1 little two...cover you

When the three of them were inside Cadmus, they saw strange creatures on the 26th floor. On their search for answers, they came across Guardian and a group of g-gnomes. Then they went to project "Kr" to see what it was. They found out that Cadmus cloned Superman then the clone fight the three of them.

??: "Prepare them for cloning."

One scientist tried to get samples but they failed to penetrate a barrier surrounding the three of them.

S1: "Some kind of force field is protecting them. I couldn't get some samples."

??: "...put them in chambers for the meantime and continue educating project Kr. I will have to report this to the board of directors."

After a few minutes, the three teens woke up and see that Kr is guarding them.

Robin notices someone besides Kr but it seems the clone and the gnome don't see the person eating ice cream.

KF: "Can you help us out?"

R: "I'm not here to bust you guys out. This is your mission so I will not interfere."

Kr: "Who are you talking to?!"

Robin: "No one."

While the three of them were talking to Kr, the scientist was reporting the incident to a group of people.

??: "...dispose of them. And leave no trace."

???: "Are you sure about that?"

??: "Who said that?!"

???: "Vandal Savage, Lex Luther, Queen Bee, Klarion, Brain, Ra's al Ghul, Ocean Master. Are you sure it's the "Light"? Five of you are dressed in black."

??: "Is there anyone there with you?" *talking to the scientist*

???: "Don't bother asking him. You seven will never find me but I can find you."

Footage of the seven talking to a monitor is being shown on their respective screens.

???: "See, I know where you guys are. I will not intervene in your game though if you piss me off. Some of you would wish they are not immortal."

Then the monitors of these seven people suddenly blackout.

Back to the four...

They are now trying to get out of Cadmus with the help of Kr. While on their way out, they were blocked by the gnomes but they let them go but a scientist ingest a blockbuster formula and turn himself into a monster. The four of them, fight the monster for a while and won.

The league was not happy that they didn't call for backup.

KF: "But Raizen was looking out for us."

Sups: "Who is Raizen?"

Bats: "We will talk about it later. Where is he anyway?"

R: "Oh man, these corn dogs are delicious. Want some?" *asking the four teens*

GL: "Is he the one who is supposed to look out for them?"

R: "What does this do?" *holding a green ring*

Green Lantern's uniform was undone and the others were shocked to see it happen.

Flash: "Did you see how he did it?" *asking Superman*

Sups: "No. I didn't even see him move."

The ring then returns to Hal and his suit is back again.

R: "It's not like I was not monitoring them but if I have helped them every time then they will not learn something, especially cloning superman. And Kid Flash, if someone is a clone, it's not their son or daughter but brother or sister. So he is the brother of Superman and..."

Kr: "And?!"

R: "You will know in the future. Right, if you want to fly then I will help you. Superman is still shocked by what happened. I will be your legal guardian for now. Here are the paper works."

Raizen handed Kr his adoption papers.

Kr: "I'm Conner Kent? Is that your last name?"

R: "Nope, you will know it soon enough boy. *look at Batman* Can we use that mountain?"

A week later, the four of them were now at Happy Harbor in the League's other headquarters. Batman explained their purpose and introduce Red Tornado as their supervisor and Black Canary as their trainer. The niece of Martian Manhunter will also join their team, Miss Martian.

A week later, Robin and the two were talking to Red Arrow about the mountain and how it will become their base for covert missions but he doesn't want to be part of it.

Happy Harbor

The five of them intercepted Red Tornado to ask if he got a mission for them but he just said that Batman handles it. Megan tried to read his mind but she forgot that he is a robot. Before Wally could flirt with Megan, a voice from behind was heard by them.

??: "Shame..."

The others look at the person and recognize him.

Aqualad: "Raizen... why are you here?"

KF: "I don't suppose you have a mission for us."

R: "I do have one."

KF: "Sweet, what is it?"

R: "It includes dying on the job."

Conner: "What?!"

Robin: "Maybe a mission with zero percent of dying."

R: "Then I have none."

Megan: "How is that possible?!"

Wally: "What?"

Megan: "I can't read his mind. It is as if, he is like Red Tornado."

