I know this is OP MC novel, but can the MC be like have a bit more maturity. I'm on ch 50 atm, but the cringe lines almost make me drop this, well I still reading it just for the fun *and sometimes laugh* so its OKish I guess. For those who like OP MC and sudden str gain, I guess this is a decent read.
Was looking forward to the story of Eckrit... A former champion who rebelled but his system, personality and story is boring... If the story had half the quality of I.M.I.T.A. I would stomach it because they are connected... The novel would have been better if it started when he was a fallen champion... What motived him to rebel against the primordials... Was interested in his USURP adventures a bit before he met Osmort... And how he changed after that... Early development could have been skipped and it wouldn't have affected the novel...Plus not every protagnist has to have a sad backstory... Maybe his parents could have died of old age because of lack of talent to progress further and increase their lifespan... Since it is important to the overall multiverse, if I was the author I would rewrite it to make it better...
The economy/cultivation in this novel is terrible. Terrible to the point that I can't keep going. The characters are decent, though not great. The plot is edge lord but provides motivation so I can accept it. The world is simple in presentation but seems like it could have some underlying complexity that makes it better than most. The sticking point for me is just how simple/broken the economy and the power system is. To go up a level of power, you need power cores. Power cores drop in dungeons at a rate of 10+ for the lowest level and seeming to halve in drop rate for each increase in level. It isn't clear how many power cores are needed to go up a level exactly but lets say it is 100 plus 5 of the next power level. A high level person should be able to EASILY make all of their kids the same level as themselves because of this. Yet, somehow they don't? The 'beloved' daughter of the strongest man on the planet is only in stage 3 of power when the father is stage 6. Would take less than 6 months of work for him to make her stage 5 but he doesn't because? All nobles seem to be the same as stage 4 is a huge deal that can rule a major city solo but somehow they never bother helping their kids get to the same level because? The economy is based on these power cores which means they have to be common (or there would be no way for an economy to function) yet somehow they are so rare that no one can use them to level up? It is a nitpick but it just pulls me out of any immersion every time this comes up which is often because it is kinda central to the story.
I really like this novel, but it's been on a break for quite some time and I don't know how to feel. I started reading infinite mana but I liked this one more and didn't find the other one that enjoyable. All in all I really like it and recommend it if you like op characters and a world that is similar to cultivation worlds in the fact that there is always a higher plane to ascend and it's one fo the things I like the most, besides the part that makes it unique in the idle. the only thing that you should take note for is that it's been quite some time since the start of the break and idk when it's going to be back.
Fantastic so far, one single criticism, im too impatient and need more soon, im not sure if can handle just two chapters a day. Love the writing style, love the plot, Love the character, i was concerned how this story was gonna compare to infinite mana, but its so far exceeding my expectations, has the potential to be even better!
I don't think mc with below IQ 100 can suddenly become mc with IQ 200 after witnessing his parents's death. First of all, if he tell his parents about system and help them or use wisely(don't use lazily), they would not have to die. In this novel, there is no need to revenge around because the cause of his parents's death is literally his naivety. Mc is ungrateful upon his nice parents.
Tbh I found this pretty boring and started skimming just after 5 chapters even tho I usually don't like skimming, main reason is that it had nothing to catch my interest. and it's pretty ironic how mc calls out other isekai novels as trash when this novel itself is slightly below average even by webnovel standards.
