Assistant

"Is the work done?"

"Yes Ma'am, we've set up shell companies as you had instructed." The thin pale assistant pushed his glasses up his nose with a confident smile but his eyes betrayed his emotions as he couldn't face the woman sitting in the large chair in front of him.

"What about Wayne Enterprises?" Diana sat back on her chair folding the document in her hand.

"Currently seeing how most of our subsidiaries coincides with theirs, they still regard us a competition, so in my opinion, a co-operation among Wayne's and Smith's is a bit impossible. Especially seeing their attitude towards us."

"Nothing's impossible when it comes to business, you do know the basic rules don't you?"

"There's no friend and enemies in business."

"Exactly, as long as both sides earn profit they will willingly accept our olive branch. Regardless of our past." Diana swiveled around her chair, "Set up a meeting as quickly as you can."

"Yes, Ma'am." The assistant nodded as he noticed Diana staring at the empty corner in the room, from what he knew today was the day. It was Howard Smith's death anniversary. The youngest billionaire and a genius above any means. It was a huge loss to the company and the world, that such a person died an untimely death. Luckily, Miss Diana was able to succeed in people's expectations and let the company thrive. In true meaning, Diana was no less of a genius than the late Howard himself.

"Should I arrange flowers like usual?" He asked hoping to comfort the beautiful women in front of him. Obviously any man in their right mind wouldn't think a second about choosing Diana. She was the definition of a dream girl. A perfect 10 out of 10 face, alongside a glamorous sexy body. Unless the guy has a preference for another guy, it was easy to say that no one could dare resist her charm.

Alongside her beauty, her cold demeanor and intelligence was just another plus point. And the most important part was her wealth, the richest women alive. That title was enough to attract suitors even if Diana was an ugly duckling. Apart from having a short-lived marriage and her being still young without an heir, it was easy to say that any guy that could win her heart was going to win in life as well.

Diana was the flower that had men falling for her left and right. If she were to ever announce that she wanted to get married or fall in love again, it was certain that almost all the men in the country would even the married ones would leave their wives to grab her hand. Not only that even the arrogant Prince' in some countries have extended their proposal to her. But those poor bastards don't know one thing, and that is Diana would never pay even a single glance at them. After all, they were all below her.

Being the only man in Diana's life since Howard's death, even though he was just an assistant he was confident. Even compared to those Prince and famous businessmen he was the closest man to Diana. And he could tell that Diana valued him a lot so he was happy, after all, he was the only man she truly smiled at and became her true self in front of him. He knew everything about her, from what her favorite color was to the things she hated.

He had long wanted to make a move but facing much backlash from people alongside dealing with Howard's death, it was clear Diana was in no position to accept him. And he was understanding and willing to wait but it had been four years now and for some reason, it seemed the shadow of Howard still couldn't leave her mind. It was frustrating none the less, after all, regardless of who or what Howard built, he was dead. And a dead genius was no use to anyone.

Diana shook her head, "It's time to stop."

"I don't mean to overstep my boundries but ma'am are you saying?" The assistant asked with his eyes shining bright.

"Yes, after all, it's time to move on, isn't it?" Diana gave a seductive smile looking at him with enticing eyes as she walked over towards him grabbing his tie as she pulled him closer.

----------------------------

"What the heck is going on?" Diana asked back in the real world watching her assistant going crazy, as hugged himself while making out with the air. While her so-dead husband was laughing his ass off.

"Hahaha! This is too much fun than expected. Never thought the first thing I encounter would be a clown." Howard tried to his hardest to speak in the midst of his laugh as he wiped tears from his eyes, "I mean, I didn't even mean to eavesdrop but his suppressed desire for you was so strong, that I could hear it before I even entered the room."

"So you're making him see an illusion?" Diana asked awkwardly but at the same time concern filled her eyes.

"Don't worry, it's still me." Howard gave her a reassuring look, "I am getting quite better at this."

"Your concept of an imaginary world?"

"Exactly!" Howard said as he looked disgustingly at the assistant who had a boner rasing in his pants as a weird smirk formed on his face.

The assistant without warning grabbed his genitals looking at the air with his eyes wide open in horror as he fell on the ground screaming his lungs out.

"What did you do?"

"Well this bastard was having a lewd idea about my wife, so obviously as a jealous overprotective husband I made the imaginary you cut his you-know-what." Howard said gesturing a scissor with his hand.

Diana rolled her eyes, "So much of a husband who had been already dead for four years."

"Hey come on now, I did send a few love letters didn't I?"

"By love letters do you mean the letters that included two sentences of sweet words followed by paragraphs and paragraphs of how I should run the company?"

"Hey I might not be the husband of the decade but I can still assure you that there wasn't a day where I didn't think of you."
