CHAPTER 15: SOME DOUBTS

As the lecture ended, Amna felt grateful to Shahmeer . She wanted to show her appreciation for his help, but she wasn't sure what to get him. So, she turned to her friend Zara for advice.

"Zara, I want to thank Shahmeer for his help. What can I get him?" Amna asked, thinking out loud.

Zara thought for a moment before responding, "Why don't you buy him lunch from the cafeteria? It's a small gesture, but it's a thoughtful way to say thanks!"

Amna's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea, Zara! I'll go get him a sandwich or something."

She headed to the cafeteria, thinking about what Shahmeer might like. After purchasing a sandwich and a drink, she made her way to where Shahmeer was sitting.

Chapter 6: A Startling Revelation

Amna approached Shahmeer, who was sitting on the windowsill, lost in thought. As she drew closer, she was struck by the intensity of his beautiful blue eyes and jet-black hair. But it was what she saw next that made her heart race.

Shahmeer's shoes caught her attention, and she felt a jolt of surprise. They were the same shoes worn by the mysterious boy who had saved her from the accident that day!

Amna's mind raced with questions. Was it just a coincidence? Or was Shahmeer the same boy who had rescued her? She couldn't help but stare at him.Shahmeer noticed Amna's continued gaze and said, "Hey, what's your problem, idiot? Why are you staring at me like that?" His tone was slightly aggressive, but Amna could see a hint of defensiveness behind his words.

Amna took a deep breath and asked, "Shahmeer, are you the boy who saved me in the basement? The one who took me home that day?"

Shahmeer's expression changed, and he looked at her with a mixture of surprise and caution. He seemed to be considering his response carefully before speaking. "What are you talking about" he said finally, his voice low and guarded.

Amna's heart raced with anticipation. She could feel that she was getting close to uncovering a secret, and she was determined to get to the truth. "Don't lie to me, Shahmeer," she said firmly. "I remember the shoes, the same shoes you're wearing now. And your eyes... I remember your eyes. You're the one who saved me, aren't you?"
