Chapter 115:- Hiroshima Conquered

"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." - Harvey Dent (The Dark Knight)

He was hovering over the city as he said, "People of Hiroshima, I am Thanatos, the person in the video, the one who tortured and killed all those men, heed my command." his voice resounded around.

When his voice was heard, everyone stopped shouting and looked up to see a person clad in an all-black stealth suit with a black skull orca mask hovering over them. Even at that distance, the skull mask glinted with an unsettling shine, sending shivers down spines.

It was as if his red eyes were seeing their very being, scanning them inside out. A hushed awe fell over the crowd, not admiration, but a prickling awareness of danger and power held in check. He didn't need grand gestures or booming pronouncements to command attention. He was Thanatos, a silent storm waiting to break.

"I am the one who tortured Fourth Kind and made him spill the beans regarding his bad deeds, and now I promise to bring all the girls he has kidnapped and sold back safe and sound, and if god forbid they are dead then their bodies, with the utmost respect that they deserve, along with that I'll also hand you over Fourth Kind and other people who are responsible for your daughters' misery, but I need your help," said Izuku.

"What kind of help?" asked one middle-aged man from the crowd.

"I am not a political leader or congressman or someone that wishes to gain your favor for my own motives, nor am I a hero or villain who wants attention.

I am just an ordinary human, who sees the reality of society for what it is and not for what people are showing or telling it to be, I am someone who wants to bring true justice to these fake people, who misuse their authority for their own profits, not because I want something from you guys or one of my family's girls is a victim of his, not at all.

I am doing this because this is what my moral duty as a human is, no girl should have to suffer a fate like our daughters are going through, our girls don't deserve it whether the person doing it is a pro hero, police or anyone in power, they don't have the right to dictate our lives and do whatever they feel like.

You saw how Fourth Kind committed crimes under the guise of hero work, there are many heroes, who actually are villains, working with villains to commit crimes in secrecy, sometimes staging fake crimes, only to come on time and save the day, to win people over," said Izuku observing all the people who were intently listening to him with a look that said they had eaten the bitter pill before continuing, "Just like that there are many heroes, in Japan, similar to him, who are wolf in sheep's clothing, and I have made it my mission to bring true justice to them.

You guys, not just you, but all of Japan is my home, and I don't want anyone to harm my home or my family. It's time to clean those fake heroes and I need your help with it.

It's time to show those in power that you might not be in power, or have the right to freely use your quirks but when we are together, we can overthrow anything and everything you put your mind to.

I want your help in boycotting these fake heroes, making the message loud and clear that we don't need you.

I am willing to give you your power back, the right to use your quirk freely, atleast in a way where you aren't using it to harm others or bully someone, just like these fake heroes.

Under my leadership, I offer you the power that was your birthright, something you were born with, I want you to use those quirks of yours to take back your city from these fake heroes and government officials and show it to everyone if you put your mind into it then you don't need any judge jury, police or pro heroes, you can very well take care of it yourself, make a show.

A memorable one at that, prove it to the world that pro heroes, police are all public servants and the real power lies in your hands, and if the heroes take everything for granted, then you have the ultimate power to banish them.

You shouldn't be asking permission to use the quirks you are born with, when you just want to protect yourself from any dangers or stop these fake heroes.

Are you willing to help me bring true justice to all these fake heroes?" asked Izuku like a congressman, riling up the crowd, and gaslighting his audience.

This was his plan, turning the public against heroes. Just by revealing all the bad deeds done by the Fourth Kind, and acting like someone on their side and a victim just like them, he created familiarity between them, they all had a common thing, they were victims of pro heroes exploitation, and they could relate with each other on it.

Now that the majority of the crowd was focused on a single major problem, they forgot everything else and focused on bringing the people in power in Hiroshima down to their knees. And just like that he was able to cause chaos of this scale, something AFO had a lot of time to do, yet he failed at it miserably, well it doesn't change the fact that he felt really sorry for the innocent girls who had to suffer so much for just being born a girl, in the wrong city.

Keyword "Innocent" as he doesn't care what fate females have who have committed crimes which if males would have committed would be treated as if they committed the biggest sin of their lives, and punished as if the person getting punished isn't a human but a punching bag.

For those kinds of females, Izuku doesn't mind if they are reduced to a state worse then Ayame's

And Izuku succeeded in it marvelously, as people started cheering in his favor saying, "We'll help you," "We have had enough of these people making a joke out of us and exploiting us, now we'll show them what we are," and many such shouts.

Izuku was like a skilled politician who gave the public what they wanted, they had been living in a bubble of lies and deceit along with many being victims of it, whether they liked it or not, Izuku not only broke that bubble but also had the guts to take action against it, and the result?

The public assumed him as their leader, afterall it was he who brought this incident to light. And under Izuku's leadership, they thought what Izuku said was true, and could be achieved, and this gave them courage.

As humans, it's basic human nature, for people to follow someone who wishes to achieve the same things as them, and has the guts to take action for it.

Before this they hadn't met Izuku, heck they don't even know who is the person behind the mask right now, nor do they know the real intentions of Izuku behind this, but they were in deep emotional unrest, and Izuku's appearance was like a messiah who came to save those in need

Izuku's call for justice resonated with the crowd, and individuals began to voice their agreement.

The crowd cheered, shouting, "We'll help you!" "Enough of being exploited! We'll show them what we're made of!" Their voices echoed, united under the banner of true justice. "Long Live Justice," they cried, as Izuku's message took root in their hearts.

One citizen, a middle-aged woman with a determined glint in her eye, shouted, "I've had it with these so-called heroes! It's time for us to take control!"

A burly man near the front joined in, "They've been playing us for fools! Let's teach them a lesson they won't forget!"

Another, a young student, added with fiery enthusiasm, "We don't need fake heroes! We'll be our own heroes!"

"Give us our daughter back, you bastard," said a middle-aged couple who seemed to have lost their hope of seeing their daughter ever again, which was reignited by Izuku, as they wanted their daughter back.

As the collective voice of the people grew louder, Izuku continued, "Together, we'll expose the truth, and we'll reclaim our city from those who've exploited us for far too long.

Remember, your quirks are your power. Let's use them to bring down these false idols!" said Izuku

The crowd erupted in cheers, fists pumping in the air, and a chant emerged, "True Justice Will Prevail! Fake Heroes, your time is up!"

Izuku's plan unfolded seamlessly, the citizens now united under his banner, ready to challenge the corrupted system. The city's skyline bore witness to a burgeoning rebellion, a symphony of voices echoing the collective will of those who had endured deception for too long.

To fulfill one of his promises, he threw Fourth Kind to the hungry crowd, as he said, "Don't kill him too easily, humiliate him, torture him, make him beg for mercy, make him beg for death, which looks in near sight, only to survive it barely, living every day wanting to die, only to live the next day to suffer the same thing over the next day as well, torture him more then the daughters of Hiroshima were by him.

Make him pay for every sin, he has committed, under the guise of hero work, and once done, cut his head and place it as the entrance showpiece of his hero agency, and write why he got this punishment, with his blood, and put it on display for others, to mark it as the day fake heroes lost and public won, and what would happen to people who did things like Fourth Kind did.

Ohhh and make sure to record it well, let the whole world see what happens to people who break the public's faith." said Izuku as he hovered in the air starting to go somewhere, when he turned back and said, "You do this, till then I'll bring your daughters back," saying that Izuku teleported himself.
