The Interview

After the information Mr. Wilson passed to them, he went back inside the room.

Miss Katerina please come in for your interview a secretary called. One of the lady from the back walked into the room and after about thirty minutes, she came out looking Soo sad. As she passed by, she have Betty a death stare.

"Oh God please save me, help me get this job. I need to pay my debts and repay grace for her kindness" Betty said a silent prayer.

The next person went in and after few minutes came out. This went on until her turn came.

Miss Betty you are next the secretary called but she was lost in her thoughts she didn't hear when she was called. "Betty? The lady sitting next to her tapped her and asked are you miss Betty Cruz? Yes why ? Betty asked. The secretary has been calling you. "What! She stood up, here I am present" the others laughed at her dumbness. "Miss Betty if you you're not ready for a job you should have stayed at home please come in we have more people to attend to, Mr Wilson doesn't have the whole day".

She bit down her lower lip so she could hurt herself for being so dumb.

When she entered the office, she was mesmerized by the beauty of the office. She couldn't help but say "it's beautiful".... "You can say that again" Wilson replied, "oh did I say that out loud? But honestly this is really beautiful"

"Please have your sit miss Betty" Wilson said directing her with his hands. She sat down on the couch, she felt the soft texture of the sofa. Even Thier furniture is the best. She kept looking around the office.

"Are you single"? Wilson asked gave her a different look, "yes sir" Betty answered as she sat properly. "Then why are you lost in you thoughts"? I saw you from the monitor, you were absent minded, do you have something important to attend to? Wilson asked her again without any expression. "Am sorry sir, it won't happen again".

That's okay, you should be grateful that it wasn't my boss, you might be sent home immediately, and a reminder; if you're opportuned to work here, you should not be absent minded, my boss hates it. He said while going through the computer. "Noted sir, I'll be careful from now on" betty replied.

"I've gone through your resume that you sent to our email, your grades in High school are pretty good. You're the kind of person we need for this job. But the question is "are you competent"?

Betty hesitated for a few second before she answered "Yes sir, I'll try to give my best to serve the company" Betty said giving a beautiful smile. He nodded his head, "being a P.A to our CEO is not an ordinary job, we need your sincerity and mostly devotion" and this job can be a little difficult, because you can work over time mostly 24/7 obviously that's what the job means.

You are going to be his personal assistant, you will get an accommodation and a car and a pay of $40000 monthly. "So will you take the job?" Wilson asked her.

Hearing the amount, betty calculated in her head, if I can work for 4years I can save up some money and get my house . She quickly said "yes sir I promise to give my 100% devotion and time" she smiled .

"You know, you have a very beautiful smile" Wilson said as he looked at her. Betty blushed, her cheek turned red like a tomato.

After few minutes of silence, Betty didn't know what the outcome will be, Wilson had gone outside to make a call. Betty kept bitting her lip and eating her nails. Then the door to the office opened, Wilson walked in.

He stared at her, Betty heart almost exploded with anxiety. She tried to calm herself down, but it wasn't working. She didn't know if she would be hearing good news or bad news, she tried to brace herself for anyone that comes. She shut her eyes tight, and all of a sudden.

"You're hired" Wilson said calmly breaking Betty from her anxiety. "WHAT! I mean really? Am hired? Omg, I can't believe this, thank you very much sir. You won't regret hiring me" Betty was all shades of happiness, anyone could see that her happiness and appreciation was genuine. Wilson was happy to see someone as honest as Betty.

"Okay let me make a proper introduction. My name is Wilson Randolf manager and best friend to the CEO" he said as he stretched out his had for a handshake, Betty accepted it and said " like you know, am Betty Cruz, the personal assistant to the CEO".

Wilson laughed, "you have such a good humour, okay congratulations on becoming the P.A to our CEO. WELCOME TO VICTORIA EMPIRE, he said with a smile. " Thank you very much sir" Betty replied as her smile broadned the more.

"I will forward the details to your email, you will resume work on Monday" and congratulations again, wishing you the best of luck .Wilson said to her. "Thanks again sir for giving me this opportunity and finding me worthy to be here, am greatful.

The secretary came in and showed Betty the way out, Betty was over the moon, she couldn't wait to give grace this piece of goodnews.

As Betty left Wilson said " i have alot of explaining to do to the CEO" I just hope he likes her.