R: "Little girl, your too young to read the mind of my level. Even your uncle could not do it. Oh right, Conner, I did tell you about training how to fly but let's go to the sun first."

Conner: "The sun?"

R: "Of course, how do you think the man of steel power up. Besides, you are only half Kryptonian. That is the reason why you can't fly but we can make it happen. We just need your Kryptonian DNA to destroy your other half to make you pureblooded and the sun dipping will help that. But tour with the others first"

Conner nods and Megan started introducing the cave to the other three. The last part they did was to tour Happy Harbor with Megan's bioship.

Red Tornado sends them to investigate the power plant near them because of some disturbance. When they got to the place, they met with an individual that call himself "Mr. Twister".

??: "Don't underestimate the kids tin can."

Mr. Twister: "Who said that?"

Mr. Twister got hit to the ground by something that even the five of them got confused about.

??: "Go on, I'll help a little."

The five of them keep fighting but they keep losing. Megan thought that they're fighting Red Tornado.

R: "He is not Red Tornado"

Megan: "What?! Then who? I can't even read his mind."

Mr. Twister then made lightning out of tornados and hit them with it. Superboy tried to fight back but failed too. Before the android could finish them, they were covered by the bioship in cloak mode and the android lost interest.

Conner berated Megan for false information and the other agreed to him.

R: "Boy!, you were not even sure if that guy is the real Red Tornado but you put your trust in her."

Sboy: "Where were you when all of us got beaten up?!"

R: "I am watching you guys fail. This is the reason why they did not include you in Justice League. Other than going one by one and leaving your teammates behind. You guys were putting all the blame into one person instead of thinking about what went wrong. Now that she made a mistake you shouldn't be angry at her, at least not in the middle of a mission. That is why she is part of this team, to learn from her mistakes. Aqualad, Robin, and Kid Flash, you three also have faults to the result of the battle. Because of your anger towards the league treating you like sidekicks. It clouded your judgment. Did you even think for a second that it might not be Red Tornado?"

Aqualad: "No, we did not."

R: "Miss Martian and Superboy are new to these things and the two of them will seek guidance from you three."

Sboy: "Sorry Megan."

Megan: "It's alright, I thought that he was Red Tornado in disguise because he also uses tornados and is an android."

Sboy: "Then we will open it to see how it ticks."

The five of them fight off Mr. Twister as a team and won.

R: "I'm proud of you guys. Now."

Raizen levitated the broken android and squashed it into a sphere the size of a basketball.

R: "I already know who this tin can came from. He will try again so you guys should be ready. So Conner, let's get you sunbathing."

Few days later...

The team was assigned by Batman to get information from Santa Prisca.

When they were dropping in their designated locations, Super Boy did not land hard like in the series but slowly floated down.

KF: "It seems you can fly now."

Sboy: "Not yet, Raizen said I need more time for my cells to adapt before I could fly like my brother. I'm barely reaching the speed of sound if I push it."

Robin: "From nothing to 300 m/s is a big improvement."

Sboy: "He did say that. After the mission, I would need to practice maneuvering in the air freely."

MM: "I can help you with that."

Sboy: "I appreciate it."

KF: "And you're not a hothead too."

Super Boy shivers when he remembers something.

MM: "Did you just shiver? I thought Kryptonian don't catch a cold on Earth."

Sboy: "I'll tell you guys some other time."

Robin and Kid Flash go off on their own leaving Miss Martian and Superboy while Aqualad was closing into their position. KF met with the cobra group and Bane's group. The others bailed him out and tie up the two groups.

While the teams were making plans, Bane was also making his plans to get back Santa Prisca from Cobra by using the teens. Super Boy already knows the plan of Bane to use them and was also told by Raizen that Bane is a backstabber if partnerships will not benefit him.

Raizen then told him not to tell others and even if Megan form a psychic connection between them, she won't know about it. Conner wanted to argue that keeping secrets is wrong but was told to observe the team in the mission.

When the Cobra and Sports Master were talking, Bane created a diversion but the group from cobra responded quickly. Now Super Boy and Aqualad were pinned down. KF tried to bail them out but was being rained down by bullets. Robin wants to confront Cobra on his own but the situation for the others is getting worse.

