The travel and the parasite

After finalizing the plan and preparing their things. They made their way to the school bus. Nozomu is in the very front of the group. Saeko and Takashi are in front but not as far as Nozumo. Takuzo and Morita at either side then Khota at the back. While the girls are at the center, are still ready to kill anything that gets past the guys.

They made it to the bus easier than the original because Nozomu took more of them by himself that lessen the burden. Most of them know that he can handle them but is surrounded a few times and defeating them. That really takes the cakes.

Takashi: "Whoa, I always knew that Nozomu-sempai is strong but not that strong."

Saeko just agreed but still waiting for the explanation of her husband.

When they came to the bus, the others got in first. Nozomu, Saeko, and Takashi take out the undead near it while Khota is inside the bus and opens a window so that he can take down any incoming zombies. Miss Shizuka was almost done familiarizing herself with the controls then tell them they can go. Takashi told the others but Saeko tell him to go first then her last would be Nozomu.

??: "WAIT..."

They heard a shout that drew more of the undead nearby. It was the group of Shido.

Nozomu was really tempted to kill him now but for the sake of not ending humanity faster, he will just wait for the chance later. Besides, the students that were following him didn't really do anything bad to him.

Saeko: "It's Shido."

She said it with a scowl because of the things he did to Nozomu. If it was her decision then she would just leave him here to die. While thinking that, Nozomu made his decision.

N: "I'm saving them."

Rei: "What! No... After all, he has done to you..."

N: "I know... More than anyone... Saeko, Takashi... Protect the bus..."

They nodded but Saeko can tell that Nozomu is hiding his rage. After that, he sprinted towards the coming group while making a path for them. The guy with glasses still tripped and ask for help from Shido. Before he tried to kick the guy, Nozomu was already on them and help him by carrying him like a wounded soldier. He glares at Shido for what he was about to do. Shido just brush it off and continue going to the bus.

Closing the door and putting the guy in one of the seats. Nozomu tells miss Shizuka to go, ramming the undead in front, and finally leaving the school.

Driving for half an hour, one guy with blonde colored hair starts complaining about the others going back to the city and the weak-looking guy supports the idea and suggested barricading themselves in someplace safe.

Miss Shizuka stops the bus because she can't concentrate driving with all the complaining. Saeko asks the guy what he really complaining about. Then he said he hate Takashi and Nozomu. Takashi asks him why he hates him but the guy tried to punch him.

Instead of Rei defending Takashi, Nozomu got up and block the coming punch. The guy tried to break free from the grip but he can't. The Nozomu moves his hand to a position replicating the one-inch punch of Bruce Lee. Nozomu struck the guy which made him float a few inches from the floor of the bus and come down unconscious.

Similar to the original, Shido step up not minding the guy on the floor and start talking about being a leader. But Nozomu stops him before he continues.

N: "Do you plan on being the leader?"

Shido: "Why yes, seeing that I was a teacher and you guys were just students. I am more than have the required qualification for the job. Why moment earlier, I have saved the lives of these brave students. I would not condemn you and miss Busujima on why you had weapons in the school ground earlier. What do you say, guys?

Nozomu just close his eyes and try to breathe properly. He's really trying to hold himself back by slicing the throat of Shido. But Rei has had enough of the bulls** of Shido and tried to go out but was stopped by Nozomu.

N: "Rei stop!"

Rei: "BUT ONII-CHAN!" *she said it loud enough only for their group to hear*

N: "I know what you are about to say and I agree."

Rei: "If you do, why stop me?" *trying to hold her tears and everybody in their group tries to listen with the applause from Shido's group and his gloating BS*

N: "Because if you go, then Takashi would follow you then Morita will follow Takashi. Next, I would follow after the three of you. I know that Saeko, Khota, and the others can protect themselves but Saeko would just follow me then everybody else will follow.

*while looking Rei straight in the eye* "I can probably go on for another day('month') without sleep and protect you guys at the same time. But we are all stressed from what has happened. I and Saeko don't want to fight in the night('i can see clearly in the dark') if we can help it. I will use 'guilt trip' if you still continue with your actions. I know you don't like him but you marching out is not the solution.

Rei and the others thought about what he said and they would really do it if she continues. After some thought, she asked if she could sit with him. Nozomu looks at Saeko for confirmation then she nods for approval. In normal situations, only 2 people can occupy the passenger seat but 3 people can also use it if necessary.

Shido: "So, do guys also agree with me being your leader?"

After he said that, he felt the most ominous thing he could possibly feel. It made him stumble down on the bus floor and sweat a lot. That is when our mc release his bloodlust and with the help of the energy in his body, even though he's not yet at the Xiantian realm of cultivation where you can use your energy outside the body, he was able to direct it all to Shido.

N: "We are tired and I'm not going to argue with you but know this. *stares at Shido menacingly* My group does not recognize your leadership and two, when we are relatively safe, we will go our separate ways." *then he stares at Shido's group that made them flinch on their seat.

After everything was settled, Nozomu ask Shizuka if she could continue with their journey. She said yes and start the bus to go forward. A few moments later, a bus full of zombies comes speeding up but bumps into a parked car that made it flip in the air, skids on the ground before it stops, and starts burning. They saw it happen right after the intersection that they just passed a moment ago. If they stayed there just a few more seconds then might die from the bus crashing into them or worst. Not minding what happened, Nozomu tells miss Shizuka that they will switch later so that she can rest. Miss Shizuka didn't argue and accept his offer but for now, she would drive to let him rest first. Nozomu just nods and gets back to his seat with Saeko with the additional of Rei in the middle.

By the start of the night, the bus made it to the place where other people were trying to evacuate in another area. Nozomu is the one who is already driving the bus in the traffic and misses Shizuka has fallen asleep due to tiredness. The rest is similar to the original like when Shido gave comfort to the two girls in his from his group because of the gunshots they heard from afar.

