Rest and truth

Looking at the 4th floor with the satellite dish, Nozomu could see Khota waiving while telling Takashi to tell the others that he made it back.

After putting the things that I was carrying, I guided Alice-chan to where the others are. We only found the guys inspecting the weapons that they have found. They were surprised first by what I'm wearing and I told them that I got it from my "friend's house" then I introduce Alice to them.

They asked what had happened but I told them I would explain when the whole group is together. They told me that after he left that there were some zombies still in the apartment, probably those that got in or other tenants. Saya told the boys to be the ones to clean first because they might drink the water that the girls used. Naomi tried to defend the guys but got convinced by Rei and Niki.

When it was the girl's turn to take a bath. Khota suggested listening to the girl's talks but he got shot down by Morita when he said that Saeko brought the katana that she always used into the bathroom.

I don't whether to laugh or be angry so I just told them that I got weapons and armor from the friend's house and told Khota there were no guns because the house only have bows and arrows which made him a little sad. But got happy again when I said "I got some meat and vegetables to cook" because he knows how the food I cooked tasted and even Takashi drooled a little which made the other two curious.

I left Alice and Zeke with them to prepare the food to be cooked. While I was waiting for the meat to be tender and cutting some vegetables. Saeko: "Now you are here I won't. Besides, you are a better cooked than me and that is the thing that I will not challenge you. You are the husband so you should cook for your wife."

Nozomu: "WHOA...*gesturing a stop sign, looked at Niki then back to Saeko* I thought you would tell the group that we were married after we settled at Saya's?"

Saeko: "Well when girls talk, some things are bound to slip up." *smiling*

N: "....How much did you say."

Saeko: *wraps her hands around his neck the whispered to his ear in a seductive voice* "Specifics"

Nozomu looks at her in disbelief but then looks at Niki but she turns her head to the side and walks away from them, not wanting to meet his eye. He just said to her that he didn't have any problem with them knowing now or later because he only thinks about her decision for that matter. After that, he told her to change her outfit. (she still were the same as the original)

Saeko: *already knows what he is thinking but still wants to tease* "What's wrong with the dress. Everyone knows that they need to wear an apron when cooking." *spins while pushing upfront the apron in the chest area*

N: *getting a peek of the peaks* "Yes I know, currently also wearing one. But the apron was supposed to protect the CLOTHES and the body."

Saeko: "You don't like it?" *pouting*

N:*knows what she was doing and massaging his bridge nose to not have a nose bleed* "I like it very very much. *just like Thanos* But as much I want to see you in that. I would not let the others get a chance. We vowed that you are mine and I am yours. So all of that *making the bottle figure in the air* is for my private viewing pleasure."

He then hug Saeko using one hand and kissed her. More than a minute later, he could see Saeko trying to catch her breath after their passionate kiss. She then walks away to go to miss Shizuka's friend's other room and look for a less revealing than usual outfit. She found a slightly fitting white t-shirt and longer shorts then she walks back to him and shows the new outfit.

N: "Better... Sorry that I'm selfish but I just want to keep your all to myself."

Saeko: "Don't be *putting her hand on his cheek* I know... Well, let me help you with the cooking."

N: "You know... If we're alone, I wouldn't mind making you my dessert.

Saeko: *blushing* "we will see...

Seeing this, Nozomu hatches a plan to get some alone time with Saeko. *smiling mischievously* The other people in the apartment shiver at the same time. Not even Zeke was excluded.

A few more minutes later, Nozomu told everyone that the food was ready. By this time, Alice was already acquainted with every one of the group, Zeke included and given a name by Khota. She already has told her story and the group was sad about what happened and will help her to find her mother. She only said that her mother was at work when this all started. There is a long silence then Saya told her that they are her family now and that will protect her. She just cried in the embrace of Saya.

After dinner, they ask Nozomu what his side of his story was when he left and look for his "friend". He told them that he wasn't able to meet his "friend", why he was in new clothing which was noticed by Khota being the same outfit as one character in an anime, getting the hunting bows and arrows and some protective gears, stock some foods, saving Alice and Zeke and then coming back to the apartment while killing zombies along the way.

Right after that, Takashi told the group of what the current situation outside. Most of the undead's attention is focused on the nearby bridge. They turn on the tv and saw policemen blocking the bridge while some protesters were making noise that lead to one protester being shot. Nozomu, as bad as it sounds, suggested using this time of distraction to rest properly. He volunteered to be the first watch so that everybody can sleep. He will just sleep when they started traveling again with the help of the RV. He will even help them to fall asleep faster by massaging them because he is also a certified masseur. The other four people in the group except Alice did not question the decision because if it helps them sleep better then they will just accept.

There are two bedrooms in the apartment and the girls will while the guys will stay in the living room. He started with the room where miss Shizuka was in because she will be the one driving first.

Saeko: "Why here?" *even though she knows*

N: "Dessert"

He continued with how he can travel and limitations like the world being random and that he needs to complete certain tasks to go to the next.

Saeko: "So if you need to complete some task before going to the next world. What do you need to fulfill here?"

