Soon Jack left the house and went to the Sanctum Sanctorum in Manhattan in Greenwich Village, Jack soon arrived in front of a building that he remembered well seeing in the movies after improving his memory.

Jack could feel a strange kind of energy around the building, he was sure it was Vishanti's protection magic, it was the mystical defense of the land, other barriers were in the Sanctum of London and Hong Kong.

While he was thinking about it, Jack approached the door and was disappointed seeing that the door didn't open by itself because someone was waiting for him like it used to happen in the movies.

Jack then knocked on the door and waited for a while and soon the door opened, Jack saw that it was Dr. Stephen Strange who looked like actor Benedict Cumberbatch several years younger.

"Hello, what would you like coming over here?" Doctor Strange asked strangely why he knew that the New York Sanctum kept away common people who couldn't use magic.

"My name is Jack Shaw, I came here because I would like to learn magic from you and the Ancient One," Jack said, happy to see that Doctor Strange didn't know who he was.

"I don't know what you mean, you've seen too many stories to think that magic exists, and even if it did, New York isn't where you'd learn it." Doctor Strange lied without looking embarrassed.

"I know that normally people have to go to Nepal looking for the Kamar-Taj to learn magic from the Ancient One, but I read in a book that here in the New York Sanctum there is a portal to the Kamar-Taj, so I came here to learn magic." Said Jack speaking the secrets of Kamar-Taj.

Doctor Strange didn't know what to do, he understood that Jack knew some of the secrets of the world of magic, so he managed to get close to the New York Sanctum, he knew about the Ancient One and he also knew about the Kamar-Taj in Nepal.

"I heard that the Ancient One says anyone can learn magic, why don't you ask her if I can go to Nepal to learn too?" Said Jack not expecting Doctor Strange to think too much.

"Fine, you can go in and wait in the room, I'll ask a few people about what you want to know." Doctor Strange finally made up his mind and left Jack in the room while he went to ask the Ancient One.

Jack looked near the ladder he had seen in the movies and looked at various things that should be magical objects, Jack was eager to learn magic so he could fight various villains he couldn't face using only his great strength.

After a while Stephen Strange returned to the room with a woman who had no hair and wore a monk's outfit, Jack smiled seeing that the Ancient One was a woman like in the movie and not like the comics.

"So you're Jack Shaw, I was curious to know when you would come to me, but I didn't expect you to come to New York." Said the Ancient One smiling.

"There's a great power that protects you that didn't even allow me to see your name, I just know that you appeared close to Spider Man." The Ancient One continued.

"It's a great pleasure to meet you Ancient One, I don't plan to do any harm to Earth with the power I have, I want to protect Earth, that's why I came to you to learn magic." Said Jack excited about talking to the Ancient One.

"I am glad to hear this, I hope you can protect Earth from the dangers that will come in the future, I will teach you what I know about magic, after all, it was a request from the Vishanti." Said the Ancient One.

Stephen Strange who was listening to the conversation was shocked by what he heard, he never heard the Ancient One say that he couldn't see someone's past and future, and he was shocked to learn that the Vishanti asked the Ancient One to teach magic to Jack.

"Come, let's go to Kamar-Taj, there we have bigger libraries with books for you to learn more about magic, when you understand what the books say, let's start training." Said the Ancient One who soon opened a portal to the Kamar-Taj.

Jack was happy to personally see someone opening a teleportation portal just like he saw in the movies, Jack followed the Ancient One and saw that Doctor Strange also went with them to Kamar-Taj.

After going through the portal Jack saw Karl Mordo and Wong looking at him, Jack realized that Doctor Strange warned everyone about him going to the New York Sanctum.

Jack was happy and smiled looking at the many people practicing magic and the beautiful scenery of Nepal, in New York Jack couldn't feel that he was in the Marvel universe, but in Kamar-Taj he felt it clearly.
