Double Date... Again

Kim and Katelyn were sitting on the roof, talking. "So, how are things going with Travis? I know he's been a bit... distant, like usual." Kim says. "I mean, I think we're getting closer! It's been a while since he's ran away from me, so that's good!" Katelyn says. "Well, have you gotten around to taking him on a date yet?" She asks. "No, not really... The only time I took him on a date was..." She starts to say, before gasping. "I should take him on another double date! Since, the last one kinda became a triple date, I want to try again!" Katelyn says. "Well, I guess that's a good idea, but who would you take with you on the double date?" Kim says. "Well, I guess, you. You always seem cool with this sort of thing." Katelyn says. Kim chuckles. "As true as that may be, why not Aaron?" She asks. "Well, I already asked him once... Plus, I want to allow him and Aphmau to have some alone time." Katelyn says. "That's very considerate of you, Katelyn! And I suppose I could go with you! I just need someone to take." Kim says. "Why not Garroth?" Katelyn asks. "Garroth? Hmm... Well, I guess he is pretty cute... And it's not like it's a real date, so... Sure!" She says. "Oh, thank you so much, Kim!" She says. Kim chuckles. "Of course." She says.

"What?! Y-you want me to go on a d-double date with you?" Garroth says, as he blushes heavily. "It's just for Travis and Katelyn. It doesn't need to be real." Kim says. Garroth thinks for a moment. "O-okay, I'll do it." He says. "Great! It's in a bit, so just be ready!" She says. "Okay." He says.

Aphmau and Aaron were sitting at a table. "This was so sweet of you, Aphmau! Thank you so much!" Aaron says. "Heheh. Of course, Cherry. I wanted to make this evening special for you." She says. "Good evening you two. Is there any specific drink that you two would like?" A waiter says, as he walks up to them. "Um, I think I'll have the paradise lemonade." Aaron says. "Yeah, me too." Aphmau says. "Wonderful! I'll be right back with those drinks!" He says. "Um, Aph. I need to go to the bathroom. Do you think you could order for me?" Aaron says. "Sure thing, Cherry." Aphmau says. Aaron then walks to the bathroom. He didn't actually need to use it, he was just getting somewhat nervous. "It's okay, Aaron. You've been on... A few dates before. You can do this!" He says, looking in the mirror. Garroth then comes in. "Garroth? What are you doing here?" Aaron asks. "I-i... Um... I just... I'm on a double date." He says. "Oh, wait, what?! With who?" Aaron says. "W-with Katelyn and Travis." He says. "Katelyn and Travis?! Travis didn't tell me he was going on a date! So that's why he was being all weird and nervous earlier!" He says. "I... I mean... H-he seems like he's having fun..." He says. "Wait... You said this was a double date. So, who are you with~?" Aaron says. Garroth blushes heavily. "I-it's nothing serious! K-kim and I are just here to help Katelyn and Travis ha-" He starts to say. Aaron gasps dramatically. "Kim?! You're here on a date with Kim?!" He says. "N-no! I just t-told you! It's not a date." He says. "Huh. Well, Zane~Kun told me you had feelings for her back in highschool, so, I figured..." Aaron starts to say. "What?! Ugh! Zane!" Garroth says. "I'm sorry. I assume he wasn't supposed to tell me that?" Aaron says. "N-no, it's fine. He always does this sort thing. Um, anyway... I'm not focused on that. I'm just focused on making this a perfect date for them! B-but, it isn't going too well. Our waiter is terrible." Garroth says. "Hm... Well, don't you worry! I'll make sure this date goes perfectly! Just leave it to me!" Aaron says. "Oh, thank you so much!" Garroth says. "Of course!" Aaron says, before they walk out. Aaron then walks back to Aphmau, and sits at the table. "Hey Aph! Has our food come yet?" He asks. "Nope... Not even our drinks..." She says. Aaron groans. "We must have that terrible waiter as well." He says. "Terrible waiter?" She asks. "Aphmau, I need your help. Travis and Katelyn went on a secret double date that they didn't want anyone to know about. But what's worse is... THEY DIDN'T INVITE US!" He says in an over exaggerated sob. "That's not the worse thing, is it?" She asks. "But, what's even worse is that their waiter is ruining the mood between Katelyn, Travis, Kim, and Garroth!" He says. She sighs. "And you want to help them, I assume?" She says. "Um... Can we?" He asks, looking at the table. He then looks back to see Aphmau in the waiter uniform. "One step ahead of you, Cherry." She says. "You are so perfect for me." He says.

"Ugh... What's taking so long? I'm starving!" Travis says. "Hey, waiter! What's the hold up? My lovely gentleman is hungry!" Katelyn says, looking at the waiter. "Did you just call me your "lovely gentleman?" Travis asks. "Look, I don't get paid enough for this-" The waiter says, before Aaron pushes him out of the way, while laughing. "But I do!" He says. "Wait a second. You look kinda-" Kim starts to say, before being interrupted by Travis. "Don't care! Just give me food!" He yells. "Here are your drinks and your bread sticks." Aphmau says, giving them their drinks and bread sticks. "Awesome! I love bread sticks!" Kim says. "How did you get those so fast?" Aaron whispers. "I talked to the kitchen." Aphmau whispers back.

"Well, we don't want to work today." One of the chefs said. "Yeah, what makes you think you can make us." The other one said. Aphmau then gave them a death stare, and they immediately got to work.

"Heheh! Perfect! Now, ladies and gentlemen, your food will be out shortly. In the meantime, why don't you sit back and kiss Katelyn." Aaron says. "I will enjoy this bread- wait what?" Travis says. "I mean, uh..." Aaron starts. "I swear you look familiar..." Kim says. Aaron chuckles nervously. They then hear a baby crying. "Ugh, that baby has been crying off and on since we've been here." Travis says. "Hmph. I've got this!" Aaron says, before taking out a bat. "U-uh... A-aaron. What are you gonna do with that?" Garroth asks. "No, he's gonna-" Aphmau starts to say, before Aaron runs away with the baby. "APH! I GOT THE BABY!" Aaron yells. "HEY! THAT'S MY KID! GET BACK HERE!" A woman yells, as she follows him. "HOW DARE YOU MAKE THIS ADORABLE LITTLE CREATURE CRY?! DON'T WORRY BABY! I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU! RUN!" He yells, once again, as he runs away with the baby. "Man... That's one crazy waiter. But, he did get us food." Katelyn says. "Here you go. Your order. Now if you'll excuse me. I need to go save my boyfrie- um... coworker." Aphmau says, giving them their food, and then walking away. "Wow! Look at this food! It's beautiful!" Travis says. "Not as beautiful as you..." Katelyn says. "What the-" Travis says. "Please don't run!" Katelyn begs. "Heheh. Thanks for the compliment." Travis says. "Wait... You're not going to run away?" Katelyn says. "Nah... You're too adorable. Plus, my legs are tired..." He says. "Uh, thanks." She says. "Wow! It seems like their hitting it off great!" Kim says. "I-i know! I'm really happy for them!" He says. "I... Hope I can have some sort of relationship one day...." He mutters. "Oh, Garroth. I'm sure you will one day." Kim says, putting a hand on his shoulder. "U-um... Thanks for the confidence boost, I guess." Garroth says, blushing.

Aaron was sobbing and Aphmau was comforting him. "There, there. It's okay." She says. "I just love babies so much!" He says, continuing to sob.
