Cooperation

The team went to Bialya to investigate the power surge and find out that Psimon is working for Queen Bee. It was a good thing that they were given bracelets like what Dr. Roquette has. Other than making a protective barrier around the wearer, it also blocks other telepaths from reaching out to the mind of the team.

When Super Boy notice that the sphere that they were holding onto is reacting to it, he decided to free it, and the rest of the team back him up in retreating.

A few days later when the team has no mission. Red Arrow ask for information about Cheshire when he was being undercover to the peace talks of Rhelasia. Red Arrow was able to stop Cheshire from killing the arbitrator that he later found out to be Lex Luther.

Red Arrow also found that Cheshire is working for Ras al Ghul with the help of Sportsmaster. He then requested backup from Aqualad protecting the two leaders of Rhelasia and Luther from the assassins.

In the meeting, Cheshire tried to assassinate the two leaders by blowing them up but Aqualad was also there to support Red Arrow. The bomb that Cheshire plan to use didn't blow up, instead, a voice was heard in the room.

??: "BOOM! No wait, it's a dud."

The Aqualad tried to capture Cheshire but her group and Sporstmaster barge into the room and fight off the security of the two leaders. Red Arrow takes on Cheshire and Aqualad is fighting against Sportsmaster.

When the fight is not getting in their favor, Red Arrow burst the sprinkler head to give a boost to Aqualad's water supply. Cheshire throws a smoke grenade and to cover them and one of the assassins tried a final attack but was stopped by the assistant of Luther. Lex was expecting praise from the two but they only gave him a look of contempt.

R1: "Thank you for saving us Lex Luther but we didn't need your help with the peace talk because we already had one a year ago."

R2: "We only did this to confirm something and you did not disappoint."

Luther: "Are you not impressed with the technology that saved your lives?"

R2: "Maybe but the safety of my people was already secured."

R1: "As to mine. *looking at the other leader* Why don't we stop by to his shop to eat before returning home."

R2: "After this, we should tell our people that we will rebuild Rhelasia's relationship with each other."

R1: "We will celebrate for a week! I hope he agrees to cook for us."

The two leaders walk out with their bodyguards who look like did not fight off the group of League of Assassins. The next day, the two leaders announce that they already made peace a year ago and the meeting today was just a ruse to know the person who started the conflict between their nations. They did not say who is the mastermind for the safety of their people but announced that Rhelasia will become whole again.

While Red Arrow and Aqualad were fighting Sportsmaster and Cheshire, Sportsmaster tip-off that he got information about what happened in Santa Prisca from someone inside. This made the two more so Aqualad has doubts about the team.

Back at the cave, Aqualad wanted to ask someone about the mole but...

R: "I know but I will not tell. This will be your burden and at the same time a test for the team's trust in each other."

Aqualad: "But, this might put the team in danger and might put a blame on someone that doesn't deserve it."

R: "Burden and a test."

Raizen didn't talk anymore and vanish.

In the mission to know why four ice villains were easily got caught, Miss Martian and Super Boy went to Belle Reve Penitentiary as an undercover twins who fought Superman and Martian Manhunter.

Superboy heard their plan to bust out all the prisoners inside the penitentiary and Miss Martian told it to Aqualad who is outside the building with Red Tornado.

The prison break did not happen because someone put a sleeping powder on the food they eat.

Amanda: "Knowing that psychiatrist is part of the plan of them gets on my nerve."

??: "They did not know that you know what their plan is that is why you let me cook for them. In case that they intend to bust out."

The person that Amanda Waller gave her a watch.

??: "If they do, push the button inside. It will chain them up to their cell. If you know the story about the "Chains of Heaven" then it's similar to it. I will also upgrade the ambiance of the prison to make the prisoners weaker and dumber but not kill them. I will also make them experience realistic nightmares that they will not escape easily until they wake up in the morning."

Amanda: "You're pretty intense to your punishments, huh."

??: "Why do you think for the past two years that no innocent person was sent to prison."

Amanda: "There was a report that real convicts confess their crimes whenever they stand trial. Most of the innocent that were framed have confidence now with the justice system because of that. Bribery was also lessened because the judge and the whistleblowers were always safe so they are not afraid to condemn the real culprit for a crime."

??: "The Greeks, Amazons, and magicians were stingy and did not help with the justice system. To think that the only thing that will help the system is an item similar to the lasso of Wonder Woman."

Amanda: "Are you sure that I need to learn these things?"

??: "If you're not qualified then I would not be talking to you right now. You have similar goals to the Justice League but are more cautious. It will not be beneath you to use the lives of these inmates to do a dirty job. A suicide squad if you will. But I have given you control to three Reaper Knights with the strength of the whole league each. If you diverge from your purpose then they will kill you so don't abuse them.

