Carp Blowing Bubbles
would say I like this book so far, I am almost cought up to daily updates and the book gets better for sure, tho translation is very poor in some areas, as when you have a rare troop evolve into a rare troop and stays that way, so its confusing when reading, its a problem, also author tends to forget what character has gotten he has gotten a floating island with unlimited water and just hasent used it yet, IN THE DESERT, almost like author forgot character had it, or dosent want to acknowledge he has it. its also rough when pronouns are just switched every sentence, from he to she, makes the reading very inconsistent. but other than some continuity errors and bad translation/grammer, its an awesome story so far. so if you can get over those 2 things I would definitely pick it up
This has potential to be one of the better ones within the genre but two things hold it back. 1. The skill thing he gets to be the mc is great in the beginning but seems to be forgotten more and more as the story goes on. 2. And this is the big one, the translation is going from okay, to bad, to really bad. Things like rare upgrading to rare...you read that right. So when he talks about his two groups of rares that are somehow different, it all gets confusing. BUT THEN, the random words that are being dropped in the middle of a sentence. AND EVEN AFTER THAT... The sentence structures just start getting lazier and more MTL. It is just getting worse and worse quality as time drags on, which is shame since this could have been a great one
Okay I previously praised this novel but after reading more chapter after chapter 40, the translation quality keeps getting worse. I wouldn't have a problem if the translation was just grammer/ punctuation but it actually affects the understanding of the story and makes everything more confusing. This is actually not a bad story if the translation is on par. Please translator, at least change the elite to advanced where it is supposed to be.
Well, it is a rather good story, at least I think of it as interesting. It has some flaws here and there, but it could still be an enjoyable reading experience... only if the translation would not s**k so much! For gods sake, it is clear, that a machine was used for morst of the translation, fine. Ther eis worse than doing it like that... But at least go over the translation and try to fix obvious mistakes like gender-swapping or changing translations for the same thing (at least I only noticed two instances, where names were switched out from a desribing name to a chinese romantication of it). Over all the translating becomes more and more sloppy with the later chapters and mistakes are continously draged on (nearly a running-gag is, that two ranks of troop-levels are translated the same...) And yes, one can read the english in a fluent way - the sentencens are legal and rightfull english (most of the time) - that is a given, but come on! We are PAYING for these chapters and even then there are Chapters that are doubled or right out missing? Not to mention some ideoms I can not get about "bull nose"s.... It would also not hurt, if the translator would be interested enough to read the story he/she/it translates, so that very heavy mistakes like the translation of the ranks would be noticed and can be corrected - EVEN IF the original did make a mistake there, it could be corrected, as long as it does not change the setting or consequent story. I mean even the readers are continously marking these mistkaes, but nobody corrects them... that is sad for a paid work, but not unusal on webnovel... However, in a novel revolving around romance, and interaction between characters as the main point, I can tollerate it more to be a bit sloppy... Who cares in an action-game if there are a few mistakes in the backround info about the troops or the ressources? They do not matter. In a strategie-game however - and this novel is a strategie-game becoming a novel - that is a no go! It ruins immersion and you stop caring about these infos, even though they apear quite frequently... Not to mention, that because of missing chapters we are missing some character-sheets and skill-descriptions - or at least I assume that, since they are not here at least. If they are already missing in the original_ BAD author, be ashamed and sit in the corner!
This is among the best novel I read in the corresponding genre. This story is better than the sss tier extraction type stories out there, or other similar ones. The thing which makes this story great is - although mc has a very good cheat, still he needs lots of resources to use his cheat to level up his forces, and he can only level up few items, unlike the sss tier extraction stories where anything can be levelled up, that too for free, so mc grows very quickly there without any investment. But here mc needs to collect lots of resources first, then only he can level up his troops. Furthermore, his spawn point is desert, which is devoid of resources, and that keeps the story interesting.
story is decent, I like how easy it is to follow but at the same time there is su easy fixes. The TL likes to frustrate audiences by saying rare troops all the time even when the lord is upgrading troops. Also never showed us what Alves stats were so that frustrated readers. overall good story needs a new TL or a proofreader
200ish chapter Great universe and lazy writing. There are lots of good material to enrich the universe's background but like i said author is extremely lazy to use them. At least for now but I dont expect he will add anything more to that Translation quality is a mtl +1 Armies and kingdom building things are not satisfying. Overall it is a binge read material
I have to say this one of the best books I've read so far and it just keeps getting better with every chapter that gets released I cannot wait until I can read more and see how it all pans out it just keeps getting better and better😁😁😁😁 Oh and I really hope the writer makes a comic out of this so I may see how the characters look and how everything just develops from it I mean using my imagination is fun but still seeing it in a comic form would be excellent too great greybook though
