Meanie Me!

Remus is trying to see if Ingrid is there while everybody in the village is happily dancing and singing some strange language around the big firewood.

" Peeping are we? " Selena appear behind him, not too far. Remus is shock but she is confuse why a white haired girl child is infront of her. Then he notice that she is not an ordinary child. " A witch hunter ? " Selena said when she see his spear and armour. Remus was gonna explain when Selena nails grew into a sharp nail and would attack him. But then when she will stab him, a white aura appears from the crystal and protected him. Selena tried to stab him again with her nails but it did not reach his body because a white aura appears to protect his whole body again. Selena is confuse but she see the white crystal in his neck. " I am not here to hurt you. " Remus said surrendering his two arms up and putting down his spear.

" This is a wind crystal, one of the four element. " Selena said. " Lightning cannot even touch you , how can a mere weapon goes through you. " she is talking about her nails. Then her nails went back to normal." I am looking for Ingrid. " Remus did not beat around the bush. " She is not here." Selena is telling the truth. " Go to the north. " she said. Remus believes her immediately and turn his back , plans to go back to the main quarter. " You need to hide. Tomorrow I will come back with more men. If you want to survive ,then hide. " Remus warn ther girl seriously. " Such a good child. I will give you a little gift because I am starting to be fond of you. " Selene said. Remus turn his head to see what the girl is talking about then Selena throw a dust in his face that makes him dizzy. " This is a dream dust, it can show you a peek of a future in a dream. All you can see is the truth and you can only use it once . Take it as my thank you for the warning. Hihihihihi..." A witch voice of Selene can be heard inside the ears of Remus as echo.

" Remus , wake up! " Valeria is tapping his shoulders as he was found lying on the ground unconscious. " Did you find anything ? " She is worried . Remus slowly shakes his head while standing. He then notice that only two men are with Valeria. " Where are the others? " Remus ask. " They insist to check around the area when they saw you unconscious. We have waited for how many hours and they got worried when you did not come back . " Valeria explain. Remus immediately walk to the tree behind it to make sure that the village is there but he is at ease when he did not see it. Then the men come back to report to him. " It is just a trees and wild grasses are here. We did not even find a living person,commander " one of the men report. " Maybe we are in the wrong place? " one of the men said. " We are at the right place. It is just that we have a wrong informant. Not all informant can be trusted. " Remus said. He is sure that what he saw and heard are real but he cannot say it loud. " So what is the plan now commander? " one of the men ask. " We will go back to the north. " he said. " And I am really excited to capture a witch! " one of the men said. " Someone is firstimer here! " one of them joke. They all laugh. They started to walk going back . " Remus are you okay? Something is bothering you? What happened to you? I have waited for the whole night? " Valeria ask. " Since when did you ask for too much questions? " Remus is serious. Valeria lower her gaze. " I am sorry. I forgot our boundary. " she said.

" Who did this to you?!" Ingrid's emotion are now mix because she see her mother . Her mother tounge is cut off that she cannot speak. And the first wife beside her is now dead. Veronica is shaking her head and pushing Ingrid to go out. " No!no!no! I will not leave you! " Ingrid is hugging her tightly. Veronica is crying. She scratch her palm with her nail to write something on the floor that is a rock. " You must go! You can't do this alone. Go! " Her mother write and then pushing her out of the jail. " No mother! It is now or never! " Ingrid is desperate this time. She sneaks at night where only twenty of the men are guarding the quarter. The thirty of the men are now sleeping and resting. That night the one incharge of the shift is Ramil, Remus father. Ingrid force her mother to come with her , but Veronica is weak and cannot even stand on her own so she needs to assist her. And this making them slower. Ingrid deactivated their alarm but it will be a matter of time before they will notice it. They did not even walk far when Salma is there. " Salma..." Ingrid said. " Do you think it will be that easy to escape from here? I notice everything , I let you sneak in and out easily for this purpose. " Salma stretch her arm upward and the fifty men appears holding diffirent weapon surrounding Ingrid and Veronica. " All I need is my mother and I will quietly go out of here . " Ingrid said while slowly putting her mother on the ground.

The surrounding is starting to be cold while Ingrid is chanting something in the wind, she created a whirlwind surrounding her and it gets getting bigger and bigger. The whirlwind avoid Veronica . Once it reaches Salma and the men surrounding them, they are thown intensely on the ground. Some of them even thrown at the walls violently. Then the whirlwind disappears. " If only I became your mother, such talent will not go to waste. " Salma whisper. The witch hunters are now having a trouble to stand because some of them have a broken bones . But Salma stands up as if nothing happens. She walks in front of Ingrid . Salma bite her index finger and a blood comes out. She splash it on the air and each droplets become a small needle , ready to attack Ingrid. " It is forbidden for witches to use blood as an ingredients, unless you do not have that skills and abilities. You have no choice. " Salma said while chanting. Ingrid is chanting again and a transparent wind barrier appear to protect her and Veronica. The needle cannot enter at first but because it is thin, It slowly enter the barrier to attack Ingrid. The blood needle enter directly to her heart. She is now in kneeling position because of the pain. The barrier is now gone and a purple liquid is coming from Ingrid's mouth. Veronica is now hugging her daughter and silently crying. "Hihihihihihi!... How is the taste of my poison blood? " Salma said. Ingrid is now in her knees.

Ramil cannot believe what is happening infront of him. Knowing that Salma is a witch, the power of the girl who have the same age as his son Remus and everything. Then now Salma put out her knife , slowly walking toward Ingrid who is now being hug by Veronica.
