Chapter 85

As Jane was beating on Thor's chest, trying to bring him back to life, The destroyer kept walking, not bothered with anything.

Jack didn't have any thoughts on stopping it, none of the civilians were hurt, he had done his best.

At this moment, the sky started to darken, faint sounds of a thunderstorm was heard. Jane was too sad to notice this as she kept trying to bring Thor back to life.

This thunderstorm was a little different from a normal one, Jack could feel a vague sense of threat from the winds and the thunder, the warrior three and even Darcy and Selvig looks up, the weather change was too abnormal, one moment it was clear, and the next moment, thunder flashed.

Sounds of something breaking the sound barrier were heard, that was when Jack knew that the hammer was flying towards them, he didn't waste any time and flew towards Jane and brought her back to safety just in time to see the hammer held by Thor who was encircled in lightning, countless thunderbolts struck the place.

At this moment the Destroyer also stopped and looked back at Thor, who was now back in his prime form, he was back.

Jane, when she looked at this, was surprised, she looked at the Lightning clad god and said "oh my god" - a sentence befitting of the scene.

Jack also gave a thumbs up, he felt that, without his OFA, he wouldn't be able to fight with the current Thor, unlike how he stalled for time with the destroyer, Thor was in a league of his own.

The destroyer started running towards Thor who bashed the giant destroyer with his hammer and sent it hurtling backwards,

He held Jane in his arms for a moment, consoling her before he entrusted her to his friends as he made way for the destroyer.

The two of them swept up the town in a huge hurricane that was produced by Thor, after several minutes, the figure of Thor came out, the destroyer also got out, it was blasted into smithreen, Jack had no doubt that the robot wouldn't be waking up ever again.

As Thor went up to Colson, to talk with him, Jack quickly reached for the wreckage of Destroyer and stored it in his pouch, it was better if the SHIELD didn't get their hands on this stuff,after that Jack quickly made his way towards Thor who gave a huge smile as he saw Jack.

"Haha! Cedric,I saw you fight the destroyer, you are very strong for a human." - Thor said, although he said roughly the same things as before, this time, they held no arrogance, they only held simple admiration and acceptance of Jacks strength.

Although Thor would be more surprised if Blitz had fought instead of Cedric. After all, the power of OFA was not necessarily less then what Thor just displayed, provided Jack would be ridden with broken bones and whatnot.

"My friend Cedric, I shall come back and have a beer with you once I deal with my brother." Thor looked to be in a hurry as he gave Jack a big hug before he shouted at the skies.

"Heimdall, open the bifrost" - shouted Thor.

Yet nothing happened.

"Heimdall!!" Thor shouted again.

"Heimdall, I know I am banished, but I hope you can help me this once as a friend, I need to make things right." - shouted Thor.

Just when Jack thought that something else other then canon might have happened, the skies turned a shade darker.

Thor looked at the skies then at Jane who was standing besides him; "Jane, you should step aside" - said Thor.

Jack at this moment, Used the spells to turn invisible, and cast a notice me not charm on himself as well.

He moved closer towards Thor, in the next moment, The bifrost was summoned and Jack, along with the the warrior three, Sif and Thor, disappeared from the face of the earth.

While Jack went on his first galactic journey, he didn't know that his long gone mother was back, and she was worried sick about her son, who had not gone to school for several days, and he wasn't picking up his calls.

At the same time, Colson was also looking around, and trying to contact the only person who might have answer to many of the questions that him and his superiors had none.

After feeling the same feeling as when one feels after taking a ride on a roller coaster , Jack was finally on Asgard.

The first thing he saw was a one armed Heimdall, who had blood flowing out of his shoulder and Thor, who was flying away while the warrior three ran after him.

Jack saw them fly and run away as he shifted his gaze back to Heimdall,who was , unsurprisingly, also looking at him.

With a hand over his cut shoulder, "You followed him back here, you know that Asgard is off limits to mortals" - said Heimdall, in his ever imposing voice, though it made him look pathetic with his broken body.

"Loki really did a number on you, huh, so do you want to get healed or not," - Jack asked as he walked towards Heimdall.

Heimdall kept quite for a moment before he nodded.

"Here, this will keep you alive, you have bled too much." - Jack threw a potion before he flee away, with Thor back, Jack had no doubt that he would win, but there was something in Asgard that was calling him.

He didn't notice it before, but ever since Thor landed on Earth, Jack was being guided to this place, though now that he was so close , he could feel the effects clearly.

Leaving behind a Heimdall who was too injured to chase after him, Jack flew away.
