I mean, you can bever judge a cuttlefish novel from the first 100 chapters as the conclusion of volume 1 is mind-boggling despite it being boring until near the end. i try not too spoil too much, but yep, there are now space travel, space ships, small army of alien trying to sneak past the barrier, outer gods, and angels who can make black holes and black dwarfs or travel faster than light or do nuclear stuff. we even see a glimpse of galactic civilizations who believe in great mothers or to inevitability. anyhow I encourage you to give coi another chance.
