Chapter 56 The War Begins

"Bruce, I don't expect you to trust me that much, nor do I need you to believe me. But at least our current enemy is the same, and I'll also leave this universe after resolving these matters. So you don't need to place too much attention on me and Pietro."

Austin's tone was very calm. Furthermore, he had long decided to leave this universe after dealing with General Zod.

"What about us then?" Seeing Austin follow Bruce, Young Barry couldn't help but ask. After the previous scene, he was a little afraid of Kara.

"You guys stay here and look after Barry and Kara. Pietro, go buy some food."

After saying that, Austin directly followed Batman into the lab.

By the time Barry Allen on the other side woke up from his coma, it was already the next morning.

Soon, under Barry's guidance, the conversation shifted from Kara coming to find trouble, to Barry telling Kara about Superman in another world. Of course, he skipped the part about Superman perishing with Doomsday.

This was still quite effective on Kara. Hearing her cousin was living well in a parallel universe and even found a wife brought an indescribable sense of relief to her heart.

"Can you take me to see him?" Kara asked.

This question immediately twisted Barry Allen's expression. "Kara, recklessly traversing timelines is very dangerous. I've deeply understood my mistakes, so I believe you also don't wish to make the same errors as me, right?"

"I can't even just see from afar?"

"Probably not. I can traverse timelines due to the Speed Force, but I'm still far from being able to bring others to time travel. Moreover, bringing you as you are now to another future is simply impossible," Barry Allen spread his hands helplessly.

"Then how did Austin do it?" Kara glanced at Pietro playing on his phone and continued, "He and Austin can freely traverse all sorts of timelines and parallel universes, right?"

Barry Allen reached out to massage his temple, then moved closer to Kara and whispered,

"You know, Austin once said he uses professional tools to make 'traversing' 'reasonable'. So I suspect those two may be time police who specifically manage people like me who damage timelines."

Hearing Barry Allen's confident speculation, Kara merely rolled her eyes. Although young mentally, she wasn't an idiot. If Austin really was a so-called "time policeman", he would have taken action long ago when Barry Allen changed history, not wait until now.

However, she did have some thoughts regarding the "professional tool" Barry mentioned. She quickly recalled the somewhat bizarre device in Austin's hands.

Could it make traversing reasonable?

Seeing Kara fall silent, seemingly lost in thought, Barry Allen slightly relaxed. Having to entertain this "elder sister" ever since waking up really exhausted him mentally and physically.

At this time, the wall-mounted TV on the dining table suddenly cut to an emergency news broadcast. It was footage shot from afar showing a war - explosions continuously happening to military planes and tanks, though very blurry.

And at the bottom of the news footage, there was a line labeled with the title - Aliens Have Launched Attack!!!!
