Chapter 41 - USJ Arc III

Aizawa immediately started running towards the centre of the plaza. He already had his glasses on. "Dude, are these guys stupid? Isn't the U.A. the most pointless place for villains to attack?" asked Kirishima. "Well, they're not that stupid, since the U.A. security alarms still haven't gone off. They must have someone with them who has the signal jamming Quirk. So it can be said that they planned this attack," said Shoto. Meanwhile, Tomura, standing in the centre of the plaza, said, "He was supposed to be here! You said All Might would be here!" he said while scratching his neck. Kurogiri replied in his usual robotic speech, "The information we received said he would be here."

Their conversation was overheard by the 1-A class. "We must act now. By standing here, we are a danger to Aizawa and ourselves. As Todoroki-san said, the signals are down. We need to contact All Might and the other teachers as soon as possible to support Aizawa," Ikiru said, looking at Thirteen. "Everyone run to the exit now, I don't want anyone getting involved!" said Thirteen as she led the class to the exit door of the building. "Aizawa-sensei is mostly strong in raids and one-on-one battles, are we doing the right thing by leaving him alone with so many villains?" asked Izuku worriedly.

"We can help him by using our Quirks. But we are still students, so if any of us get hurt, Aizawa-sensei will be responsible. I'm sure Thirteen wants to help him, but her speciality is rescue work. Besides, her Quirk isn't suited for fighting, any attack could easily kill someone," Momo said as she ran to the exit door of the building. Meanwhile, Aizawa was diving in between the villains, neutralising them one by one. He used his Quirk to override their Quirk, then used his ropes to beat them.

"Eraser Head, what a nice Quirk you have! How fierce you are! But can you defeat so many people by yourself?" said Tomura with bloodlust in his eyes. "Tomura, the students and Thirteen are trying to escape. I will stop them," Kurogiri said as he teleported away, not waiting for Tomura's answer. They had planned this attack at the long count, so the villains they had brought to the USJ weren't just the ones in the centre of the plaza. Kurogiri teleported in front of the USJ's exit door. "Hello, Thirteen and Students. I regret to inform you that you cannot leave the building. Not until All Might is dead!" said Kurogiri.

At Kurogiri's words, Thirteen and most of the class became nervous. "We are a league of villains. We invited ourselves to U.A. High School. I can't let you leave until All Might take his last breath," Kurogiri said. Just as Thirteen was about to attack, Bakugo and Kirishima moved faster. Kirishima punched Kurogiri's dark smoky body as Bakugo created an explosion. "Ah, that was dangerous. You, youngsters, are full of potential. But I can't let you block me!" said Kurogiri, unharmed by the attacks. "You two get back now!" said Thirteen, pointing a finger at the spacesuit she was wearing at Kurogiri.

If Bakugo and Kirishima had not stepped in front of her, she could have easily neutralised Kurogiri. Before Bakugo and Kirishima could react, Kurogiri attacked. The smoky dark cloud that formed his body grew and covered the 1-A students. Ikiru was looking at Momo when Kurogiri attacked. Momo realised what Ikiru meant. He was instructing her to follow his previous plans. Momo shook her head, "Calm down, Momo. Ikiru will take care of everything. Focus on your goal!" thought Momo.

As the rest of the class was teleported out by Kurogiri, Tenya grabbed Ochaco and Rikido and pulled them out of the portal, while Hanta Sero used the cellophane tape to free himself from the portal. The rest of the class teleported to different areas of the USJ. These areas included ruins, mountains, landslides, floods, downpours and conflagrations. Ikiru teleported to the conflagration area with Mashirao, his tail Quirk. Momo, with Jiro and Denki, teleported to the mountain area. As soon as Ikiru exited the portal door, he began to float. He immediately used his telekinesis, throwing around the lizard man and the hedgehog-haired woman who attacked him. Exiting the portal, he turned to Mashirao, "Mashirao, we don't know each other very well, but we don't have time for that right now. I know your Quirk and what you can do, don't ask me how I know. Since my Quirk and fighting style is more individualised, I will fly in and take care of most of the villains in this area," Ikiru said, just as the lizard man and the hedgehog-haired woman he had flown back attacked again.

