Parts in small things...

Early in August when the team get a visit from Black Canary to teach them combat training even though she had an injure in her hand.

MM: "Are you going to be ok?"

BC: "Don't worry, I've been through worse."

??: "Well that it's not good."

Black Canary was then covered in light for an instant then it disappears completely.

??: "Can't have you teach them while having that injury yourself."

BC: "I would have been fine teaching them, Raizen."

R: "That would have been the case if they did not have training while there is no mission for them to do."

BC: "They have been training? Wait, where are you anyway?"

R: "I'm in the kitchen cooking snacks for them. Megan is still learning to cook and this is a hobby of mine. Anyway, you can see for yourself their progress. Let's start with Wally"

They begin sparring with Black Canary but only Wally and Conner got to spar with her when a mission from Batman came. Unlike the original, Wally lasted for two minutes but still got defeated because Black Canary sometimes spar with Flash who is faster than him. Conner is more in control of his emotions and only uses combat skills but he was defeated in under five minutes. Black Canary has more experience fighting strong opponents.

The mission that the team will do is to guard the parts of Amazo which the league fought for four hours and the reason why Canary has an injury in her arm.

The team was split into two teams to guard the parts of Amazo. In their travel, robot monkeys attack the trucks with the real parts of the android. Only this time they got a message from Riazen to not pursue the monkeys.

Aqualad: "Why not? They are getting away with the parts of Amazo and will rebuild the android."

R: "Relax kid, you have already done your job. Besides, "Qrow" can handle that Amazo easily when needed. Qrow was only in the first settings and you guys were still getting beaten up by him."

Robin: "You did something to the parts of Amazo! But we all look at it when it was being put in a secure box. Does Batman know?"

R: "Of course he did. I talked to him about the android. It's better for the parts to be with someone they know than keeping it somewhere that it might get stolen again."

KF: "If the real parts were with you? What was in the boxes?"

R: "A little present from me."

In a moving train, after Ivo got mad that the boxes were empty. A smoke bomb detonated from the boxes that made him sleepy all of a sudden.

R: "We will not be hearing from him for a few months."

The team just agreed to not question the actions of Raizen anymore because he said before that "if your ally does not know the plan, your enemy will not know the plan". Raizen made a promise to them that whatever he do, it will not harm the team. He told them that promises made by someone like him were serious that if he breaks it, his soul will take damage from it.

Back in their HQ, the team continues doing combat training with Black Canary. Wally suggests that she have a go with "Qrow" to see why they were already capable of lasting in combat.

BC: "Who is Qrow?"

A raven which is perching on the top of the lights, swoop down and transform into a human with a small cape on his back and looks cocky.

Robin: "This is Qrow, he is our combat instructor when we were not on a mission and you are not training us."

BC: "A bird just turns into a human. Where the hell did his weapon come from?!"

KF: "Oh right, Qrow is an android, not human. As for the weapon, Raizen said it was shrunk down whenever he is in his bird form."

Aqualad: "Even now, the process in which the android turns from bird to human figure still eludes us. Not even Atlantean magic can understand it."

KF: "Raizen just said that if we want to be technical with it then it's made of nanobots."

BC: "That advance?"

Megan: "It was his personal work."

BC: *nods* "Before I start fighting Qrow. Robin, what is that glow that covers your body?"

Robin: "I'm sorry but even if I want to tell you, Raizen keeps that from happening. I can only say that it will protect me all the time."

BC: "If that is useful, why do the others don't have it?"

Robin: "Something along the lines of keeping me safe and research. Though I too question his actions, it just has more pros than cons."

BC: "If it's not harmful then good. *walking to the center of the sparring arena* Let me see how this android is helping you in combat."

Two minutes later...

Black Canary passes out from the spar against Qrow and now she is being taken care of by Megan in a room. A few moments later, she regain her consciousness and look at Megan.

BC: "How long?"

Megan: "You lasted only two minutes against Qrow and been out for three minutes."

BC: "Something like that is training your team then I can be sure the next time I'm here to train you guys will be a surprise."

While the two girls were talking, Raizen is now with Conner near the sun talking to him.

Conner: "You want me to limit myself? But why?"

R: "Yes, so that the enemy that made you will not accelerate their plans more than it was supposed to. Though I'm not limiting you entirely. You can still fly at the speed of sound and much stronger than before. The enemy will just think that your Kryptonian DNA is more potent than they thought and will still act according to their plans."

Conner: "You know who is the other donor of my DNA if I'm only part Kryptonian."

R: "I do, but I won't tell you. I want to see his face when he knows that his control over you is already gone."

Conner: "Must be a bastard if you are having that kind of thoughts."

R: "You will know in the future. He won't always let you be. You are his investment. For now, you are only at fifty-five percent Kryptonian and would need a long time to make it to ninety percent to have most of Superman's powers then I will make you immune to kryptonite."

Conner: "But if you do that, will that not make me a threat having immunity to kryptonite?"

