Storyline is good, but damn, the grammar leaves much to be desired. Alright, I'm not that picky if you're using the wrong words at times or if there are certain misspelled words. But it absolutely urks me when you miss out basic grammatical words like "a" and "the". If you're someone like me thats extremely picky with grammar, then this might not be for you. If you can't care less about the grammar, then it might just be a good read for you.
is valuel a word or is it a typo? because ive attempted to search up its meaning and did not manage to get any results. please enlighten me.
i love that the author had added this slightly indepth detail. Hoping to see some water added into the dungeon soon lol
whats the name of the poem (the chinese name would do)
I had read this book thrice, and for the first two times, I couldn't get pass how dull the first 20 or so chapters were. On the 3rd try, I realised that the later parts of the book is actually pretty amazing. However, I dislike the fact that the characters don't seem to invoke any of my emotions. I don't sense the desperation from the characters as they struggle through a situation. The writing and large scale battles do give off a sense of anticipation and thrill though, so i particularly enjoy those parts. Overall, not my favourite but somewhere up there in my list.
Honestly, the plot is actually pretty good. The main idea revolving around this novel feels similar to tales of demons and gods. But my brain is being affected by all the random errors in the sentence structure and whatnot. Yes, I saw the warning about English not being the writer's native language, but I'm reading to mostly improve my vocabulary and chill as I read along. So i find it particularly disturbing when I find myself trying to correct his errors in my head instead of enjoying the plot of the novel. idk man, if yall aren't affected by the grammar, then go ahead and read on.
is to form a contract with anyone.
The first ever novel I read and I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. I love the way the story flows and the hilarious elements in it. However, the author seemed to have completely halted progress on the novel itself and has been focusing on the manga version. Recommend reading it if you are okay with the story probably not being finished.
eh, I would prefer if the author just said that "humans were physically weaker compared to the monsters" since it sounds better and slightly more grammatically accurate but :/ it is what it is i guess
Pretty good book, but at some point it just became extremely painful to read. Especially when you get to that anime cult part. The amount of cringe I had been suffering ever since the start of that story development. Sure, im not someone thats particularly interested in anime, so those terms are quite the turn off for me. If ur into this type of stuff then sure, give this book a read, but im not gonna continue on. Note that i stopped at chapter 90. Im not sure if this anime plot thing will continue on for the rest of the novel, but there isn't a point in persisting in reading something that causes you to feel...well, kinda weird tbh.
