Chapter 15: Welcome to the studio next door

****At the end of time, Third-person P.O.V.

"incredible" he who remains remarked as he observed the ruthlessness that Sylvie displaced as she kicked Loki back to TVA.

she turned to face him as he laughed madly, she forced the table between them to move to the side with her hands with a grunt.

She tilted her head as she summoned a dagger in her hand before remarking," Don't want to beg for forgiveness?"

he looked at the dagger before shrugging his shoulders as he remarked," uhh, could. could. " before laughing again.

She suddenly stabbed him in the heart and he died without much ceremony.

Sylvie crumbled on the floor into a crying mess after achieving her life's ultimate goal.

she was not sure if it was worth it.

While this was all happening inside the fortress at the end, outside of it timelines started to branch themselves to give birth to a multiverse.

For a while, everything seemed to go fine until suddenly one of the prime timelines lighted up that overshadowed all the timelines for a few moments. Then it started to get wrapped in a web of the equation that grew from that timeline and started spreading to all other timelines like how a vine climbs a tree branches.

After some time, all the branches of every timeline were encased by the equations that emerged from that particular timeline.

*** Inside the TVA, Loki P.O.V.

'I couldn't believe that I put my trust in her, she might be built differently but at the end of the day, she was a Loki too. A Loki believing in another Loki because he started to love her, huh what a joke!!' I thought as I looked at myself.

I took a deep breath to focus on the reality before turning to walk the opposite side. I ended up where it all started- TVA.

I passed by some soldiers quickly before ending up in the library.

" what does he wants us to do? let 64 branches of the timeline remain as it is?" I heard Morbius's voice which I followed to get to the source.

I found him talking to the chief officer that first put handcuffs on me. I quickly walk toward them to tell them about the mastermind behind all of this.

" We can't," I said.

"what did you say?" he asked as he turned toward me.

" We freed the timeline," I remarked before taking a deep breath and continuing," We found him behind the storm. A citadel at the end of Time. "

"wait what?" both the officer and Morbius looked confused.

" He knows everything, he controls everything. I know that it's confusing but it's true. And now many dangerous variants of that person will appear." I told them in the breath.

Morbius tried to calm me down by slowly patting me on the shoulders as he spoke," it's okay, alright. calm down. you are an analyst, right?"

"What?" I asked weirded out.

" Which department are you from?" he continued while the officer on the back used her communicator to call for help but my focus was completely stolen by the statue of he who remains in front of me where the timekeeper's statue should exist.

" I think he got affected by extreme knowledge that equation contained. I told them that studying the projection of the source on the timelines could prove as much as dangerous as facing the source itself but no one listens to me. " Morbius remarked in the background as he turned to the officer while signaling toward me.

****Earth outer atmosphere, 2 days and 6 hours before kar-el realized that he ended up on MCU.

An object streaked through the atmosphere at high speed unaffected by the atmospheric pressure and the heat produced by it toward Africa. In a few seconds, it already appeared above a beautiful forest valley and crashed into one of the peaks of the mountain surrounding the valley.

What was interesting was that there should have been a collision during the crash but the object just sliced the whole peak as a hot knife does to butter before finally stopping after the momentum behind it got depleted.

After the dust settled, what came into view was a big scythe with a highly curved blade that was embedded into what remained of the peak. It had an artistic beauty to it even though it looked like it could slice the reality itself if wielded by capable hands. The pole part of the scythe had tiny - tiny mathematical symbols imprinted on it, Some of the symbols were already discovered while others appeared to be still undiscovered and seem to tell the truth about the truth behind the mechanism of the world.

While the valley appeared to be simple and natural but it was not. It was land under the control of a nation that most know as a small third world country but very few know of the real might that was contained inside it.

The Valley is part of the territory of Wakanda and the peak that the scythe just sliced like nothing was made up of raw Vibranium.

*** 2 days and 6 hours later, kar-el P.O.V.

I put the newspaper in the nearby dustbin as it doesn't appear to be today's newspaper before moving. Being of 16 years old for the third time was not a good thing, especially when I didn't have a roof to sleep in, basic appliances like a mobile phone.

I'm in a tough situation in a city that I didn't know a thing about except for some general knowledge but It could be a lot worse if I didn't have social security number and technically I'm not completely broke. I still had $69.69 in my wallet.

I could survive for more than a week with this money if I only use it for food. As a Kryptonian under the rays of a yellow star, I don't need many resources to survive as most of the energy could be obtained from the sun.

I had to find a way to obtain a bank account during this timeframe somehow so I could get a job. I didn't want to be at the bottom of ladder of the society until I awakened my full powers.

I stopped before a street vendor that was selling sandwiches and asked for a packet for myself, it cost me 5$ but It would be my whole day's food so I couldn't complain.

" Sir, could you please point me to the nearest public library?" I asked the gentleman as he gave me my sandwiches to which he told me the route. Thankfully, it was not far from here. I thanked him before moving toward the library.

After 5 minutes, I reached the library and entered inside it. I was pretty sure that I'm in the early 2000s because of the technology I observed during my walk toward the library but I didn't know the exact time which was why I choose to come to the library first.

The library must have today's newspaper inside it which would save me the hassle of asking someone about the current year. It would also help me confirm which marvel universe I was in currently if I read history books of the past century.

I walked toward the newspaper stand and picked a newspaper to confirm what time I was currently in. today was 3rd March of the year 2000 according to the newspaper which answered one of my questions. I put it down to where it belonged before moving toward the history section of the library.

Here is the chapter as I promised yesterday,

first of all, thank you for the response that you showed yesterday on my request, It made my day.

Have some respect for this mob, you sadist system!! had entered in the top 5 as of now in the contest thanks to you. I have pretty much recovered from the lag that I had to face because of late entering and it was only possible because of you all.

From now on, Only and only vote for "Have some respect for this mob, you sadist system!!" if you read that fiction and wants to see more of it, now that I'm on equal grounds with other authors participating in the contest, I want to win only because my fiction was worthy for the prize.

You don't have to worry about the reward that I promised you all if I win the contest. I will be doing daily updates from today onwards for at least a week and if I had to skip a day because of some reason, I will upload 2 chapters the next day.

Moving on, I decided to do an experiment to increase the reader-writer interaction between us.

As you know that I will be needing names for my characters in both of my books from now on, I have decided to choose names that you recommend to me through paragraph comments on this paragraph. Every reader is allowed to give 2 names, one being male while another female. I will pick random names from those names to use for my original characters in both books ( I hate maths but I respect it and have some respect for this mob, you sadist system!!).

[Beware that the name you recommend could be used for the villain characters too.]