The person then walks into the shadows and three cloak individuals appear on his spot.

Five days later, the cave was compromised by two Red androids. Artemis was able to shut down the two but when Red Tornado came and tried to see the two androids. He used his ability and sucked the air out of the team.

When the team regain their consciousness, Red Tornado and the other two androids were gone and the rest of the league help them fix the cave.

Aqualad talked to Batman about the mole and Conner heard it. He confronted Aqualad because the team was put in danger especially Megan.

R: "Conner, stop! If you continue, you might kill Aqualad."

Conner: "Where were you when the two androids and Red Tornado attack the team."

R: "I was watching you and keeping you alive while also making it easier for them to get you guys under control."

Robin: "Why would you do that?! The team almost died because of it!"

Aqualad: "Robin, enough! Didn't you remember his promise?"

Robin, Conner, Megan, and Wally remember that Raizen will not let anything happen to them. So he must have done it for a reason.

Artemis: "Who is Raizen?"

KF: "So you finally heard his name, then you are not the mole."

Artemis: "What!? All this time, you guys were suspicious of me!?"

Aqualad: "Not entirely, you being here was suspicious but Batman and Green Arrow vouch for you and they must have known who you are."

R: "Tell them, I will help your mother walk again."

Artemis: *sigh* "I am one of the daughters of Sportsmaster. One of the assassins that tried to eliminate Dr. Roquette before is my sister and I let her go."

Aqualad: "It's good that you told us. When Sportsmaster tip-off that someone was a mole in the team because of the information leaked from Santa Prisca, you were the first one I doubt with. But it was clear that if you were then Raizen would have already done something to you. I also ask for his opinion concerning the mole but he only said that it will be my burden and test for the team."

Megan: "If Artemis is not the mole? Is Red Tornado the mole?"

Batman: "Red Tornado is one of the league and will be handled by the league."

R: "In the meantime, the team will go to India to investigate an attack on Mayor Hill. You can sort out your trust there."

When the team did their mission, they found out that The Brain was behind with the attacks using the animals in the jungle.

At the end of the mission, Aqualad kept his position as a leader and Artemis is more comfortable with the team.

The first mission of October came and the culprits called themselves Injustice League. They planned to use the cobra venom-induced plants to bring terror to the world. The Justice League was keeping the damage to a minimum but they are barely keeping the plants away from the civilians.

The team was then tasked to stop the Injustice League but they were also not able to stop them because of Wotan.

Aqualad decided to use the Helmet of Fate to summon Nabu. When Robin and Miss Martian were able to stop the main plant, the Justice League when to the location of the Injustice League and help the team.

After the fight, Kid Flash was angry that Aqualad put the helmet on. Aqualad then take off the helmet that made some of the league members that knows about Nabu's policy amazed that he let Aqualad go.

Aqualad: "Nabu said that you should have intervened directly so that the damage didn't escalate."

??: "No death as collateral. Can he do that?"

The members of the Injustice League were curious as to whom Aqualad is talking to but they didn't hear a reply from that person.

In the cave...

Batman wanted to link the six of them and create a scenario that they will always fail but Raizen suggested that he will be the one to do it. Like in the series, they died and couldn't stop the alien invasion. Different scenarios were given to them every time and they always fail. They either lose the whole team or just one of them until the mission was done.

While the six were in their training. The others outside were watching what they have been going through.

Captain Marvel: "Is the scenarios really necessary."

Batman: "Yes. They need to adapt to the different types of missions."

MMhntr: "But they are being traumatized even as we speak."

R: "It's alright, I will erase the traumatizing parts when they wake up but leave the experience."

CM: "You can do that?!"

R: "Of course. Who do you think keeping their mental health whenever Black Canary or Red Tornado was not here to give them a helping hand? I also have a Ph.D. in Psychology so when they have a problem, I helped them find a solution."

Bats: "Keep their memory from the alien invasion. They would need to think about something after their training especially the loss of a comrade."

After the training, one by one, they went and talked to Black Canary about their experience in the training. Conner did not lash out and leave the cave so the people from New Genesis came to Happy Harbor. They tried to accuse Super Boy of stealing the New Genesis Sphere but the sphere talked to them through the mother box that Super Boy save it.

Batman: "Who are you, people?"

Before one of them undermined Batman for being a peasant, the five of them floated from their transport and sent below to the level of Batman.

Vykin: "Who did that?!"

??: "Answer the question of Batman first before you ask yours."

