It is fortunate that he has already come to an agreement with her. She fears for the day someone like this should turn against humanity. And also the moment, she does not have the luxury to think about stuff like this at least. She had realized.

Tobi had dealt with the superpowered twins. It was time that she dealt with any of the misgivings both of them may have. So she had requested to speak to them. They all had been deceived and it is time that they all learn the truth.

She had seen how the girl was bound and the boy could not move.

"Why can't things ever be easy." She muttered to herself.

So she had alternatively looked them both in the eyes. "You know that the entire invasion of Sokovia was caused by the organization that recruited you, right."

Both of their eyes widened. Well now she had their full attention.

"Destabilizing Sokovia allowed them to put many of their own people in power both in Sokovia and the US." She had begun to explain.

Looking them in the eyes, " You may be wondering. Why Sokovia. An insignificant country in the middle of nowhere."

She paused at that fact. Leaving them both points to ponder. Seeing the lack of understanding on their faces. She began to speak. "Because the citizens of Sokovia were discovered to have the capability of awakening enhanced abilities."

Their eyes had widened in horror. "Tell me how many people died before you both got your powers."

"Fifty". Wanda had answered. Her eyes widened looked as if they were in a trance.

Amanda thought to herself. 'Still got it.' She was an expert in manipulating people afterall. But still she did not hide any details. She had just revealed the truth as she knew to them while putting herself in an advantageous position.

"Well, let's get you out of those bindings." Amanda had taken out a knife from the suit and had proceeded to free Wanda.

She looked at Quicksilver and she had no idea on how to free him. She then turned to Wanda.

"Can you carry him. I need to show you something." Turning around, she had proceeded to walk towards the first room. "And understand that if you try to manipulate me. You will be a head shorter." Her voice was laced with killing intent as she was leaving.

Loki had used the Kamui to make himself intangible and stepped through the door.

He found a girl on her bed. Her head buried in her arms. Lying down on a small bed on the side of the white sterilized room. Looking around he saw nothing that would indicated any kind of care for the child. No extra clothes, no toys nothing. This room looked as bland as can be.

So Loki took a few steps forward towards the girl. His sharingan having evolved into the mangekyou sharingan to deal with any type of mental illusion. His footsteps echoed out into the room.

Loki paused when he heard a small voice. "Please don't come near me."

He stopped and asked "Why".

"Anyone who comes near and stare at me are not themselves anymore." She had still kept her head down within her arms.

Loki's heart started to hurt. It felt as if there was some pain that would swallow him alive if he did not act now. So Loki acted. He sat down on the bed by her side. And placed a hand on her shoulder. Bringing her close to his body in the form of a quasi-hug.

The girl who could not be older then eight trembled for a moment but feeling the comforting warmth of Loki's body. She leaned into him and stopped trembling.

"So, how did you awaken your powers." Loki asked in a comforting and soft tone.

"Daddy and mommy were fighting so I got angry. Then they stopped fighting". The girl replied.

Loki hardened his heart. He wanted to help this girl so he had activated his eternal mangekyou sharingan. Maybe, he could fill the empty void in his own heart in this way. Maybe, he could have some family.

Before he proceeded. He first asked her a question. His heart beating fast. He really did hope for a yes.

"Would you like a home with me, be normal. Enjoy yourself."

Please say yes. Loki hoped to himself.

Loki had felt her tremble. "Can I really be normal."

"Well no, you would still be my daughter. So you would be far from normal." Loki said while scratching his cheeks, his finger passing through the mask. The last part of the sentence was accompanied with a small awkward laugh.

"But if I look at you, you will go insane. Can you still take me. Can I still be normal." She had replied. Her voice a little hopeful.

"Oh please, you will not be able to drive me insane. To be honest, I may already be a little insane and normal is pretty over-rated." Loki said while softly stroking her back.

"Promise." The little girl asked.

"Pinky promise." Loki replied.

So the girl had taken her head out of her arms and had looked at Loki.

As she had started into his eyes. Loki had felt a sudden mental strike against him. He recognized what had happened. This girl had an access of metal energy. It lashes out at anyone who tries to stares into her eyes. An excess of mental energy that would eventually harm her as her body is completely out of balance.

Loki had snapped himself out of his thoughts as he saw that the girl was starting to become worried.

Loki had decided to take off his mask. And so he smiled at her as he said. "My name is Loki, What's yours?"

While Loki knew what her name was. He wanted to hear it from her own mouth.

"Ace, they call me Ace."

"Well, from now on. You will be known as Ace Lokisdottir." Loki had said while he had placed a hand on her head .

"Now, lets seal it up shall we." He said as he had placed a four symbol seal on her head. This would limit the amount of mental energy she could project until he could make a more customizable seal.

Loki had worn his mask once more. He turned to her and said. "Listen, You can't tell anyone about my identity. Alright. Daddy's keeping it a secret."

She had turned her face downwards and not replied to him. This was the first time she could talk to someone face to face like this. Her face had burned red and she had hidden her face against Loki's side.

Loki had gently taken her hand and had begun to lead her outside.

Soon, he had reached the main room where all the monitoring equipment were. He came to the scene of Amanda speaking to the twins.

"Look over here." She had pointed at the different call logs where Daniel Whitehall was talking about the fact how they had caused the crisis in Sokovia in the first place. Wanda was looking sheepishly down. Her eyes tearing up at the fact that their family was ruined. All because someone had found out that their was a large number of people with meta potential in their nation.

Loki had walked in and seen the scene. He remembered how he himself had been blinded by rage for most of his life as both Jin Sakai and Obito. The amount of atrocities that he had committed were numerous.

Loki realized that he had to interfere otherwise, this would not end forever.

"Amanda, that's enough. Their hatred blinded them to reality." Loki had come forward and explained to her. "So, what's the plan boss lady."

Amanda sighed and replied. "Hide them, I will be under a microscope soon. If they are seen anywhere within my vicinity. It would spell disaster for everyone involved." Amanda had rubbed her forehead and replied to him.

Loki had stepped towards them. "Well, lets go to moi house. You will like it, it is a tropical retreat. A paradise as far as I am concerned." A black hole opened up from Loki's eyes which swallowed them all up.

Amanda had watched the scene with a critical eye.

She had seen his fight and had begun to catalogue every power that he had displayed in his fight. If there was not the threat of Hydra, she would have probably worked harder to tie him with her.

Looking at the matter of Hydra. She now atleast had a few names. There was a Baron Struker and someone called the winter soldier. She would need to work on those leads discreetly. She began to wonder if she can even trust fury anymore. What if he is compromised.

She had then decided to work to weaken shield any way she can. Anyway she can create something that could oppose or weaken shield, she would do. First, she needs to go after project insight. Some way to slow down its pace. Oh god, she would need to support the Overwatch Initiative. She had been opposing it from its inception. This would prove to be a torturous endeavor. She did not believe in giving this much power to act to any group not affiliated to the government. Now, she may not even have a choice.
