Eight O'clock At Night
Excellent translation. Excellent discriptions of fight scenes. Engaging dialog between main characters. Inner monolog is not annoying and shows a lot of self discovery. If you are a guy, some parts might make you cringe. I couldn't help laughing. Sorry, not sorry. Cultivation isn't a heavy focus but developing fighting skill has a higher priority at this point. 40 chapters of decent length go by all to fast. If this was a printed book, I would buy every book in the series at this point. I can't wait for more. I really hope this gets picked for continuing with chapter releases.
Don't fall for the title. MC has nothing to do with the word intelligent. He got a A.I like calculative power and only uses it for martial arts.More like he only got martial arts in his mind and doesn't care about anything else. It's even more worse than the recent system novels with cowardly MCs. And MC doesn't even progress with his cultivation.
So many things to pick on but this is your below average novel. Has an AI but didn't even learn other things to at least have theory on how things should be but no he focused on martial arts even though it won't take him a day to learn other things like for example how to operate machines so that he could at least help If you want an MC who actually uses his AI cheat then I suggest you read Star Ranked Hunter, one of the top tier novels, I don't know if you will be able to find it here but just search on google Star Ranked Hunter
story is good upto heaven control realm after that it gets boring as story goes on chu ran(male lead) characterization gets worst(helps all female characters he meets but there is only one female lead upto now) and boring(too saintlye.g he wont even kill the villan who trys kill his family and friends)Story development too repeated strength development is not good from heaven control realmfemale leads too messy
It's not bad overall. The protagonist isn't a coward, but he is a bit stupid and useless, even with cheats. His strength seems to vary greatly and you never know if he'll stomp someone or struggle against someone, even if the cultivation level is the same. The protagonist starts out at the Overlord Body realm, which is basically just a step above complete beginner. After 160 chapters... he is still in the same realm, while his enemies for the last 130 chapters have been in a higher realm. Does this mean that he'll realize that he needs to start cultivating seriously? No, not at all. He's still spending all his time doing unimportant things. In a 160 chapters, this is basically what has happened: He got the analytical ability, he practices techniques (Doesn't cultivate), he joined a tournament and now he wants to apply to an academy and continue his school life. Yes, that's all that happened in nearly 200 chapters. That should tell you how slow this novel is.