N: "Well before that. You read stories, right? Fiction, non-fiction? *Saeko nods* You also watched movies and tv shows?"

Saeko: "Sometimes" *getting an idea*

N: "I even introduced to you manga and anime. *Saeko just looks at him* You see, from my last world, there is this manga and anime about a certain group of students and other people that escape their school."

Saeko: "So it was us and Shido's group."

N: "Yes, but there is some difference." *Saeko just wait for him to continue*

N: "Ok... I'll start with you. In both the manga and anime, you were using a wooden sword to fight the undead until you get a katana in Takagi Manor given to you by Saya's father while in the anime you and Takashi found one in some temple before going to the manor. ...."

Saeko: "I could tell that it is not the only one of the differences."

N: "Well in those two, you have feelings for Takashi and probably had sex in the temple because you are much closer to him which you made clear to Saya that also have some feelings for the guy because they were childhood friends."

Saeko: *clearly shock but urges him to continue* "Continue"

N: "Ok... I will focus on the manga and just give the rundown. Niki and Morita did not make it. You save Takuzo and Naomi but they still died before they made it on the bus. Shido kicks the guy who tripped to be the bait for the undead. Rei and Takashi got separated from the group because she walked out of the bus and Takeshi followed her then the bus came.

You, Saya, Khota and miss Shizuka separated from the group of Shido then you reunite with Rei and Takashi on some bridge. Miss Shizuka, suggested resting on the apartment. Before dawn, you guys save Alice after her father died and continue your journey. In the afternoon you made it near the Takagi's place but got blocked by the undead. You guys almost die but got saved by the mother of Saya at the last minute. You rest at the manor. Shido came with his cult but they were exiled by Saya's father.

Then the EMP blast came from a detonated nuclear missile in the atmosphere which destroyed a lot of electrical machines including the bus of Shido that ram to the barrier that they suppose to go through. Even the forklift was unable to move because of the emp. Then zombies came through and a lot of them. The gate was mechanical so that's dead too but there are too many of them so no point. The manor got overwhelmed.

You guys escaped but left Saya's parents behind. Then you when to the mall to get some supplies. Met some survivors. Gain additional companions but they still died. Khota broke down because of lost love but miss Shizuka gave him another purpose.

You met Rei's mother on the way after going to the police station and knowing that there is an evacuation operation in Shintoko Third Elementary School where Takashi's mother is a teacher. That's most of the important parts because the author couldn't finish the story.

The anime only tells only up to when you are almost at the mall. Also, in the anime, there is a lot of panty shots and boob physics from you girls. Almost every episode each of you has more than 5 shorts taken. They called it "Fan Services" in the industry."

Saeko: *after digesting the info dump* "Sigh... Is that why you were overprotective of how I look? *Nozomu nods* How can these authors tell our situation here?"

Basically, there are versions of this story out there because of the multiverse theory where for example, you guys all died in school or only one of you manage to get out. There might be a version of you being in a relationship with another reincarnated person and that some version of you is currently following those reincarnated people."

Saeko: *taking time again* "So which version was this world and the connection to your task?"

N: "This world version of zombies is slightly faster and stronger. Only two girls other than Shido manage to escape. You guys got to the apartment faster and left earlier so Alice was not saved. The emp blast happened much earlier and the bus ram at a faster speed which destroyed the barrier and let the zombies in which quickly overtook the manor and all of you died. My mission is to help the 8 of you survive and get you to the evacuation location before the zombies kill you."

Saeko: "8?"

N: "Yeah. You, miss Shizuka, Rei, Saya, Alice, Khota, Takashi, and Zeke."

Saeko: "So that was all the plans for?"

N: "Yes and to lessen some burdens while trying to save some people as much as possible. I manage to put the timetable close to the original because it has less difficulty than this old timeline. But all of it is only possible because I was given time to prepare. If I was thrown here a day or to a year interval then I would have just focused on you guys. I was planning to just be the one saving you guys in the shadow."

Saeko: *understanding the situation except for some* "Ok, I understand most of it but.... what made you change your mind and directly work with us and you said about the difficulty?"

N: "Well, I have fallen for you!" *looking directly at Saeko's eyes*

Saeko: "W-what? Really?" *blushing*

N: "Yes, even after we met for the first, I was still thinking of not directly helping you guys out but as you can remember, one thing lead to another." *smiling at her which made her remember their earlier years together*

Saeko: "So the difficulty?" *clearly changing the topic*

N: "Sigh... it's about Shido, it is clear that whoever god created this version is a chaos god because I can't kill him before he got to Takagi manor or the difficulty will increase from medium to nightmare mode like if I had killed him in the school we'll be all killed there whether by the zombies or the bus exploding with everyone in it. So yeah..."

Saeko got up from her current position then seat beside Nozomu while placing her head on his shoulder.

Saeko: "After you finished your task, would you leave us immediately and go to the next world? Would you leave me alone?"

N: "Of course not. I plan to stay with you even when you grow all up to your last day."

Saeko: *smiles at him* "Thank you."

They just continue sitting within each other arms.
