Chapter 42 - USJ Arc IV

Nomu grabbed Aizawa's left arm. With the force he applied, the bones in Aizawa's arm broke like sticks. "Aaaah!" cried Aizawa in pain. But Nomu didn't stop there. He grabbed his arm, lifted him like a rag doll and slammed him to the ground. He then broke his right arm and legs. Nomu grabbed Aizawa's head and slammed it down. The impact cracked Aizawa's skull and deformed his face. While Nomu broke Aizawa's skull, Izuku and Tsuyu watched from the lake near the centre. All the fingers of Izuku's left hand were broken. During the teleportation, he and Tsuyu had landed in the flood zone. Since Izuku couldn't use his power yet, he dealt with the villains using his fingers.

Tsuyu, on the other hand, had some cuts on her body. She had received superficial wounds during the fights she had fought. Both of them watched in terror as Nomu broke Aizawa. "Hahaha, what happened, hero? I thought you were going to take care of me?" said Tomura, leaning towards Aizawa with a hand to his ear. At that moment, Kurogiri teleported to his side. "Tomura Shigaraki, one of the students managed to escape. The plan has failed. We must retreat," Kurogiri said calmly. "DAMN IT! If you weren't going to get us out of here, I would have killed you, right here, right now!" said Tomura, scratching his neck so hard that he tore his skin.

At that moment two things happened, the USJ's power came back on. And there was an explosion at the centre. A huge cloud of dust covered the area where Nomu and Aizawa were. "I guess I exaggerated a little bit, didn't I, sensei?" came a voice out of the dust cloud. With the explosion in the centre, Tomura and Kurogiri was thrown backwards, hitting the ornamental pool behind them and destroying it. Izuku and Tsuyu were thrown into the lake offshore. When the dust cleared, Ikiru stepped on Nomu's open brain and stood over him. Beside him floated the unconscious body of Aizawa. He raised his left hand towards the lake, pulled Izuku and Tsuyu, who was in the lake, towards the centre, and dropped them on the ground.

"You two, take Aizawa-sensei and get out of here, I'll take care of the rest," Ikiru said, looking at Izuku. Tsuyu immediately nodded and took Aizawa's arm. "But..." began Izuku, before he could finish, "Hahahah, there's a secret boss in the section! Nomu!" said Tomura as he emerged from the ornamental pool's debris. At Tomura's command, Nomu tried to crawl out from where he was stuck. Five seconds passed, then ten, but Nomu was stuck. Tomura's face contorted in surprise. "I told you to leave, I'll deal with these losers," Ikiru said sharply. Izuku recovered from his shock, and nodded, taking Aizawa's other arm. Quickly, they made their way to the entrance area.

After they had moved some distance away, "Who are you? How can you hold Nomu back?" asked Kurogiri, squinting his eyes. "Nomu! KILL HIM!" shouted Tomura. At Tomura's shout, Nomu tried to grab Ikiru with his arms. Ikiru dodged Nomu and floated up into the air. Nomu was still pinned to the ground, Ikiru pressing on him with his telekinesis. Nomu punched the ground with all his strength. With Nomu's punch, the floor shattered into pieces, cracks like spider webs spreading across the floor. Nomu finally freed himself from his imprisonment and was about to leap up and attack Ikiru when he said, "Who gave you permission to speak? Who told you you could move?" said Ikiru as he let all his psychic power radiate, lifting Nomu, Tomura and Kurogiri into the air.

"Know your place!" said Ikiru, his eyes glowing with psychic power. His aerial image was that of an untouchable god. His golden and black image made him unquestionable. Tomura's eyes were wide open in shock. Kurogiri was preparing to escape at any moment. Nomu was struggling in the air and trying to move. But the force Ikiru was exerting on Nomu was so great that his bones were breaking and healing again. "This is IMPOSSIBLE?! Who the hell are you? How can you hold Nomu back, I SHOULD HAVE A WEAPON TO KILL THAT ALL MIGHT!!!" said Tomura, madness in his eyes. Just then there was an explosion at the entrance of the USJ. "Finally," thought Ikiru. Tomura and Kurogiri looked up at the top of the stairs rising from the centre to the entrance. "It's okay, why? Because I AM HERE!" said All Might, making his entry in all his majesty. Then, without wasting any time, he attacked the villains in the centre with nightmarish speed. Before the villains realised what had happened, they had lost consciousness.

