Many people have mentioned an inability to enjoy system books after reading this series, trash system books are indeed difficult to stomach now. I’d like to focus on other aspects of the book, the MC is interesting and he grows overtime kinda like aging steak, steak is good day one but age a steak and you develop further flavours. This isn’t a strength thing, sure MC is stronger but he’s also more complex. A weakness is that many of the side characters seem shallow by comparison, part of it is due to changing landscapes. I’m looking forward to volume 3, some of the side characters have been around for some time now. Author had mentioned something about the complexity of the story and I’ve not seen it, story is fairly accessible, though it does try to subvert expectations which is currently interesting. Overall it’s entertaining and worth the coins to read
sorry I‘m not a nativ speaker expect a lot of typos. I‘m normaly not a big fan of the system geanre because there is always the question in my mind why the system would gif the MC these stupid quests. Then there is also the question were the weird powerups / statpoints come from or how they wizzard some weard OP items without origin into the MCs hands. And, the biggest question, why do they use so manny reasauces on the MC. This Story is exactly waht I needed an is pushing all my buttons the right way.
I can no longer look at system novels the same now. Thanks a lot author 😭 I've read up to 20 ish chapters and no longer wish to continue reading as I wish to forget this novel due to traumatic experiences... Im joking... But I can not actually enjoy my usual system novels without being reminded of this. But good job with unique idea. Besides my personal opinion, the novel is pretty good. Besides the bizarre naming sense I've seen so far. One annoying thing I noticed while was that in the chapters I've read, the full name of the MC was written there multiple times and could of changed to either a part of their name or even a he, him, his etc. Other than that, the story seems to be enjoyable. If it weren't that the fact I have read system novels, this probably would have been my favourite read. Good luck with this novel! And I hope this novel doesn't ever appear again in my recommended ever again. 🙃
What makes a story good? to answer this one, you must either use your own bias or use the collective sample of too many people. I will be short and blunt. This story is "good" under my own bias. Everything in this story is so well thought out. the next 200 chapters feel like they were planned in advance while also staying consistent to it's own points. If a character becomes relevant at some point for nearly any reason, they will play a role, and they will play that role to a TEE. a 2-D character will stay as such unless forced to adjust. On a similar note, all 3-D characters will stay consistent to their goal, be it self-preservation or benefit. More than all of that, symbolism and personification, along with other poetic elements, are integrated nearly prefectly. It also has twist like crazy, you can see a twist coming from a mile away, but you very rarely know what it actually is, like a blind spot when you are driving, you can see the blind spot, but don't know what it blocks or what may result of ignoring it. Mind you, this is 100% personal bias, I have no right to talk about if this story is actually "good", because I only speak for my self, if you think this story is also good, like this review to help determine it.
Read untill chapter 653 and honesty the first couple hundred chapters were good but after that it just spiraled out into over explaining things for dozens of chapters in a row and honestly its just super boring with more then half the novel over explaining things that dont need to be explained, im giving this novel a 5 star for respect of the first couple good hundred chapters
This story has potential, lots of potential. But there are glaring problems too. In the first 500 chapters, till mc destroys all luck systems, story was great. Even though it seemed that mc is getting bizarre powers out of nowhere, still story was interesting as the opponents of mc were too powerful, and mc needed to get such powers to be able to fight. But after 500+ chapters, when mc arrives in the first system world, where slayer etc were born, writing quality takes a dip. it becomes difficult to understand the motivation of various characters, why slayer needs to fight main characters and zaira, the system Lord, at the same time. Since author's writing quality becomes poor at such critical points of story only, it seems that author has become confused, and so he just writes away anything, just to let the characters fight one another, and let action continue. Still having invested so much in the story, it is still interesting to read about the fights and how mc get more and more bizarre powers to be able to win.
My review contains some very light spoilers until chapter 20 I can safely say after 20 chapters this feels like the novel Reincarnated as an energy with a system in the sense of MC being able to use more than one power system and I love the fact that the first world has a unique energy I have never read about before. I highly recommend this novel it's familiar with the whole system stuff but has a very unique twist. Love it
Volume 1 was great, but volume 2 is eh. For one reason only, I hate grishna or whatever the heck her name is. She's honestly just annoying and I understand that the mc at least needs one companion even though he doesn't because things were working fine on there own, but you don't see me complaining about the women on the darlac planet, yk why. Because they were good characters, but grishna just feels like terrible writing to me even though the author is a great writer, but you cant be flawless. This is the flaw. Terrible character, ruins the entirety of volume 2, and if she becomes a system slayer and stays with the mc i might not be able to handle it.
This novel has destroyed all system novels for me. I love this book, the plot is well thought out, you can't exactly predict what happens next. The world's and their power systems each feel like would make wonderful novels of their own 😂. The only issue I have which is personal is that MC feels like a fugitive who is constantly on the run and hiding. Author, awesome work here. Keep it up. Looking forward to future chapters and future novels from you.