Aqualad orders Miss Martian to link each other telepathically and do a tactical retreat. Once all of them were safe, they talked about what just happened. Aqualad talked about Robin with his disappearance and KF's running ahead without agreeing to a plan. Then they all decided to put Aqualad to be the leader of the team and make a plan to stop the shipment from leaving the island.

Fast forward to after the mission. Raizen talk to the team about what happened to their mission. He even showed footage of their work from start to finish.

Robin: "You already knew about Santa Prisca."

R: "Yes"

KF: "You also knew that Cobra and Bane were on the island."

R: "yes"

Aqualad: "Did you also know that Sportsmaster is the buyer?"

R: "Yes"

MM: "Then why not tell us?"

R: "You won't be a team if I said so."

Conner wanted to tell them that he also knew about Santa Prisca's information but did not tell the team. Raizen erased that information from Conner and their talk about it.

R: "It was necessary because you were not acting as a team before this mission. This was a test for you as a group to handle the situation when the first few plans did not work. You don't know this but, things need to happen for a reason. Did you know that Sportsmaster was able to save one vile of the new cobra venom and is probably being a reverse engineer by his boss right now?"

KF: "We need to tell the league about it!"

R: "Then what? If your enemies knew that you know their plans, they will just start over again. I'm telling you now this information so that you will be prepared for the future. This fight with that group will take decades."

Robin: "What?!"

R: "They are a very patient group. And just like in the Hall of Justice, you guys won't be able to tell the others in any shape or form about this information. *looking at Megan* Not even telepathically. Why do you think I'm helping Conner to use his powers?"

AL: "To prepare us. But what about our combat training?"

R: "If Black Canary or any other members of the league were busy, my android will help you train."

After saying that, one becomes visible to them and this one looks like Qrow from RWBY.

KF: "What or who is that? And does he has a broken sword?"

The android then hold the "broken sword" and extend its blade then it made the blade into a scythe and shoot from the handles.

Robin: "The weapon can do that?!"

Aqualad: "And it seems it was all done mechanically."

R: "Fight Qrow... the five of you will fight him. I based him on someone I knew to be one of the greatest hunters of the world."

MM: "What does that person hunt?"

R: "Grimms..."

Before dinner, the whole team fought with "Qrow" and were defeated in under five minutes. Now the five of them were lying on the ground from either exhaustion or body pains.

Robin: "We were defeated even with four powered individuals. The original must have a tough opponent to be that skilled."

When the incantation was finished, Robin was glowing. Raizen recites the words in a different language to not let the others know the incantation's meaning.

MM: "Why is he glowing?"

Before replying, Raizen manifests a sword and slice Robin with it. Instead of dying by being sliced in half. The glow protected him but it disappears entirely.

Aqualad: "Why did you do that?"

R: "It's good that all of you did not jump on me after that."

Conner: "You would not do things without reason."

R: "Killjoy. Anyway, the barrier that protected Robin from dying is his aura. Aura is a manifestation of the soul. As you can see, it did not last long from my attack but that is because I did an attack equivalent to slicing ten-meter-thick tungsten in half. But it can last longer from the rain of bullets, explosion, dropping from high ground, and others. So you would need to learn the limitation of your aura. As for the other benefits, it gives enhanced strength, speed, agility and even healing you as long as your aura covers you."

Aqualad: "Can anyone open their aura?"

R: "Yes but I will not allow it. You wouldn't like it if an army that can go against the Justice League emerged just because they know how to unlock their auras. That is why I recited the incantation in a different language that even the magical community will not be able to decipher. Even if by some miracle that they know about it, they will just forget about it entirely."

MM: "So you already made precautions for it?"

R: "Of course, I just don't like Robin to be the only vulnerable person in the group."

KF: "What about me?"

R: "You can run fast. You just need to know how to use it properly. Robin, you will meditate in your free time to strengthen your aura then spar with the android."

Robin nods and Raizen dismissed them. He told them that he is the one that cooked their dinner. These made them all excited because they already tasted his cooking from before but he only cooks dinner so they stay until then.