The five of them ready themselves to fight when the mother box from the hand of the blue guy floated to someone with blond hair and blue eyes wearing a black trench coat with green designs.

??: "I said answer the question first or do you want me to pull your Highfather here and talk about why does he have naughty children."

When the person said that, a heavy pressure descend upon the five of them that even their strongest in their team is already passed out.

F??: "We will talk!"

The pressure on them disappears and they floated upright.

F??: "First let me introduce ourselves. My name is Dreamer. This is Serifan, Moonrider, their leader Vykin and..."

???: "I'll call him bear for now. So why are you here?"

Vykin: "We are here to retrieve the stolen genesis sphere but it seems it already has bonded with Super Boy but it's not the only one. Others were also stolen from our world."

???: "Super Boy, help them out to retrieve these other genesis technologies but be careful."

Super Boy nods and left with sphere, Wolf, and the group from new genesis. While the others were left confused with the whole situation. Raizen then told them about New Genesis and its people and how they treat others and their war with Apokolips. He left out the information about Darkside for the time being.

CM: "Are you sure that Super Boy will be alright with only him from the team going on a mission?"

R: "His training for the past few weeks would have been in vain if he can't even do a solo mission. Technically it's not but you get the point.

After Super Boy's mission, Batman and the others get information from him regarding weapons being used by criminals that originated from Apokolips.

Two weeks after the training in the cave, the team was now doing the best they can to help the children after the disappearance of the adults.

Billy Batson came to the cave and introduce himself as Captain Marvel and prove it by taunting Kid Flash. Billy then notices that there is something different in the cave.

Billy: "If all adults disappeared from the planet, why is Raizen here?"

The others look towards a person meditating on the side. Zatanna was surprised that she didn't recognize the person even when she had already been at the cave a few times.

Zatanna: "Who is he? Why did I only see him now? And why he was still here if he is an adult?"

Robin: "He is Raizen, he was always there even when you visited. He just doesn't want to show up to the others with suspicious background unless proven innocent."

KF: "Or he is just pranking the person."

Billy: "Definitely pranking. I saw him taking pictures of her and putting them in a notebook."

R: "That is personal Billy. Do you want me to make you forget that you are Captain Marvel?"

Billy: "I'm sorry."

MM: "But how is it possible that you didn't disappear but all the adults did?'

R: "I'm that awesome and leave it at that. Besides, even when I'm talking to you now, my mind is split in a lot of things. Like keeping some system online. The machines in the hospitals and the children who need them. The children who were left behind on planes in the sky. The children on roads and moving vehicles when the adults disappear and many more. So far no kid has died around the world and the stubborn teens were put to sleep."

Zatanna: "Oh my God! We forgot about them. We need to find a way to bring the adults back."

R: "Billy, turn into Capt. Marvel."

Billy: "But if I do that, I will also disappear. I don't want that to happen."

R: "Do it. Before this disappearance happened, I felt that the world was split in half then the adults disappeared."

Conner: "Are you saying that we are in a world where adults don't exist and another that kids don't exist?"

R: "That is why I'm ordering Billy to change to Capt. Marvel to see if the theory is correct."

The others turn to Billy to see his decision and the boy nods and shout "Shazam!" then he vanished from his spot.

The plan then was set in motion for both sides. With the fight with Klarion, Zatanna was not strong enough so even with the team's help, they were still having a hard time fighting him. She then put on the helmet of Fate and fight off Klarion. At the end of the battle, Nabu didn't want to release Zatanna because of her affinity for magic. Her father Zatarra wanted to take her place but was stopped by Raizen.

R: "That won't be necessary. Nabu, I already have a body for you to use."

Raizen then manifests a human body out of nowhere.

R: "You can have this instead. Not only it is compatible with you, but it also has a magic reactor to supply endless energy for your magic. It is basically a combination of an android and homunculus and this one does not degrade over time."

Nabu inspects the body and notices something.

Nabu: "It has no soul."

R: "Yes but it has multiple runes, inscriptions, and arrays that will protect your own soul. That is why this is made for you to use.

Nabu: "...I accept."

Nabu released Zatanna and she put the helmet to the human body. The body then changed to Dr. Fate and levitated himself and the magicians to put them in a prison made by him.

When Fate disappears, Zatarra walks up to Raizen.

Zatarra: "Thank you for helping my daughter."

R: "No problem, it was just a little hard to make a specific body to be used by an entity as powerful as Nabu. Three years man, that's how long it is. Besides, I like Zatanna as a little sister and don't want to see her sad just because you are not there for her."

While the team was celebrating the success of the mission.

Their enemy also manages to succeed in their own agenda.
