Chapter 84..Destroyer attacks

Loki looked smugly at the wizard who was desperately trying to shield himself from the attacks of the destroyer.

Jack was sweating as he desperately held on to the shield, Protego was barely able to stop the attacks from the destroyer.

'How about the sorcerers spells then.' - Jack thought as he quickly turned back into his original form, he put on a mask so that SHIELD wouldn't suspect anything, stalling for time was of the essence.

There was still time before everyone could be evacuated.

The shield spells of the sorcerers was much more sturdier, it was able to effectively block the attacks.

After seeing that the attacks were not effective, the destroyer stopped attacking.

"That all you got?" - Jack taunted the destroyer, the next moment, something that Jack didn't expect happened, It lept at Jack with extreme speeds before it started banging at the shield.

On the third punch, the shield broke and Jack was sent hurling away, Jack stood up with difficulty, a bit of blood leaked from his mouth,

"Hey! at least warn me before you do something like that alright." -  Jack still had the time to laugh as he got on his broom and flew upwards, the giant started firing at him again, meanwhile Jack kept dodging around as he drank a few potions and deployed all of his bronze minions.

The place looked like a battlefield from a fantasy novel, A giant Destroyer kept raging around as it tore through hordes of bronze minions, these bronze minions were the hard work of Jack over all the years.These couldn't be just on a whim, at least not in such a large quantity

Jack couldn't help but shed a tear as he saw some of his first statues break down and beheaded in front of him.

Suddenly while fighting the Destroyer stopped, only a handful of Statues were left standing . Jack saw as a stream of fire was released from it's feet before it flew away.

Jack knew what was happening, it was making it's way into the town to get rid of Thor.although Jack believed that Thor was ready, he didn't want to see any unforeseen circumstances.In his original form, he went after the giant as it tore through the sky, making way for the small town in the distance.

In moments, they were already in the town, the heavy giant directly landed and crushed a car beneath it's feet.

In front , Jack saw the three warriors who had their weapons out.Behind him were Jane, Darcy and Dr selvig who were looking at the giant destroyer with awe and fear.

"Let's fight!" yelled the three warriors as they charged at the giant , the first warrior was backhanded and launched into a nearby wall.

The second one used his body weight and the axe in his hands to smash at the destroyer but was unsuccessful, similar to the first one, the warrior was launched into the air and flew a good twenty meters before coming to a stop.

The third one was able to launch a surprise attack and was able to leave a big dent on the body of the giant, although he did way more damage then Jack, who, along with all his statues and his own magic attacks, was unable to damage the giant.

The damage dealt would be healed in moments.As Jack thought, that wasn't all as Sif appeared out of nowhere and attacked the back of the destroyer, her neck passed right through the giant, after a while the destroyer stopped and everyone started celebrating only for it to turn around and blast her away,fortunately the armor served its purpose and Sif was alright,

Jack quickly arrived besides the Injured warriors and got them back to safety,

He appeared besides Thor who was having a moment with Jane, after talking with her, he started walking towards The destroyer slowly,

Thor, for the first time in his life felt what it was like to be powerless, to be oppressed, to be looked down upon, to not be able to do what was right.

But along these, he also learned to understand, to feel, to know how the weak feel when they are looked down upon, the bedt of all was that be learned how to control his raging hormones, he finally understood what it means to be king, what it means to put the people first.

Thor slowly walked as he talked to his brother, begged for his brother to end it with him, and to bring an end to his madness.

Unfortunately, it felt like Thors words fell deaf ln Loki, as the destroyer that was about to walk away bitchslapped their far away, It was alright when Jack, who had protection got hit, and the warrior three had asgardian physique, but Thor was now a mortal, a single slap was enough to send him to the brink of death.

Jane couldn't stop herself as she cried and ran towards thor, who was down and out, seeing the beautiful mortal in front of him, Thor could only ask for forgiveness.

Jack meanwhile, was looking at all of this, he didn't want to fight the destroyer, for the destroyer had filled his purpose and would return to it's owner.

Although he was ready to defend at any moment if Loki had any plans for Earth.

Jack watched as the destroyer walked away, leaving trails of dust in it's wake...