The lizard man again chose close combat while the hedgehog-haired woman, using her hair, fired at Ikiru and Mashirao. Ikiru raised his left hand towards them, and as he raised his hand, the embroidery of olive branches on his chest, and the black diamonds were ripped off and shot towards them. The diamonds were as fast as bullets, instantly piercing the arms and legs of the lizard man and the hedgehog woman. The olive branches broke into pieces in the air and joined end to end like rope, binding their hands and feet. The unused pieces came back in front of his chest and merged with his costume. "I'll leave the rest to you, remember to be careful!" said Ikiru as he flew away.

"Man, that's not fair. This guy is very strong. But why is he in such a hurry?" said Mashirao. He then checked the villains Ikiru had left on the ground. Since it was a conflagration area, the buildings were in flames. Using his tail, Mashirao swayed between the street lamps. Meanwhile, Ikiru was hunting down the villains he had located with the Zone. At the centre of the USJ, another battle was taking place. Even though Aizawa was fighting against the numbers, he was still able to hold his ground. The problem was that his eyes were drying up as time passed.

"21... 22... 23..." said Tomura as he attacked Aizawa. "You were foolish to attack here. And it will cost you dearly," said Aizawa as he ran towards Tomura, ducked and dodged Tomura's punch. He blocked the hand that tried to grab his face with his right elbow. "You're really good, HERO! But your eyes are getting dry, aren't they? Your hair stands up when your Quirk is active. YOUR HAIR IS NOT STRAIGHT NOW, HERO! Hahahah!" said Tomura as he activated his Quirk. Aizawa's right elbow began to rot and dissolve. Aizawa immediately blinked, and activated his Quirk, kicking Tomura.

Tomura threw his hair back, "Hahaha HERO, what happened? Are you hurt? What about the people whose bones you just broke? Aren't they hurt? haha haha" Tomura laughed. Meanwhile, Aizawa was surrounded by the villains attacking him. He was still struggling with one arm. On the other hand, at the entrance, Kurogiri was still fighting the Thirteen. "Black hole, what a marvellous power. What a marvellous Quirk, but you're so inexperienced in using it, aren't you, Thirteen?" asked Kurogiri and just as Thirteen was about to answer, a portal door appeared behind her.

Kurogiri had opened a portal in front of him, and a portal behind Thirteen. Before Thirteen could react, she was attacked by her own power. The space suit she was wearing was ripped to shreds and her skin began to peel off. Thirteen belatedly stopped her Quirk. " Tenya, don't stop any longer, move now! You've got to warn the teachers! Start running at once, save us!" said Ochaco. The Tenya was conflicted within himself. Part of him wanted to stay and help his teacher and classmates, the other part wanted to run and call for help. With Ochaco's reminder, he didn't hesitate any longer and started running. "Hold on until I get back! I'll get help as soon as I can!" Tenya shouted as he ran.

"Where do you think you're going? Who permitted you?" said Kurogiri, trying to cut Tenya off. "Run, we'll hold him back!" said Rikido Sato. as he punched Kurogiri's yoke. Kurogiri was caught off guard by the attack. "I TRUST YOU!" shouted Tenya as he ran. "I won't let you, boy!" said Kurogiri as he extended his smoky cloud of darkness towards Tenya. "Don't stop, Tenya!" said Ochaco as he touched Kurogiri's yoke, making it weightless. As Kurogiri began to float in the air, Hanta Sero used his Quirk to pull cellophane tape from his sleeve and wrapped it around Kurogiri's yoke. Then he tore off the tape and gave it to Rikido. Rikido pulled the tape with all his might.

With their efforts, the Tenya finally managed to get out of the USJ. Running, he sprinted away. "I have failed, the plans have collapsed," Kurogiri said in his usual robotic speech. He then teleported himself to Tomura's side. Meanwhile, Aizawa defeated the last villain in the centre. Tomura applauded, "Well done, HERO, you really did it. You're good at using your Quirk. But no matter how powerful your Quirk is, it is useless against true power." "When I defeat you, will you still be able to talk like that?" said Aizawa, breathless. "Aha, that's where you're wrong. I am not the final boss!" said Tomura with a smile. Just then, Aizawa saw a shadow rising above him. When he turned to his right, the monster was staring at him.