The next day afternoon, the bus was still in traffic with the other cars that is going to the other city. Saya suggested ditching the bus and trying going through another route to get to her house because they would just be stuck in traffic and she is getting irritated from the preaching. Shido notices them talking to each other then Saya points out him and said the same thing she told her in the original.

Shido: "This is a free country and I have no obligation to stop you, but you would need to stay miss Marikawa."

This didn't sit well for the rest of the group. Khota made the first move similar to the anime.

Now the group of Nozomu is trying to find a way to cross the river but they only see blocked bridges and a lot of zombies. Other than the mc, the others were tired from searching and fighting so miss Shizuka suggested to go the apartment of her friend.

They made their way to the apartment. Nozomu knows that there is one storage house near the apartment with some weapons and armors. So after they settled in, he made an excuse that one of his "friends" was near the vicinity and he should go there to help. The others want to follow him but he said that a big group will be very attractive to the living and the dead. He also said that it might take an hour at most if his "friend" wants to help other people in the neighborhood and they should rest because it is already seen in the way they breathe that they are already tired. Saeko is not excluded from the people that need to rest even if she looks like she could run a few more kilometers.

Miss Shizuka gave her phone that she used to call the emergency phone in the apartment so if something unexpected came up he have a way to contact them.

This gives a little relief to the others.

He then said to keep watch of the street and don't open the lights of the rooms near the street or some unsavory people might become curious.

He made it to the storage house while killing the undead a few moments later which looks like an ordinary house but it has a secret.

There are a few floors below that have much different military equipment and ammunition stored. This is one of the many storage places with guns, armors, and a lot of bullets. Other storage houses have foods processed from his time chamber because those can last for a couple of years. He estimated that the food can last up to 15 years with the help of the remaining energy on the food. These storage houses will be critical when his people try to take back their country from the undead, they will have an easier time doing it. Just one of these stores can arm a battalion and feed a hundred. These would be similar to the game with checkpoints.

Done checking the storage rooms, Nozomu put in a bag compound bow and crossbow. They are both lightweight enough that these will not hinder their travel and the arrows have strong steel that can penetrate the skull of the undead.

N: "The bow is for Naomi because she told them that she was in the archery club and the crossbow is extra if I or someone wants to use it."

But suddenly he hears something from the outside a scream of a girl and a barking of a dog. He looked and saw Alice and Zeke that were going to become dinner for the undead. He jumps over the balcony and landed beside Alice and Zeke. Then he grabs them both and jumps back to the storage house. The wall that surrounds the house is only thick enough to not become different from the other houses when the place was being constructed. If more came crushing at the wall like in the original, just the third of that will be enough to break the wall down and the was built on top of the storage house to blend in with the surrounding. The only use of the house is for conducting meetings so it would not last long in the onslaught.

Nozomu quickly guide Alice inside the house while Zeke followed after.

N: "Stay here, I will just clean up some dirt outside."

Alice: "NO! DON'T GO!.."

Zeke barks at me bit the right leg of my pants trying to stop me from moving. I pat the head of Zeke while using a thin layer of aura to calm him down which is effective and he lets go of my pants. I used my other hand and did the same with Alice.

N: "It is going to be alright."

He grabs his tungsten sword and dashed then leap over the walls and landed between the group of the undead. Not even a minute after he was already inside the house with Alice and Zeke.

N:*drop in one knee to try to have the same eye level as Alice but he is still taller*

"My name is Museigen Nozomu but my friends call me Nozomu. Can you tell me your name, little girl?" *while smiling while having some blood in his face*

Alice: "I am Maresato Alice. You can just call me Alice, onii-chan.

N: "Why are you alone in the streets when it is dark outside? Where are your parents?"

Alice started crying but only enough so that she can still tell her story. When this all started, they were still safe in their house but when the second day came. Screams can be heard in their streets so her father decided that they should move to a safer place. Alice asks if they will meet with her other mother. Her father only said that they will meet her later. She said they have been running for hours and dodging streets that have them but we came across a large group. Her father chooses a path that has less of them. He tried to fight them off but one was able to bite him. Her father told her to run but she didn't listen at first but when she saw him crying and begging her to go, she understand that she would need to leave her father my he was delaying their advances. She ran while crying which attracts the zombies in the neighborhood and Zeke that when he save them both.

When her story ended, he told her that he was sorry for what had happened and be the one to protect her in the place of her father. Alice already knew at that time that her father wants her to live and move on so she accepts the offer of her new onii-chan.

After that, Nozomu told her that she needs to bathe and wash off the blood in her body. When Alice is in the bath, he finished preparing the items that he will bring. He even take out some plants, vegetables, and meat from his chamber and put them in containers for easier transport. When Alice was done, he went next to the bathroom. He really did not need the bath because when someone is at the late stage of the Houtian realm then he can use the energy to clean himself by evaporating the liquids and making a smooth thin layer of aura around his body so the dirt can fall off of him.

He changed into a new suit, which he made in his free time, that is an exact replica used by one of his favorite characters. Alice said that he looked cool and Zeke also approves so he is keeping the suit on.

After they are done, he told Alice that they were going to where his friends are because that place was safer than this one. Alice just agrees. The items that he will bring are on his back. Then he will be carrying Zeke and Alice in his front. He told Alice to close his eye because they might come across more zombies in the streets and he will be fighting a lot of them. Alice just does what her onii-chan said.

After a couple of seconds, he told her to open her eyes. She can't believe that they are already here. She ask her onii-chan but he just told her "it is a secret" while smiling. Then they walk through the front gate where Khota suddenly notice and wave at them while smiling.
