I honestly really enjoyed this fanfic during the earlier chapters, but after a certain point there start to be so many flashbacks and time skips that it becomes incoherent to read. if the flashbacks where consistent it would be different but during a single chapter I think it flashed back to 3 different time periods making it almost impossible to keep up.

I love MTL, from my understanding so far the MC is a woman who thinks she’s a man, and her sister is actually a boy. And unless the translator can edit it to say otherwise then there’s nothing anyone can say to make me believe that’s not the case…

Ahh I hadn’t realized that the MC was a woman, here I was thinking that they were a man this entire time.

It was going so well and the author decided to ruin it by nerfing the MC to hell and back out of left field! Like what the hell, the mc meets a childhood friend who accidentally cripples him with a light touch, despite the fact that he is regularly nearly beaten to death in the gates and always comes out fine. Yeah no, I’m not buying whatever illicit substances this author is selling..

The main thing that you should note about this novel is that the main character is an idiot, not only is he an idiot but he gets progressively dumber as the novel goes on. Now don’t get me wrong I like this novel quite a bit, I’ll always enjoy a good dungeon society/ skill stealing story but the main character is what one would call a battle junky with a bad habit of practically announcing that he has cheat like abilities to everyone and their grandmother. I’d give the world and overall story 5/5 But character design / development is a -3/5 for me.

I think the author forgot that the space bar exists, this fanfic is nothing more than chapter after chapter of run on sentences with no spacing at all. I originally thought it was just a few chapters of mistakes but now I’m convinced that they just don’t know how to type.

Honestly I was enjoying this fanfic, as a template system focused on swordsmanship it was interesting, but for the main character to suddenly out of left field get the ability to brainwash a jonin even if you claimed it was a genjutsu, which I don’t think it was ever stated that he possessed, Nah man I’m out next thing you know he’s gonna be a hive mind overlord and this is just gonna be another smut novel.

Another novel copied from FanFiction this one is called Yami: the gamer Kage and it’s by the author Imjusttryingtofindmyway. It is already finished and has 25 chapters with a total word count of 314k.

Mc is a bundle of social anxiety, I started reading this for the interactions between the characters but I think I’ll be dropping it for the lack there of. It’s like every time the author introduces a new person from the game the MC has an internal crisis and chooses to avoid them like the plague.

There’s no character development The story somewhat feels like a journal in the sense that there is almost no emotion involved in anything that happens.

Started out great but once you reach 60 to 80 chapters in it turns into the (next episode of dragon ball z) meaning the next 60 chapters are all one fight. It’s just filler and it’s boring filler at that.

Great novel! I love fishing abilities, unfortunately I can’t continue with this after chapter 19 because it is a completely illogical twist. Well here’s hoping that there’ll be a clone of this novel soon!

Honestly the story started out fine. I like the villain with a plot changing system type of story, but there are so many plot holes and inconsistencies especially in the later chapters I had to give up on reading it before making it to chapter 50. I think it’s a great first draft for a story but the author should probably use it as just that. I would love to see it rewritten and have those plot holes filled.

Uhg I feel sick trying to read this, the spacing is all wrong. I think this might be the first time I’ve ever gotten motion sickness from reading a novel.

I’m all for a multiversal shop type system but I think the author may have picked the wrong target audience to pair with it not to mention the Chinese idioms that really don’t translate well over to English.

The story is decent up until they introduce the fact that there are multiple reincarnated characters all who have fragments of the MC’s system. That in itself doesn’t ruin the story but it’s more the fact that almost all of the rest of the story is written in the perspective of those other reincarnated characters, after reading around 200 chapters I don’t think the author even remembers who the MC is anymore.

The story is just a excuse for the author to vent their necrophilia desires, the entire first world is just him describing how much he wants to have sex with a corpse. The system is fine but the author’s preferences made me want to puke within the first 20ish chapters.
