. "Okay... Here it goes... But, just in case: I'm sorry." Aphmau says.

"I can't believe you found a way to get tickets to Love ~ Love Paradise on such short notice, Nicole!" Aphmau says. Nicole chuckles nervously. "Yeah, well, I had remembered you talking about how you wanted to take Aaron on a vacation, and as your friend, I figured I'd do this for you!" Nicole says. "Well, thank you so much. I really want to make this summer special for Aaron, since it's our first summer as a real couple. Anyway, what do we need to do to get those tickets?" Aphmau says. "Well..." Nicole starts

"A kissing contest?! No way! My lips are only for him!" Aphmau says. "Oh, come on, Aph! The only reason these two cuties agreed was because I told them they'd be able to kiss you!" Nicole says. "No. I'm sorry, Nicole. But this just isn't worth it." Aphmau says.

Guy walks over to Derek and Elizabeth, who had only done this because they wanted to get the tickets. "Woah, you two seem like a perfect match! Gongrats! You get tickets to the next phase!" He says. "Woohoo! We did it, Liz! Yes!" Derek yells, before accidentally bumping into Nicole in his excitement, causing her to accidentally kiss Aphmau. They both scream. "Woah! Yeah! You two totally have some chemistry, as well! Congratulations, you also get tickets to phase two!" Guy says. They were both too flustered (and traumatized) to reply.

"And there we have it, you lovely dudes and dudettes: the winners of the kissing contest. Thank you all so much for participating. I'm sure our contestants are going to love the next phase." Guy says. "I'm still so glad that we won, Liz! It's a shame that we have to go with... Her..." Derek says, glaring at Aphmau. "But, it's fine! It's not like she's dating Aaron or anything!" Derek says. "Are you ever going to get over that grudge you have, Derek?" Elizabeth says. "Huh? Sorry! I was checking my phone!" Derek says. Elizabeth sighs. "We... Will never speak of this..." Aphmau says. "R-right..." Nicole says.

"So, you two... Kissed?" Aaron asks. "Uh, yeah... You're not mad, are you?" Aphmau asks. "Of course not! It was an accident!" He says. "An embarrassing accident..." Nicole adds. "Hey, look on the bright side! At least neither of the adults kissed you. Now, that would have been traumatizing." Aaron says. "Eh, I guess that's true." Nicole says. "Anyways, Aph, if there's ever another kissing contest, you could always ask me to enter!" Aaron says. Aphmau chuckles. "I'll keep that in mind, Cherry." She says. Guy then walks in with Derek and Elizabeth. "Hello, you three. I'm here to announce the next phase of the contest. Today we're going to be having a treasure hunt, of sorts!" Guy says. "Oh! That sounds like it would be a time to treasure!" Aaron says. "Don't you start! You were doing so well!" Aphmau says. "Well, pardon me if my puns aren't gold!" Aaron says. Aphmau then covers his mouth. "No more talking from you." She says, covering his mouth with her hand. "Anyways, on the island there is a tree with a heart carved into it, that smells of lavender. And once you dig below the tree, you will receive your reward." Guy says. "Ms. Elizabeth, you will be with Nicole, and Mr. Derek, you will be with Aphmau." Guy says. "Now, I'll be off. Good luck!" He says, before walking away. Derek laughs. "I'm gonna find that tree before either of you! You there. Aphmau. I don't know you, and frankly, I don't care about you, but I want to kick my friend's butt in a friendly competition! So, make yourself useful, and help me find a way to that tree!" Derek says, before running out of the door. "Well, you better get going. This might help him like you." Aaron says. "Uh, yeah, right." She says, before running out of the door as well. "So, uh, we should probably go look for that tree, right?" Elizabeth says. "Yeah, I mean, it is a competition." Nicole says. "Right. Um... I guess we'll be off too, then..." Elizabeth says. Her and Nichole then walk out of the door as well. "W-wait! I'm coming too!" Aaron says, running after them.

It took a while, but eventually, Aphmau and Derek managed to find the tree. "Congratulations, Aphmau and Derek! You've won the pack of our exclusive Love ~ Love Paradise tour around the islands tickets!" Guy says. "A cruise? With her? Nope! I'm out." Derek says. "Not like I wanted you on it either!" Aphmau says. "So, there seems to be quite a few tickets in here. That means I can choose whoever I want, right?" Aphmau says. "That is correct! You did win the contest, after all!" Guy says. "Hmm... How long do I have to decide?" She says. "A few days, so don't worry." He says. "Okay, thanks Guy!" She says. "Of course!" He says, before she walks away.