R: "That is why you will be forming a contract and swear that were both linked to your soul so that in case you become rogue or mind-controlled, you will lose your powers."

Conner: "I guess that will work. You never told me how powerful you are. Robin said that you can cover the whole world with your ability to make it seems that you are omniscient and know everything."

R: "To be honest, I'm in my weakened state and my power is stabilizing. It might take decades to regain my full power but even so, I can still help the Justice League and your team keep the people safe but I am more focused on preventing unnecessary deaths from happening when the league or others were fighting a villain."

Conner: "So that is why when there is a fight between them, no casualties were recorded that even the police were baffled about."

R: "That is also why I can't come with you guys on missions and if I'm there personally then the fate of your team or the world is at stake. I even made preparations like letting Qrow train you, making Robin unlock his aura, and helping you with your condition. If it comes down to it, I will move personally but I would have left the planet indefinitely right after."

Conner didn't talk anymore and just continue with sunbathing and increasing his Kryptonian cells in his body.

Three days later, the team meets with Artemis after they have fun on the beach. Wally was so excited but he did not make it then a new archer was introduced to them by Batman and Green Arrow which made him pissed off and let it out on the new girl.

Aqualad: "Enough Kid Flash, we have a mission."

KF: "From whom?"

Red Arrow then walks to the team from the zeta tube and debriefs them about the nanobots that can destroy everything on its path. He also mentioned the safety of the scientist, Dr. Serling Roquette, that is being targeted by the League of Shadows.

Red Arrow left when the team accepted the mission.

When the team met with Dr. Roquette, they link up through Megan and Super Boy hand her a bracelet and said that it will protect her from anything.

Megan: "Who gave you that bracelet?"

Sboy: "From Raizen."

Artemis: "Who is Allen?"

Robin: "He is a tech genius that helps the team from time to time."

When the others know that Artemis heard a different name of Raizen. She must be someone that they could not trust. But because Batman and Green Arrow personally introduce her then something must be done behind the scenes. Robin's quick thinking saved them from being suspicious of her.

Artemis: "Why didn't you guys tell me when we were at the cave?"

Robin: "Because he is a freelancer that helps the league but Batman doesn't want to compromise his connections to the league."

Artemis: "Why tell me now?"

Aqualad: "Because you are part of the team."

Even though they said that, they are slightly wary of her. Kid Flash did not argue with Artemis anymore because he knows if he did then she will know that they were on to her.

The mission of protecting Dr. Roquette is similar to what happened in the original and three assassins were sent to kill her but they failed because she was able to terminate the nanobots before they even get near the building of Bruce Wayne.

Nine days later, a search mission was given to the team, except Robin, by Red Tornado. They need to find Kent Nelson, keeper of the helmet of Dr. Fate, because he has been missing for three weeks. Red Tornado gave the team the key to the tower of fate to start from there.

Wally is still being skeptical about magic even though Aqualad already demonstrated for him a few times and still wants to get the attention of Megan.

When the team found the tower, the spirit or copy of Kent Nelson ask for their purpose because they were not recognized by the tower. Wally talked first to impress Megan but the spirit did not like him lying.

At the same time, Klarion and Abra Kadabra are with Kent Nelson when they entered the Tower of Fate.

Fast forward to defeating Klarion

Nabu didn't argue with Kent and released Wally's body easily but Kent was curious why.

Nabu: "Someone is preventing chaos from spreading too much and I'm still reluctant to accept his proposal."

Wally: "So thanks to that person, I can keep my body and Kent will be able to move on."

Nabu: "Yes."

Wally then takes off the helmet after Nabu helps the others with Abra Kadabra.

When the team finishes the mission against Clay Face without the help of Batman. Kaldur was not entirely in the fight so even though they won, there were too many mistakes that happened. Batman was in the cave when they returned and talked to Kaldur about what happened in their mission. He told Kaldur to make a decision if he should prioritize the team's mission or go back to Atlantis. When Batman left, Raizen came in and talked to Kaldur teleporting them both on the top of the mountain.

R: "He is not wrong. You should cool off for now and Robin will handle being leader until you make up your mind."

After that, Kaldur went back to Atlantis to sort out his mind.

While the others were busy doing their thing, Aqualad was in Atlantis wanting to see Tula. At the same time, the group of Black Manta was doing their plan to get a sample of the creature that is being studied in one of the labs in Atlantis. To create a distraction, they blow up some parts of Atlantis to force most of the guards to help their people. Black Manta then proceeds to infiltrate the science department and Aqualad went to see what is going on in sector 4.

Aqualad and Garth fight off against Black Manta and his groups and prevent them from taking the creature but Black Manta blow up the creature and leave them.

Aqualad decided to continue his work on the surface with the team and accepted the relationship of Tula and Garth.

When he return, Batman was already there and told him about his decision. The others joined Aqualad and Batman gave them their mission to Bialya.