Seeing All Might in action, Ikiru decided to flex a little. He released Tomura and Kurogiri, but prevented Kurogiri from teleporting, at least he believed he did. All Might carry Izuku and Tsuyu to the entrance before they could react. He gritted his teeth even more when he saw Aizawa's condition. Just as he was about to move Ikiru away, Ikiru raised his hand, "No need, I'll watch from the corner while you deal with them." All Might was surprised that Ikiru could react to his super speed and even speak. But he didn't have time to think about it, he watched Ikiru float to the side. "Well done Young Ikiru, leave the rest to me," said All Might.

Then he ran at full speed and punched Tomura. Ikiru had released Nomu when All Might attacked Tomura. With All Might's punch, the air pressure exploded. With the explosion, a cloud of dust rose. A dark purple arm shot out of the dust cloud and punched All Might. "There you are, at last, ALL MIGHT! Welcome to your funeral!" said Tomura in madness. All Might blocked Nomu's punch with his arm and slid back ten metres. Nomu burst out of the dust cloud, running at All Might. "What is this monster, what an abomination you villains have created again!" said All Might.

"All Might! That monster's name is Nomu, they say they created him to kill you!" shouted Izuku from the top of the stairs to the centre. By then Nomu had reached All Might and punched him. All Might dodged the punch, got behind Nomu and grabbed his waist. He twisted his back, lifted Nomu and tried to slam his head down. Again there was a huge explosion of dust. Ikiru, meanwhile, was frowning. "I can't block this cloud man's Quirk. The only way is to kill him, but if he dies suddenly it's suspicious. Let's see how it goes," Ikiru thought.

When the dust settled, there was a portal where Nomu should have hit his head. Nomu had gone through that portal and exited through the portal that opened under All Might. He grabbed All Might's injured ribs and crushed the flesh. "Damn, he attacked my weak spot," All Might said in a reproachful voice. Ikiru was watching the scene from the air. He used his telekinesis and released All Might from Nomu's grip. As soon as he was free, All Might turned and punched Nomu in the brain. Nomu was sent flying through the portal opened by Kurogiri by All Might's punch. As Nomu flew into the air, Ikiru seized the opportunity and punched Nomu to the ground with all his power.

The momentum of the upward thrust, and Ikiru's punch, tore Nomu's neck. Just as his neck was about to snap, the regeneration Quirk kicked in and healed itself. Nomu crashed to the ground with a huge explosion. "All Might, deal with the one with the teleport Quirk first. I'll hold the monster back," Ikiru said. All Might was about to respond, "Damn it! This isn't over! We'll be back!" said Tomura as he disappeared through the portal Kurogiri had opened. A portal had opened beneath Nomu. But Ikiru, aware of everything, refused to let Nomu go. He grabbed him with his Telekinesis and made him float.

All Might cough up blood, "Well done young Ikiru. At least we managed to catch this monster," All Might said, giving Ikiru a thumbs up. With All Might's words finished, Tenya and all of U.A.'s teachers entered the USJ. "All Might, I'll leave this monster to you, I'm going to check on Momo," Ikiru said, putting Nomu down. With Tomura gone, Nomu was motionless. With Ikiru's departure, Shoto and Bakugo arrived in the centre area. All Might asked Shoto to freeze Nomu and trap him. Meanwhile, Momo, along with Jiro and Denki, were neutralising the villains in the downpour area.

Ikiru broke through the roof of the area. He began to fly to Momo's side. "Momo, I think that's the last of them," Jiro said as she kicked the villain who had attacked her in the jaw. Momo was standing with a long iron staff in her hand. When she heard the explosion, she looked up at the roof of the area, "It doesn't matter now," she said with a smile. At that moment, from the roof of the building next to them, two villains jumped on them. One looked like a wolf, with a mutant Quirk. The other emitted a pink glowing light from his hands. Ikiru quickly flew to Momo. He used the diamonds from his costume again and wounded the villains. He landed hard, and where he landed, it shattered. The floor cracked like spider webs. "The attack is over, the leaders have escaped. I miss you Momo," Ikiru said with a smile, walking up to Momo and hugging her. Denki stood on the sidelines, looking at them jealously.
